namioik Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Overall this is the best Spiderman wave we have gotten, and it might be the last Ultimate Spiderman wave with Spiderman's new movie coming out next year. That may not be the case. We gotten both avengers cartoon and avengers the movie sets before (not in the same year of course) but the movie wouldn't kill the cartoon series based sets for good Quote

I am sure we will still see USM sets though, I mean they didn't bring anything ASM related out did they. Quote

I am sure we will still see USM sets though, I mean they didn't bring anything ASM related out did they. ASM wasn't part of the MCU, so there wasn't much of a reason to make sets for it. Even still they produced a Spider-Man variant (Comic-Con) and Electro from that series. As for the next movie it will be part of the MCU, so odds are decent we'll see a tie in of some sort. Quote

We may, or may not, see movie spider-man sets next summer, but seeing as how Disney did still merchandise the ASM movies, I think we will Quote
Butterfingers27 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I gotta say, I picked up the Lego Avengers game yesterday and got the Silver Centurion with it, and it may be my favorite armor. That is, until the Mark 46 later this year (that being the one I am most looking forward to). Quote
NXS7 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Most of the sets now feel like they're becoming more comic based. Unless in the new season Carnage returns, Sandman and Rhino team up at a construction site, Ultimate Spider Woman and Scarlet Spider Ben appear, Spidey teams with Ghost Rider to fight Hobgoblin and Doc Ock and Vulture use a mech to fight Cap Stacy. Cos none of this feels like the show. Designs (Scorpion, Hobby, Vulture) are defiantly comic based, plus the classic Green Goblin. Also that Spider Man vs Venom poly bag purely said 'Spider Man' not 'Ultimate Spider Man' I finally feel some release now, knowing they're comic based, I'm ok with getting Reilly over Kaine. Still want him like mad tho Quote
strangely Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Do we have a release date for these sets yet? Quote
Butterfingers27 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Also, did anyone notice that the new Tony Stark face w/ the Silver Centurion has a connected mustache? If this is the face they use in the CW sets, I may need multiple new heads... Quote
YellowCorvette Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Am I the only one here who think that the bridge in the Spider-Man bridge fight set looks a little bit messy? I know that a bridge battle between 3 superheroes and 3 villains will cause some serious damages to the bridge, but still....... Aside for that, I think that the Spider-Man bridge fight set is a fantastic set to have! Quote
wideawakewesley Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 These Lego Marvel and DC Superheroes Micro Sets are cute. Do you guys know what version of Spidey this is? It's not MCU I assume? Quote
rob-ot5000 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 These Lego Marvel and DC Superheroes Micro Sets are cute. Do you guys know what version of Spidey this is? It's not MCU I assume? It's just a cartoony version of the comic Spidey. The cartoony aesthetic is one of the main features of the Mighty Micro line. They all have silly expressions, larger logos, short legs, and no muscle-printing. Quote
strangely Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I'm glad videos are starting to drop, now we just have to wait for the Marvel stuff. I'm interested to see the details of the bridge set. We've yet to really see it from another angle. Quote
Hoth Rebel Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Anyone got an idea how to make 1 complete bridge out of the 2 bridge sets? I'm more a collector of sets, but the bridge set makes me want to buy two and add them together. Only I've never done anything like that. Quote

There must be a way built in already, like the Black Gate set. I'm sure there are connectors at the end or something. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Someone (I forget who) was talking about the studded part of the bridge where Aunt May is standing. I think I can see is a trap door piece there to drop a vehicle or person down into the hollow "support" section of the bridge below with Spider-Man's webbing. Quote

8BrickMario Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Followed up by Aunt May Mech set I actually want that. Holding a purse, shaped like a Small Car, and a cookie bombing feature! Quote

I'm more a collector of sets, but the bridge set makes me want to buy two and add them together. Only I've never done anything like that. I was looking at it, and you may need more pieces than found in just two copies. The bridge is a suspension, and as such needs (Or at least would look better)to have the cable segments go from tower to tower as well as from the towers to the ground. It looks like there are only enough in each set to go from the one tower to the ground. You might need to bricklink some more pieces for the cable. Quote

8BrickMario Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Alright, we need to petition LEGO now. No one messes with Aunt May! Quote
