Posted June 4, 20159 yr After building my large castle I had a few left over pieces. So I decided to make a small castle outpost. I tried a new technique as I mostly had 1x3 bricks and 1x1 round bricks left over. Enjoy Untitled by K R, on Flickr Untitled by K R, on Flickr Untitled by K R, on Flickr Untitled by K R, on Flickr
June 4, 20159 yr That is a nice outpost, especially given that it was mostly built from leftovers Btw, is there a war coming? 10 guards for an outpost is quite a lot!
June 4, 20159 yr Author haha yes there is, I have a huge set up that im putting finishing touches on. And gonna create a large battle against dragon knights.
June 4, 20159 yr I concur - that's a very good outpost to be built from leftover parts. It's also appropriately sized for an outpost and the number of figures looks normal to me. (I usually think most outposts are too small.) The overall design is somewhat simple but it looks like a lot of fun. Nice job.
June 7, 20159 yr Very nice work on the outpost. I love the fact that you used one of the old base plates
June 7, 20159 yr Author Thanks, Yea all my sets are from the 80-90s except for the new castle lstuff i bought last year. I have a bunch of baseplates so i always enjoy using them.
June 9, 20159 yr Love it. Modern yet classic. The background (although not Lego) makes the whole MOC even more pleasing to the eye. Something about all the natural light and toned down natural colors contrasting with those gorgeous Lego colors. Great work man. Edited June 10, 20159 yr by Legocity2713
June 10, 20159 yr Fantastic work here! The wall texturing and use of that raised baseplate are wonderful
June 10, 20159 yr Author Thanks! I want to take pics of all my MOCs outside at some point in the grass. I think it will look great.
