BrickBuilder3213 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 If I pre-ordered the Wii U version of Lego Marvel Avengers, will I get the Silver Centurion minifig? Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) Prices for the civil war sets? As I put a couple of pages back, panther jet is $30. That is confirmed, but don't know about the rest. Edited December 17, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote
tafkatb Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Hey, does anyone recognize the piece that forms the large printed surface of Giant-Man's face? it looks to be a 4x4 curved piece, but the only two heights I know of for that shape are either 1 brick high (in which case I don't think they would have us apply a sticker across multiple pieces) or 4 high (which doesn't look like it would fit inside his head). I was wondering that myself; I can only conclude it's an entirely new part, maybe 3 bricks tall? Quote
deskp Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 If I pre-ordered the Wii U version of Lego Marvel Avengers, will I get the Silver Centurion minifig? Depends on the store, you need to check for yourself at your store/site. Quote
TakeaBrick Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I don't know which piece it is exactly, but I am pretty sure when it comes to figures, Lego print those parts. @Elgard I hope you are right but I have bad feelings about this one. I feel like LEGO will once again skimp on those printed pieces for the giant man as usual. It will not be cost effective in the eyes of LEGO. So, I DOUBLE DARE the designers of the set. Don't you ever give us the much-despised stickers for the giant man. Or else, you will have my revenge. Quote
BrickBuilder3213 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Depends on the store, you need to check for yourself at your store/site. Doesn't mention anything on Amazon... Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Tragic Banjo is a really reliable source. Just look at his avatar. I don't know which piece it is exactly, but I am pretty sure when it comes to figures, Lego print those parts. Yes, let's hope. Although, I think he's toalking about 4x1 sloped pieces with the elevated underside. Quote
deskp Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Doesn't mention anything on Amazon... Then they don't have that offer, depending on where you're shopping(country) different stores might have it. europe usually gets in packed into a special edition not a pre order bonus in certain stores.. Bricky Dee Williams Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I was wondering that myself; I can only conclude it's an entirely new part, maybe 3 bricks tall? Ay, nevermind. If I pre-ordered the Wii U version of Lego Marvel Avengers, will I get the Silver Centurion minifig? Yes, as long as you pre-order it from GameStop. Prices for the civil war sets? Crossbones' Hazard Heist; $20 Black Panther Pursuit; $30-$35 [Airport]; $80-$90 Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) I was wondering that myself; I can only conclude it's an entirely new part, maybe 3 bricks tall? I wanna say it's two of the curved 1x4 slopes with a sticker over both of them. I also just noticed, no Hawkeye? Maybe he comes with the Spider-Man set. Edited December 17, 2015 by CM4Sci Quote

NXS7 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Oh my goodness just realised. Bucky was flying that (unnecessary) Quinjet. Not Agent 13 or Scarlet Witch. Breaking the chain of female only pilots :D Quote
TheSilentShane Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I think if Giant Man is all stickers it'll kill my interest in the set. I hate stickers with every fiber of my being and refuse to put them on my sets. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 (edited) If we do get zemo, I'm sure he won't have anything new except a new torso. Lego will just give him a repeated face and that Tony stark hair. Also it's kind of weird that they didn't make falcon have a silver torso and arms. Light grey just seems off, but the dark grey legs make me wish we got a dark grey torso. Edited December 18, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote
Aethersprite Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Those sets look incredible. I'm buying them all! Hopefully the new Quinjet has a decent interior, like the 2012 version and the Milano. Quote
djmangunz Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I typically HATE brick build figures but that Giantman is amazing! The Quinjet is a bit redundant but to be fair, in comparison to its predecessor, it seems to be the size of fighter rather than the transport that the Avengers Quinjets were. I am sure that the size is due to sharing the brick count with the tower and Giantman. At least it is somewhat of a different shape and size as the others. I'm not really feeling Panther's jet or Crossbone's truck, but to be fair, Lego only can work with what they are given from the studio. Mini-figures are definitely going to be the driving force behind these purchases. These sets are coming out in March, correct? Quote
Falconfan1414 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Yes i really like these sets the airport set is a amazing set. Definitely in talk for best superhero set of the year so far. Ugh my only complaint is arm printing for falcon mainly short sleeved but overall great wave of minifigures Quote
agoodfella77 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Are those picture from the final catalog? I'm disappointed that we won't be getting the Iron Man Mark 46 variant (or what looks like the Bleeding Edge in the Trailers). It looks like they are re-using the AoU Mk 45? Quote

Yes, Iron man's torso and legs are new. They don't resemble the bleeding edge armor that great though. Edited December 18, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote
Rookie875 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I'm not completely sold on the sets yet. Anyways it looks like there is some wand-thing behind Cap in the airport set, what could it be? Quote
LegoPercyJ Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 War Machine is fighting Giant Man. With a stick. Or is that a weapon in the movie I didn't know about? Quote
NXS7 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 War Machine is fighting Giant Man. With a stick. Or is that a weapon in the movie I didn't know about? I heard a confirmation like ages ago that he would have a detachable battle hammer in the movie. But that ain't no battle hammer. This came with the source that confirmed Falcon would have his Redwing drone, which I think in the set may be able to attach to his wing pack Quote
Ceroknight Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Wow a lot of parts of the Civil War sets are laughable Giant man looks cool though. I'd rather have them introduce new characters than include Cap and Bucky twice. Don't like that Falcon figure as well. Quote
