Bricky Dee Williams Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Everything we know is in the first post. Sir Gareth confirmed a Dr. Strange set comes out in the Summer/Fall. I don't think we have any info on USM sets thus far, but it is very likely we get a few due to the character's popularity. Yes, I know. That was why I was puzzled. And if Spidey does indeed come in the later, fourth Civil War set, we may not get any USM sets. However, with the Sinister Six coming, they'd make for a great theme. Quote
Marvel_Geek Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 So, in J2G's Marvel 2016 Thoughts video, he said that along with the Doctor Strange sets, we're getting Ultimate Spiderman sets in the summer wave? Can anyone confirm and/or elaborate on this? It's been confirmed and wil be like the autumn wave from this year, where the movie set came out earlier than the Spiderman sets. Did anyone else notice that ghost rider's chain was on the edge of the screen when he is showing the release date? Quote

It's probably just from the Doctor Strange and Spidey pictures from the original Marvel Superheroes game. Quote

Take this with a grain of salt because this might not be right: I thought the same thing but the chain is from a picture of him that would be put on the game box, while Spiderman is the official minifigure and doc strange is from gameplay. Ultron Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 At least with the Thanos mold out of the way, now they don't have to waste some of the budget for Infinity Wars sets on him (other than the gauntlet). Unless they completely re-do him, which would be pointless. Quote

Edit: Same bigfig and mold. Quote
xboxtravis7992 Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I am kind of warming up to the Avenjet though... Being so chunky and so blocky it really is bringing back nostalgia for the Lego Town Space Port sets from the late 90's. I imagine it is the same way some AFOL's felt when they saw Benny's Spaceship; the Avenjet just looks like the stuff that was in stores when I first got into Lego. Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I'm not 100% against it. I think they did okay representing it to look like the show. Having not seen the show itself, I'm not sure if the top really does detach, it may just be playability. However, I see there may be a light grey hulk in back for characters to go in, and the design is kind of neat. However, do I really want another jet? Not really, but this new design, rather than a complete redesign, is welcomed to some extent. Although, with Black Oanther's jet coming, I don't know. We'll see. Quote

Unless they completely re-do him, which would be pointless. They could use the same mold since his MCU counterpart is pretty similar, but yeah, they would have to mold/print him in different colors with the more tech-y bits. The version we're getting doesn't look much like his movie counterpart, because the movie is much more muted and has more gold. Any of the rumor mongers know the nature of the Black Panther minifigure's head? Is it going to be a helmet like we've seen in the games or are they doing a printed head? Quote
KCMatze Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 ...or even just a Darth Maul-like headpiece. But no one knows for sure. Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 @tTheSilentShane Your picture isn't showing. Quote
Faefrost Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I remember hearing something about Ghost Rider in an ultimate spiderman set It could be. They have that flaming head piece now from Agents. Just put it on top of a skull head and Bang! Ghost Rider. So an easy to do distinct figure that could even eat up some leftover parts stock. Quote

However, the devilish biker would make an excellent official Lego minfigure, complete with chains, bike, and all! Edit: Yikes, post 666 with a devil! Ghost Rdier indeed. Ultron Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Honestly I don't think that flame piece works very well. It'd be better if there were flames trailing behind this head since he's riding a bike. Anyway, I think ghost rider was never a rumor, just someone's speculation. I don't even think ghost rider has been in that show Quote
NXS7 Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 He hasn't been, but he has been in Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. Hoping for Agent Venom should summer USM sets come out Quote

Does anyone know off-hand what set(s) this piece comes with? Or what the piece would be called on BrickLink? Maaaan, I would love an official Ghost Rider fig so much! Amazing Bricks Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 It comes from the ultra agents infearno interception set from 2014. Also, apparently there will be ultimate Spiderman sets in the summer. Think of white tiger and that new nadakhan/macy hair piece. Quote

It could definitely be used for White Tiger in the near future. Quote
