Falconfan1414 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Wow we are getting a mighty eagle. These sets turned out better than expected Quote
Soupperson1 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 These builds look okay, but finally a hot dog bun!! :P Quote
Robert8 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 (edited) Well.... For all the Castle fans.... there it is our castle And it even comes with its own version of Axl I wonder if LEGO will be calling these things "minifigures" in the official descriptions Edited December 20, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
dimaks13 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 (edited) If someone needs - here are pictures of 5 of 6 sets closer: Edited December 20, 2015 by dimaks13 Quote
Exetrius Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I expected absolutely zero from this theme (going towards negative after the first figurine pics ), but these sets look pretty solid! I quite like the castle and the ship. The designers did a great job. Quote
strangely Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I actually really like these sets, even the minifigures. They're odd and don't look much like minifigures, but they are accurate, so I can't really fault Lego for that. The set designs themselves are pretty good and I really like the parts selection. If the boards and TNT crates are printed I'll be very happy. The new hot dog mold is pretty interesting too. Like the egg piece, glad it comes in more than one color. Quote
DarthPotato Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I think the sets do a really good job of complementing the figures. I'm very surprised we're getting the Mighty Eagle, but I'm not complaining since he looks really cool! And I really like that hot dog bun mold, especially because the hot dog's still removable from it. Quote
Kez Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 These look fun, the colours are certainly vibrant and I think that the sets actually compliment the figures. Something else that is on my list for 2016 (poor ol' wallet...). Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 There's a few nice parts. Nothing too special from what I can see, probably give these a miss- looks like Star Wars and Ninjago are getting my set budget this year... Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Wow, those two small sets are must buys. Sets look great. Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Well um, the castle looks cool! Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Told you guys the sets would look better than the leaked figures. I'm really loving this theme, there's a lot of useful pieces. I'm happy we're getting the hot dog bun! These are going to be expensive though. Quote

I'm happy we're getting the hot dog bun! These are going to be expensive though. I'm not too happy they reused the same mold for Leonard. He's obviously a bigger character in the trailers. I also noticed they made a new mold for the bottom half of the balloon, but it's only like a stud taller... Hot dog! That market set is great by itself, must get too. Is it $40? BrickFit26 Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I'm really impressed by the sets. The Castle Quote
Aethersprite Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I won't be getting these sets, but they turned out a lot better than I expected. I'm loving the modular nature of that castle set! Quote
Shawn Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 How many different birds are we going to get? I grabbed them all in one place. http://minifigpriceguide.com/wordpress/lego-angry-birds-official-catalog-image-posted-on-russian-site/ I won't be getting these sets, but they turned out a lot better than I expected. I'm loving the modular nature of that castle set! They look way better than I expected as well. Quote
Ultron Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 (edited) That Mighty Eagle is a very interesting mold/figure. And I still love the Pink bird Stella. That one's my favorite! The King Pig looks awesome too! Is that a cloth piece that goes around the whole fig? Edited December 21, 2015 by Ultron Quote
just2good Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 That Mighty Eagle is a very interesting mold/figure. It uses the existing eagle moulds, right? Quote
Ultron Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 It uses the existing eagle moulds, right? I can't tell...the tips of his wings look a bit different than the ones from LotR but maybe it's just the angle? Quote
telaruhn Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 (edited) Don't care much for the figures, but DANG each set comes with lots of great parts, including plenty of eggs! I definitely need to get the set with the hot dog stand - the bun mold is too good to pass up. And maybe that ship for those sails... Maybe the pig pirate's hat can be used on regular minifigures? Edited December 21, 2015 by telaruhn Quote
Actor Builder Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Well this is certainly an interesting turn of events. The sets look good. Fun, even. Like the rest of you, I'm quite happy about the hot-dog bun. The eagle wings look different than the Lord of The Rings versions to me. Quote
Fritzy Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Anyone else getting a Rube Goldberg vibe from the city set? Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted December 21, 2015 Author Posted December 21, 2015 For guys who want to get Hot dog piece- be patient. Next year friends sets will have it for sure :) Quote
