June 10, 20159 yr You should ask yourself that question. Here, you're likely to see a lot of post like the one above warning you off of it simply because "it's not LEGO". Don't listen to them. I should also add that a product's quality can be subjective. Whereas one person may think a product is bad, another person may think it's good. Never judge the quality of a physical product until you have it in hand. Take it from someone who actually owns a couple knockoffs. Edited June 10, 20159 yr by Jetrax99
June 16, 20159 yr I'm not adverse to other companies... I mostly stick with LEGO, but have some MB sets; got a Kreo USS Enterprise, got some "knockoff" superheroes (the Fantastic Four), but after watching the video I would say these don't look good at all... the shininess and complexion on the face is bad, it looked difficult for an adult to put it together, and the hips/legs part just didn't look good at all. June 16, 20159 yr That guy sure did seem to have a little bit of trouble assembling the figure. Snapping in the arms and hip joint seems like a good way to accidentally break a piece.
June 16, 20159 yr As one of the Bootleggers, JLB aren't known as one of the best out there. I haven't got any of there stuff myself, however it's that cheap in Aliexpress I'd be tempted to take a punt if they had some figures I was keen on.
June 16, 20159 yr I bought the JLB monster high set of bootlegs for my daughter. Quality is not that great to be honest, but who cares. She enjoys them and they are unique. They actually came with a few useful accessories like the saxophone that my son stole for his mini figs.
June 22, 20159 yr Yeah I'm with the other bootleg folks in saying that JLB aren't the best, especially here, but they're cheap enough to where even if they are crap, you didn't invest a ton in them to be angry.
June 22, 20159 yr It seems minidolls are harder to copy than regular minifigs (which is understandable). I've seen some good bootlegs but this one seem kinda meh. Just buy one of the official polybags, it's not much more expensive and it's the real deal. This figure has nothing to do with Frozen anyway. Although I'm a bit of a purist, I can understand buying bootleg minifigs either when the character doesn't exist in LEGO form or if you don't want to pay an excessive amount of money for a loose minifig but this isn't worth it imo.
June 24, 20159 yr They are pretty terrible. The faces are horrible and the plastic is really really bad. I put the official Elsa and Anna heads on them and painted them up a bit to make them look slightly more decent.
