Why you all think Thanos doesn't has the Infinity Gauntlet? I think it's printed on his left hand, because we only saw the palm of that hand. Maybe that means it'll be printed on that hand. But if you saw other images of him, please correct me if I'm wrong. ( but it would be so cool if I'm right! )

Sorry to burst your bubble but... Not in any photos

If LEGO was going to give Thanos the Infinity Gauntlet, they wouldn't leave it out of all pictures, especially the front of box picture where they would add some digital light effects around his hand. It's really not something they'd leave for some part of him facing away from the camera at all times, which is why I think it's safe to assume he doesn't have it.

I see some digital effects on the box art:
  1. Lightning around Thanos that is protecting him against Iron Man.
  2. Most of the lightning is around his left hand.
  3. He smashes with his left hand against Iron Man. His right hand doesn't do anything.

I think these are some good arguments. :classic:

I am also pretty sure they are saving the gauntlet for the MCU sets. Theres a lot of effects going on, but also on his right hand - and there is obviously no infinity gauntlet... So, I doubt we get it (now.)

If he had the gauntlet on his left hand, they most likely would've inverted the picture so he was on the right side of the box with it facing outward.

Wait until we see the set description, I'm sure the whole power thing will be explained. I for one, believe this:

I'm very skeptical that there will be an Infinity Gauntlet included in the Avenjet Space Mission.

1.) If the Infinity Gauntlet was included Thanos would intentionally posed to display it.

2.) Lego need a reason to move future Thanos sets. It's not prudent to give away everything at once.

3.) It's likely that Marvel requested the Infinity Gauntlet to not be included due to the above reason.

I'm disappointed that the Infinity Gauntlet doesn't -seem- to be included but I am excited to have something to look forward to in 2017.

On a side note:

By a show of hands who would have preferred that Lego included the Sentry in this set instead of Hyperion?

I would've preferred Sentry, but the fact that we're getting Thanos is enough for me. I've already started working on his throne area, and making sure I have the infinity gems for him. The set is great, but even if we didn't get Hyperion or Captain Marvel I would still buy it for Thanos.

That Iron Skull set seems a little lackluster, not necessarily "bad", just not really worth buying, same goes for the Avenjet, the build is pretty satisfying, but not to die for. Lego did a pretty decent job on these sets, I'm just not exactly attracted to them, anyone else feel that way? I respect what Lego was going for, but it just doesn't excite me like other sets, respectable, but not buyable... just me?

I just wish we could have some more location-based sets. It'd be nice to not have to buy city sets to have a decent diorama. Hopefully that Civil War airport isn't terrible...I can just imagine the play features they're going to shove in our faces though. "Exploding watch tower" and another stupid mini jet build are what I'm feeling we'll see. :ugh: I'd love to be wrong though. Hopefully we get pics this month, like we did with AoU sets last year!!

Totally on you with that, it's understandable that Lego wants to appeal to a younger audience, but that doesn't mean they need to keep shoving out Jets and Cars and spaceships, and heck, even city isn't so much of a city as it is a giant garage full of criminals and awkwardly walled structures. I know it may be much but I would love if we were able to build our own "world" with each theme. My vision is the ability to create a diorama, a setting with backdrop and scenery galore with every theme we get, and yes I know that's unrealistic. But I think Lego should imagine a customer who will only buy from one theme, what kind of world will that costumer be able to create relying solely on the sets from that theme? Forget city and creator, what will I be able to do with the building blocks (literally!) that are given to me in this one theme, I believe each theme should be able to stand on its own, but maybe thats just me :shrug_oh_well: Edited by Freddy Bricker

I actually really like this sentiment. Crossing themes here, but this has always been a big annoyance with the star wars theme for me. Too many vehicles, not enough places to put them! I will say that we do get a semi-decent amount of location sets in Marvel, but there are so many cars and jets and helicopters that it gets annoying just to be buying them for the figures ultimately, who also are sometimes disappointments! (Glares at Captain America and all of the females with rehashed faces and hair  ). Either way, looking forward to the future of this theme. Also hoping leg printing and unique face printing will become a staple for every character down the line, like Star Wars.

Wait, so we're getting Ghost Rider? Geez...

I guess? Just2Good is always very sly with his hints. If it weren't for that winky face, I'd think nothing of it, but I suppose there is a grain of salt in there.

Well it's not officially confirmed, but it was hinted at in one of Just2good's recent videos. Then added to by j2g saying that it sounds ridiculous and giving a winking face.

It more of a rumor, no official info.

I'm also in the camp that the Avenjet set will not include the Infinity Gauntlet for the main two reasons discussed:

1) They would absolutely highlight this on the box

2) They need a "hook" / incentive for people to buy another version of Thanos in the future
