Well this is how we got confusion in the first place!

Look it's not that i don't like riddles and confusion  but if it comes from the most trustworthy people it's hard to say if they are just speculating, or really giving us info.

I trust Tragic Banjo, J2G, Gareth and the other insiders a fully 100% but posts with the Winkyface are just confusing.

When they are giving hints, is there some sort of strict guideline that they have to follow that they can't give info? Or do they just like to toy with us  (Wich is fine by me, i mean i can wait)

Yeah, they're just "toying" with us about Lego.:grin:

Uh, nobody's saying you can't discuss this stuff. My initial reason for asking was that Winter Soldier has previously claimed that things were confirmed that most definitely were not confirmed. By all means, I want to discuss rumors; I just want to know which things are actually confirmed and which things are still just rumors.

Brilliant, this is almost exactly what I was going to reply with. I surely didn't/don't mean to insult or offend anyone, or suggest that I don't enjoy the rumors and discussion, but we should be more careful saying something is confirmed when it isn't.

Depends on what you consider 'confirmed.' If 'confirmed' means it's been stated or shown in official Lego documents that we can all access, then no, not confirmed. I consider information that comes from our trusted sources so be as good as confirmed.

Well, I think there's a spectrum even within there; if, for instance, Just2Good were to say *, "I can guarantee that we will get an MCU Spider-Man in a fourth Civil War set," then yeah, I consider that confirmation. But when someone says, "Spider-Man's a given," even if they've previously given us good information, I don't know whether they're commenting on Lego's overuse of the Spider-Man figure, or speculating, or if they have an actual source for that claim.

*Please do this.

Absolutely! I've been on the site long enough to recognize that some certain members do have their connections and inside info. If they say it's confirmed, I'll believe it, and I'm happy to use the word "confirmed" in the discussion from then on, as I feel it would then be appropriate enough, but "confirming" something based on an ambiguous sentence confuses everyone. I'm all for rumors and discussion! Hell, that's why I'm here! And sure, given TLG's track record, Spidey probably is a given, but not confirmed.

For those of you confused, I've never confirmed spiderman. That was trajic banjo saying "Spidey is a given." I trust him. When i put something on here, i get straight to the point.

Much appreciated, too!

Anyway, merry Christmas, everyone!

There's a Spidey set with Ghost Rider. If I had to bet, it will come with a bike, since what else would Ghost Rider have?

A crane. Just like that AWFUL second movie

ARRRRRGGGG GIVE IT TO ME NOOOOOWW.

There's no rational basis for this, but Ghost Rider has always been one of my favorite characters. I'm sure we'll probably see that cool flaming head piece from Ultra Agents, which is nice since I missed that set on the first go-round. And yeah, if there's no motorcycle, something has gone very, very wrong.

Ha, After the first movie, I didn't even try to sit through the second. Kudos to you, I suppose, for your fortitude!

Although ghost rider wasn't in the Ultimate Spiderman show, I don't mind that all. Now the big question is who's the villain of the set?

Well, let's see..... SATAN! No? Yeah, didn't think so. :sceptic:

Well see. Anyone's guess is as good as mine, but that'd be specualtion so let's not.

Wait, is Ghost Rider confirmed for next year?

Well, J2G has trusted sources and he gave a hint in one of his videos (as did another member here on Eurobricks) that we should be seeing him next year.

No, that´s not gonna happen

RE: See above.

Ghost Rider is confirmed. Don't debate it please, I can tell you with complete confidence that a Spidey set with Ghost Rider is in the summer wave.

Awesome! I'm curious, hope the villain is new.

YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

If I had to guess villain, I'd say either Nightmare or Mephisto. Someone or something mystic

Mysterio is a more likely option to have, plus Nightmare and Mephisto aren't really child sensitive, cos remember LEGO primarily targets these towards kids. And us

Maybe Mysterio?? It is a Spider-man set after all and he is pretty mystical! Mephisto or Nightmare would be cool too though.

And what with the new Sinister Six cartoon, I'm sure both he and Ghost Rider could make an appearance!

I think I have the perfect candidate for that set, kraven the hunter. He is so easy to make for Lego. Anyways this is speculation.

He seems to be a given to be included somewhere in the summer wave. He is part of the Sinister Six in USM and he and Lizard are the only 2 we don't have. But I still think Mysterio is an option since Ghost Rider is also not in the show
