Legocity2713 Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Looking at it again, they do have the same legs. Oh, and the mark 43 helmet is being reused... I don't mind that all too much because it is basic yet detailed. Perfect to put on your current Iron Man figs that need more detail, ex: Mk 8, Mk 7. Those two black line and outlines work wonders. (If anyone wants to do that, Lego has an AoU Iron Man MK 43 magnet with a removable helmet. Not too bad if you want a few of that piece) Quote

Amazing Bricks Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 I need a closer look at black panther to make my final judgement on him. Personally, I'm not bothered by the Darth maul looking horns piece. Although the silver on him is a bit dramatic. It's disappointing that Hawkeye isn't even in these sets. Quote
Felkin Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 It's disappointing that Hawkeye isn't even in these sets. Agreed, although if he's not in the Civil War sets, maybe we'll get him included in an Avengers Assemble-based set in his classic costume. "Infinity War part 1" doesn't come out until 2018, so I imagine we might get some classic comics versions of the Avengers this year or next. Quote

It mainly seems dramatic because he has no leg printing so it's just rather "abrupt" going from all black to black+silver. Really wish leg printing was a standard on these figs it's annoying. No Hawkeye and Vision are definitely disappointing. As I said before, Hawkeye easily could've been in the BP set instead of Bucky and I'm sure an updated Vision being squeezed into the Airport battle would've made it even more desirable. Amazing Bricks Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 I understand we're not getting vision because we just got him as a new character last year, he is the major selling point of the AoU quinjet. I wouldn't expect Hawkeye in a set, but available in a promotion ;) Quote
KCMatze Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Does the new Quinjet variation mean, that the "old" one will retire very soon? That would be such a short lifespan for the set, wouldn't it? Quote
Ultron Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 I wouldn't expect Hawkeye in a set, but available in a promotion ;) So like this years S@H superhero promo or a TRU type poly promo I'm assuming? Quote

Falconfan1414 Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Could that poly bag actually help support the rumor that we are getting martin freeman's character in the 4th set? Quote
Legocity2713 Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Could that poly bag actually help support the rumor that we are getting martin freeman's character in the 4th set? I legitimately have no idea why anybody wants his character to be a figure so bad. No toys of him have been so far and I don't expect them too. They said he would be introduced briefly in this movie and expanded on later on, but to the point where he gets a figure, why? Quote

Actor Builder Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Yeah and we didn't get Klaw and he had a similar sized role And we didn't get Snoke and I want more Andy Serkis LEGO. Quote
NXS7 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 And we didn't get Snoke and I want more Andy Serkis LEGO. I can see why we don't have Snoke, but I think I remember someone saying Martin would have a link to Black Panther. Maybe if his movie has sets, we could see him as a figure. And maybe Klaue (the Klaue which should have a robo hand, although Ultron destroyed the wrong one in the film!) Quote

Well, if there's a link its between Martin and Ulysess Klaw. He's the Prime Minister, the one buying missiles from Klaw in AoU. That could be a connection, but I really feel he does not yet warrant a place in a set. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 HothBricks' Flickr page has all of the Civil War set box picture, including the backs. Enjoy! https://www.flickr.com/photos/hothbricks/ Quote
Falconfan1414 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 (edited) Does tony not have a black eye in the airport set? Also what is up with the yellow eyes? Edited January 15, 2016 by Falconfan1414 Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 (edited) War machine has Cyborg's face... I don't understand why they couldn't use his face from the Iron Man 3 sets. Black Panther looks amazing now, not as much silver as we thought. Edited January 15, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote

DarthPotato Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Yeah, I don't get why they'd change War Machine's face when the old one was pretty much perfect. Does LEGO outsource prints? Because the Iron Man 3 sets have been retired now, so maybe it was cheaper to reuse a head with a darker skin tone that they already had in production? Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Scarlet witch does indeed have that skirt, so that's a plus. Quote

Borex Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I'm afraid that giant man is completely stickers and no prints. I never am that good with stickers :-( Plus i think we need to improve that hole in the hip (with some plates or something). The new falcon is great too. I'll switch his legs for light grey because i think it'll look more superheroey. Black Panther is also very fancy. And i totally see his headpiece being reused for daredevil. They even are more shaped as horns than ears. (There is also a rumored cmf demon that could use these horns) Crossbones looks a bit plain to me. I think it is the legs. There is not so much legprinting going on for this series :-( War Machine looks great. Wanda not so much. I dont like her movieversion. It's dull. Quote
