kevkipo Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I've been looking closely at CW sets for a while and it looks like Caps shield is still bright red color instead of dark red. In movies his shield is dark red, and his shields color is more of a problem for me than his super tanned and smiley face. Why can't Lego make his shield in dark red again if they have already done sone in original Avengers sets? How is that a problem? they made it in Dark red, just Bricklink a couple of them if you want to have multiple. Quote
benderisgreat Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 How is that a problem? they made it in Dark red, just Bricklink a couple of them if you want to have multiple. What I am trying to say is that I don't understand why would Lego switch to bright red in the first place. Besides his shield looks better in dark red. Quote
gamejutzu Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) What are you talking about? What do you want to tell us? Long ago, on Youtube I heard that an official Green Goblin set was in the works. I thought it would finally be the time they made a game translation of Green Goblin. But nope. I do admit, he looks better than he did in Juniors though. For one, game designs are never used because they're created when LEGO themselves don't have designs. They always make their own. And LEGO simply won't make a new figure when they already have one that's perfectly good. Except... The game's version is better... What they have right now is this: Many people will agree when I say that ^that^ is not better than LMSH's translation. That thing is too... Unnececarily kid friendly. They would obviously buy it for Spiderman anyway. LMSH's eyes, torso, and even shade of purple used is better than here. I'd just love to know why it wasn't used. I suppose if there's a legitimate official Green Goblin in a set, I can still hope... Edited January 12, 2016 by gamejutzu Quote
8BrickMario Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I guess we can agree to disagree, because I've seen the darker-colored Goblin. While perhaps the face isn't as evil as it could be, I still like the minifigure and think they did I good job. Quote
IMBATMAN Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Quick question (sorry if this is off topic), but for Captain Marvel, should I use the sleepyhead hair or Supergirl's hair? I'm on the fence about using either one. Thanks! Quote

IMBATMAN Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) The Lego Marvel Game just announced that the PS4 and PS3 versions would be getting a free Ant-Man and Civil War pack (dang it tt games ). However, they have also provided screenshots from the Civil War DLC which may give us the best look we have had at these characters IMO Iron Man, War Machine, Falcon and Wanda look amazing Edited January 13, 2016 by IMBATMAN Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I think War Machine looks better now. Quote
JaseTJ Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Unfortunately I don't think Falcon's wings will actually bend like that. To me, anyways, the piece in the set looks more like the wings on comic falcon that were a single solid piece. Quote
strangely Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I did not even realize Scarlet Witch had a cloth element. That looks pretty perfect. Quote
Butterfingers27 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I am still not sold on Cap's new hair. Quote

N_Cat Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I did not even realize Scarlet Witch had a cloth element. That looks pretty perfect. It doesn't look like she does in the catalog images. There's an outside chance Lego added one since the Catalog was released, but it's more likely that TTGames just added it for the game. I wouldn't count on getting one because of this. Quote
strangely Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Looking closely at the catalog pics again I think I do see it trailing behind her. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) She has some sort of cloth piece in that set, that's for sure. Crossbones look different, but his torso is good: http://vignette4.wik...=20160113143620 Best look at agent 13: http://vignette4.wik...=20160113143431 Edited January 13, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote

Butterfingers27 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Fixed them. Awesome, thanks! Can I ask where the pictures are being published at? Quote
Quicksilver Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 The Bleeding Edge looks amazing in that photo. Also, on the first page, in the Airport Superhero Battle Set, when the image is enlarged, it looks like Scarlet Witch has the cloth element in her physical version. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Did anyone see J2G's new thoughts video on the Civil War sets? Exclusive looks at the figures in better detail including Falcon, Captain America, Winter Soldier, and Iron Man. Quote
Thelegodan Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Happy they gave Winter soilder a new arm. It looks fantastic. To bad he doesn't have a new face though Quote
ChubbyMcPorkin Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Just 2 good just posted a new video with High res photos of the Civil War sets! Quote
Jbricks Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Falcon's face and wings look great! Angry Chris Pratt face suits Winter Soldier OK, but he'll have to be always angry and Star-lord always happy :/ Quote
