Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 All you really need are plain red, blue, or black ones for most of them. The only tricky ones are for Hulk, Ultron, Green Goblin, and Captain Cold. The first three require specific legs while that last one has legs that are a bit harder to come by imo. Are there any Lego City workers with Cold's legs? And yes, those three will be hard to find. Especially following the demand that will surely arise from these. Quote

Ceroknight Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Yea not a fan of any of the Racers really. Which is good because I can save money for other sets! Having said that, I am not a fan of either the Red Skull Sub set or that Avenjet think. Thanos unfortunately is not worth that the rest of that set I think. I'll just wait for him in Infinity Wars. Legocity2713 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) You're right! Sadly, it's a little late for that now. Check local retailers and mom and pop shops, some of mine still carry Simpsons Series 1. There is also the Lego Dimensions pack if you wanna dish out $30 for legs. But remember, bricklink is your friend. Anyway, I think we're held over until March now. Let this cycle repeat itself when we get official pics. Amazing Bricks Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 I find it weird that they show a new face for goblin and there's some minifigures like red skull, ultron, and hulk that have no printing. Ultron is the one from the AoU quinjet but he's not going to have a new torso. Hulk is most likely going to be the one from the 2012 promotion. Red skull is not going to be the iron skull variant. Now cap and Spiderman are shown as previous variants. Which makes me think that's how they're going to look like. Quote

Amazing Bricks Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) Think about it, iron skull is coming out in a $30 set the same year these are coming out, they're not going to put him in a cheap set. Ultron has the light silver, sure they might want to make the quinjet still worth buying, but I think Lego will be nice to us and give us that light silver ultron cheaply. Hulk might be new, but why make a new hulk when there's a AoU polybag coming out this year? Edited November 15, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote

There are 3 Ultrons, and that one is only in the Quinjet and the SDCC set. It'd be nice to get him in a $10 set, but I'm not sure if Lego would do that. Do most kids care which one they get? Quote
rob-ot5000 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) Oh man, that Captain Marvel looks pretty sweet, though I'm not a fan of the sleepyhead hair with the masked head. Does the Mohawk hair exist in blonde at all?? EDIT: Guess I should've read the other 7 or so pages first! Lots more news! Thanks for all of that, everyone. And Aegis (reply below), thanks for that. It's a shame the blonde mohawk doesn't exist yet, but maybe we'll get it one day. Thoughts: I'm absolutely in for the Avenjet. The build is so-so, but I'll gladly take all those white parts for my Fortress of Solitude MOC, and I'm in for Capt. Marvel, Thanos and Hyperion. (If anyone is interested in Iron Man and Cap variants only, we should definitely talk, because I'm not.) There are minor quibbles, like the lack of dual-molded Hyperion legs, and the (possible/probable) lack of the Infinity Gauntlet, and yeah, CM's heads aren't perfect, but I am so excited to get these three in LEGO form and they still look fantastic! Carol's print looks awesome. I can't wait to see Hyperion up close. This whole set reminds me a lot of Darkseid Invasion: a ship that I don't really care for but with useful parts, and some awesome minifigs, though Hawkman was the only one I really cared about on that one. I'll most likely pass on the sub. No real draw, for me. Still undecided on the Racers. I'll probably pass on most of these since, for the ones I want and don't have already, better options for full figs are soon coming in many cases. Though the Spidey-GG set looks fun Can't wait for January. Between Superheroes, GB, and Creator, it's gonna be costly. Gotta love it! Edited November 15, 2015 by rob-ot5000 Quote

rodiziorobs Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 The Captain Marvel fig looks pretty good except for the mask-head. It looks unfinished and unrefined next to the detailed torso, and the hair on top really doesn't seem to match. Also, do we know if the fleshie-head has an alt-face? Otherwise she only has a single expression, despite having two heads to choose from. Quote

benderisgreat Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Just saw Mighty Micros pics and I am really dissapointed, really expected something better. Green Goblin is the only one that stands out as in interesting minifig of them all. Also Captain America has 2012 Avengers torso and head? Might just buy his set, since I missed out on 2012 Avengers sets. Quote
