Dang it! Was really hoping for some pictures of the 4th CW set. Oh well.

Disney is getting really good at keeping secrets secret until they want them to be known. I'm betting we don't see the fourth CW set till after the movie drops.

^ Unless they want to use the leak to promote the movie.

The more spoilers I read about CW, the more sense the fifth set makes. Mostly to do with an assault on mountain lair...

I trust you people will be keeping those spoilers to themselves?

Or is this thread going to be flooded with nothing but post after post of spoiler tags and quoted spoiler tags?

I really do want to see the details of those Spiderman sets though, so whoever gets those, please show them off!

Yep! Don't forget after the people say there is no info people suddenly get hyped that it's about to appear and then doesn't!

2 contests, a designer interview, a few set reviews... that's about it.

I mean I'm excited for the set too but who cares. I'm not going to beat my head over not seeing it yet. We'll wait just like we did for the original Civil War sets and then see if we like it or not. The hobby isn't life or death so relax everyone.

Realistically it cannot be revealed before the movie if they are leaving it as a secret. It cannot be done directly right after the movie because not everyone has the privelage to see it the day or weekend of release. Plus if it is a summer release and a store exclusive we should not expect it too far in advance. I would say an online leak in a month or two seems realistic unless some figs make it onto the market before then.

Until then everyone should kind of relax. Be happy with what you have now and stop being such a materialistic society always looking for the next big thing. Life is what happens while you are waiting and not when you get what you are waiting for.

It's just harmless buzz, but I see how it can be unproductive. Speculation can only take you so far before you do rinse and repeat. I'm fortunate that I'm new to the hobby so I have plenty of existing minifigs to look for while I wait.

We don't have any reason to expect the set to be amazing, amiright? I mean, the quality of the rest of the wave aside. The only thing we can truly expect IMO is for Spidey to be in it.

I would /hope/ that he's got lots of good printing, etc, and that at least one of the other figures is new, but we have nothing to go off of right now for the build, and thus nothing to expect. No reason to get your hopes up for the set, really, so idk what you guys are worried about.

Really the only highlight I think is the MK 37 Iron Man, everything else is just mediocre. I really wish they took out the hydra diver and put in Arnim Zola.

I didn't have a Red Skull or Hydra agent yet, or I would have struggled to justify it. I'd say it depends on that, how much the Iron Man variant is going for itself, and how much you might use the pieces*shrug*

I was content to sit that one out, but after getting the Silver centurion I took the plunge.

The Iron Skull minifig is pretty good, the build of the sub is decent. The teeth up front are fun to construct, but it doesn't make sense for a sub to have a tiny cockpit and a big compartment for prisoners.

But I like it alright.

I got it on impulse. I had all the other Marvel sets available at the time. Before I wasn't really interested in it solely for its lack of new characters (felt this would have been a good chance to get an Attuma minifig to go with Hyperion). I guess I finally warmed up to the idea of at least having a new Iron Man suit.

I never built the sub personally as I had nowhere to display it so I offloaded it. The Iron Man minifigure is very nice though! Always love a new addition. I really liked Iron Skull too.
