Bricky Dee Williams Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I've heard about a repeated villain being in some of the ultimate Spiderman sets Lest it be a non-Juniors/ non-Racers/non-big-fig Green Goblin, which would be nice! Quote
Pulp Detective Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I've heard about a repeated villain being in some of the ultimate Spiderman sets, it's been hinted to be electro (updated) We just have to wait and see. If that's true I hope his appearance won't be based to that god awful classic green and yellow costume,I would rather get something similar to his ultimate version. Quote
Ultron Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 If that's true I hope his appearance won't be based to that god awful classic green and yellow costume,I would rather get something similar to his ultimate version. We've already had that...twice. Quote
JaseTJ Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Not that we didn't all see this coming, but I was looking through the Lego Avengers game's characters on some wiki... Scroll down to White Tiger Black Panther headpiece and that new ponytail from the Djinn guy/knight Macy. Even if Amazingbricks hadn't confirmed her, I'd say this would be about enough proof on it's own. (That they used existing pieces in a game rather than just making the character with new virtual molds) Quote
Falconfan1414 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Could we get a mech for electro? As crazy as that sounds he did have something similar to it during the web warrior tv special if I remember correctly Quote
N_Cat Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Hey, I was looking at photos of the Space-Suit Iron Man from the Avenjet set, and I noticed he has cool light-colored areas within his Arc Reactor and on his eyes. They look really, really good, but from photos, I can't tell how they're done. Is it just areas where they've the print off, or is it a print pattern Lego could do in the future on non-white figures? Legocity2713 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Could we get a mech for electro? As crazy as that sounds he did have something similar to it during the web warrior tv special if I remember correctly I remember watching that and thinking, huh, Electro in the Lego Ideas Exo Suit would look pretty accurate. So, a mech stands a good chance of being in the set. :) Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) I don't really know if I would want an Electro mech. I would have to see pictures of the one from the T.V show which I have been looking for but can't find. Edit: 100th Post! I am an official Eurobricks Citizen!!!!!!!!! ToaDraco Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Personally, I'm not a big fan of Electro so I'd rather it was someone else like Mysterio, Vulture, Scorpion, or even Kraven the Hunter. We've already gotten Electro before but we haven't had any of these guys yet. The Ultimate version of Electro is a pretty boring character design, I mean he's basically a blue naked bald dude. Designs like that just don't translate well in minifig form without looking extremely bland, although I must say the trans blue limbs of his previous incarnation were a nice attempt by the designers to liven it up. Just think, cool helmets and armor and even a neat tail for Scorpion. I'm not yet caught up on Web Warriors but it seems like many are assuming these sets will be based off of episodes that have already happened as opposed to episodes that will air later this year. I would think it's the latter, right? Quote
d-delay Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I'm pretty sure almost all the USM sets have nothing to do with the show other than using their characters. So there is little point trying to identify an episode that a set might be based off. We've never seen a spider copter, trike or most of the team ups suggested by the sets. So don't over think it. Just enjoy the character selections that they pluck out of the show randomly ;) Quote
Borex Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 My guess for the repeated villain is also green goblin. Classic green goblin for the bridge of course. That's classic spidey history. But i quite like the juniors version so i hope it's a comics electro. That yellow and green outfit is boss. I cant even take people seriously if they say they like the ultimate version better. Quote
Pulp Detective Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 We've already had that...twice. I know what you mean but I missed both of them (polybag and set) and if the rumors are true about electro being in the set I would rather have his ultimate version. Quote

If they had Gwen and the Green Goblin in the bridge set I'd be very happy. Electro does factor heavily into both the ongoing Web Warriors comic series and the WW season of USM so I can definitely see him being used though. Quote

You could just buy them on bricklink, neither versions are very expensive. I'd rather not get into batman territory where Lego keeps giving the same exact villains over and over. At least have it be a new variant if we are getting him. Classic electro would be helpful for people who want a classic sinister six Quote

JaseTJ Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I already said that when the picture for Black Panther was found... There was plenty of speculation on the matter, I just meant to confirm it. If the picture of White Tiger from the video game has been around/mentioned on here, then I missed it. Quote
PickleManDan Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 If we are getting an Electro, I hope that we get a classic Electro because I'm not very fond of the Ultimate Electro. Quote
Quicksilver Posted January 23, 2016 Author Posted January 23, 2016 Found this image while browsing the web and its a (I think) a new look at White Tiger. And if there was any doubt we weren't going to get her this summer there was this quote from Arthur Parsons "As soon as we saw that Lego was creating an official minifigure for [White Tiger], we were excited to get her into the Lego Avengers." I believe that basically confirms her appearance in the game to be the same as her physical minifigure. Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I haven't seen that picture before. I think White Tiger looks really good so I'm exited to see that Doc Ock set. Quote
JaseTJ Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Yup. Much better picture than the one I'd seen (blurry, from behind). Looks like a good figure, I hope the rest of the set is worth it's price point! (Do we have prices for this summer wave? I know the 2 DC sets coming out are both rather expensive, with no smaller end of the wave from the sound of things...) Quote

JaseTJ Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Not bad... Unfortunately your signature is all too true :P Nearly $200 for the Marvel summer wave alone, and another $200 for the DC one... Not to mention, what, another $150-200 for the Civil War Sets? And I've already started getting the BvS... Ugh. Why, Lego? Stop being so good to us all of a sudden! :P Quote

The dollar is down, more taxes and oh don't forget to add $10-$20 to all the prices you guys post here Also I watch the USM and Doc Ock had a really weird mech suit... Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 That's her season three and onward look http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Ava_Ayala_(Earth-12041) She's gonna look odd next to the rest of the team! Unless they update Iron Fist and Nova. Quote
