Karlo Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 It has be awhile since i have posted anything on Eurobricks so here it is one creation made by my wife and me. Hope you all enjoy it like we did building it :D Quote
legoguy1984 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 That is an incredible build, so much happening and wonderfully put together. The balloons are one of my favourites and the lake with the island is great. The fact that it was a joint project between your wife and you must make this extra special for you, it's wonderful that you two can share your hobby/passion like this. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Fantastic MOC! You two did a wonderful job Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Now that is a MOC worth talking about, detailing and action plenty ! I really like it , AWESOME is another word I would use as well ! Brick On 'Karlo' ! Quote
Vorkosigan Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Such a peaceful setting. The balloons are a great idea and I like the gazebo. Quote
peedeejay Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 That's a lovely setting with alot of nice details. You can really feel that it must've been alot of fun building this. Quote
ergizheng Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 The balloons are one of my favourites and the lake with the island is great. Quote
gazumpty Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Really nice work...lots of great little scenes captured throughout the build. I like your kiosks and the little pond 'pergola' Quote
Kristel Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 This is just awesome, with such a great atmosphere! My favourite part is the gazebo on the lake. Quote
archy970 Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Awesome, everything is perfect, any detail is on the right place, can't be better. I like it. Quote
Venunder Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 A very nice looking park, for any town or city. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Epic work, the trees and the little lake are beautiful! The restaurant perfectly fit this large MOC! Just the clown looks like a weird creepy man! Quote
yohai71 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 (edited) The amount of creativity running through this diorama is unbelievable. Absolutely great work. Edited June 6, 2015 by yohai71 Quote
greg3 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Excellent creation!! Looks a lot like a park near to where I live (it has a carousel, boating lake etc) I especially like all the little details you've added - they really bring the scene to life perfectly! Nice work! Quote
Prairie Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 I enjoy this. The self-contained nature gives me a satisfying sense of closure and completeness. The layout of everything seems coherent and purposeful. My mind sort of fills in non-physical details like what sorts of things are done there, how people might move around and what the place might look like throughout the day. I want to see more shots of the restaurant. Quote
Palixa And The Bricks Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 That's beautiful. I like the ambience. It's like you can almost hear the birds chirping and the rustling of leaves in the wind. Quote
ecmo47 Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 (edited) Overall, a real feast for the eyes! The park, the gazebo and the restaurant are all very harmonious! Nice use of the minifgs to make the build come alive! The only thing that looks out of place (to me) is the top of the carousel. It's too tall and the color does not complement the rest of the scene. Looks kind of gloomy. I will say that is a very innovative use of the QAR sails, though! Thanks for sharing. Edited June 7, 2015 by ecmo47 Quote
