For casual fans who have only gotten into comics since the movie boom then Hyperion is no more obscure than Hawkman. And for long time fans of Marvel comics in particular he is very welcome, as is Captain Marvel.
August 30, 20159 yr Oh thank god, it's Captain Marvel and not the old Ms. Marvel. The Captain Marvel suit is so so much cooler. If we were gonna get Ms. Marvel I'd hope that it'd be Kalama Khan. The Skull Sub isn't all that impressive by the sound of things, and Hyperion is a big shock. I'm probably only going to be buying the space set for Captain Marvel. I'm so unbelievably thankful that Gobby's going to be in a racers set because I really can't justify paying $30 for him.
August 30, 20159 yr Yeah, i don't think so, it's a brand new Hawkeye... i think they will pas on Vision, Ant-man and Black widow if they pass on hero's 20,00 set could easily have 3 figs, my bets are 20: Cap, Crossbones, Scarlet Witch / Falcon 35: Cap, Iron Man, Hawkeye, War Machine 50: Baron Zemo, Black Panther, Falcon, Iron Man, Bucky And there's still the rumored J2G set, for all we know that could be a 80 Dollar exclusive! Highly unlikely that we'd get 0 of the 3 notable females in the film. Lego/Marvel would be criticized so hard. Yes actually they most certainly are. And for long time fans of Marvel comics in particular he is very welcome, as is Captain Marvel. Agreed, I think the selection in that set is absolutely comparable to the darkseid set. For one, Thanos is more well known than Darkseid (ironic) and hawkman, cyborg, and green arrow are def a good selection, but Captain Marvel is really up and coming in pop culture and Hyperion is a nice addition too

August 30, 20159 yr Given the price points of the sets - $19.99, $29.99 and $59.99 - what is reasonable to expect for Minifigure counts? Well, after two Minifigures, liscensed no less, in multiple $10 sets, I'm not sure what to expect for figs per price point.

I know for a fact that all the 'at the time' unreleased movie-related sets LEGO has made usually are blanked out in catalogs to prevent spoilers.
