I for one think we need to stop feeding this obviously fake rumor and get back to discussing other information that hasn't been confirmed by almost all our credible sources to be false.

HEY EVERYONE - when somebody comes along and is obviously tolling, IGNORE IT. You can use the report button, or just ignore it and I will notice. There are always people who want to be big players and make up information, but especially when it's so obvious, it's easy to spot and ignore. Trolls can't survive if ignored.

Thanks!

:snicker: , It's like i'm watching Animal Planet!

On topic of the CW sets, i'm glad we finally got a price point! 30-50 sounds good and could feature about 5 figs, one of wich being Spiderman (Come on he's a given)

Not only given, but also confirmed by Tragic Banjo! Looks like there's no need to buy any of the summer spidey sets other than the ghost rider set and buying other figs

False again, Spidey isn't even at the beginning of the movie, would love this to be true though!

They're also not in "The streets of Wakanda". They're in Nigeria in that scene.

Getting back on topic, now that we're getting Captain Marvel, I'm hoping we'll eventually get an Avengers set with Ms. Marvel.

Super agree. I ended up reading all of the Kamala Ms. Marvel books and loving them. She's a really good character and brings in a lot of the diversity missing, which LEGO is just starting to address.

Semi-related to Marvel, but check out the new Ghostbusters set. The blonde/yellow female hair looks like it might be good for Captain Marvel, and Chris Hemsworth's hair is the blonde version of the new Superman hair, which is what a lot of people wanted for Cap instead of the nugget color.

Anyone else irked that Lego is phoning in some of these new figures? Look at the new Ecto-1, those figures represent so much time and attention on the part of the designer...and here we get pyjama Spider-Man for the 20th time and figures that don't even get leg printing. Far too few - if any - of these figures have that 'knocked out of the park' quality that the silver centurion (for instance) have. Complacency is always a risk when, as a business, you start making the profits that Lego are.

Well i think that the likes of green goblin, hobgoblin and even scorpion with his new tailpiece are looking excellent.

Spiderman though does need a good update with dual legs and arms, printing on legs and arms and even a full headprint (they did it with halloween skeleton boy).

It's irrational, but I really dislike the caramel-colored hair for Cap, both in the Helicarrier and the upcoming Black Panther Jet. Of TLG's present color library, my preferred color is their dark tan. I'm currently using the Chase McCain hair for my unmasked Cap, but I didn't have a replacement for the future Superman hair mold. I think the new Chris Hemsworth hairpiece (in the Ghostbusters set) is regular tan, but I'll still use it over the orange from the Panther Jet.

When I'm being more level headed, I do acknowledge that both dark tan and "medium nougat" are accurate for Chris Evans, and it merely depends on the lighting conditions when deciding which it more closely resembles. I think it's just my attachment to his comics look that pushes me away from a red-headed Cap.

Nougat is accurate for MCU Cap; blonde would be more befitting a Comic-Accurate Cap.

This is the exact, irrational argument that I have had with myself for the better part of two years.

I must say i really felt the same way,

J2G uploaded the Ecto -1 video, so i tought that looks interesting.

4 New hair molds, Arm printing, Leg printing, and i believe there's more new stuff around the set!

Not that i'm dissapointed in Lego Marvel, not at all! (They nailed Hulk, Iron Man, Ultron, Thor, Hawkeye and Quicksilver in the AoU line for me) it's just that i'm quite interested why they don't do arm printing for the new Iron Man for example, and why they did do it for the polybag,

Just my 2 cents

Just to help people escape from trolls, anyone under the impression that Kraven the Hunter's 'Kingpin' head is not right, I would recommend trading the head for Bard the Bowman. It uses a serious and angry face and the facial hair is close-ish to Kraven (in comics)

Doesn't explain why Kingpin is now Kraven though ;)

Number of times Kingpin has appeared without his own minifigure: 2

I feel quite ignorant here, but what does this mean? Especially the "times appeared = 2" part?

Also, after giving us dual molded legs for Spidey in the Sandman/Rhino teamup, why do you think they went back to the older design? It seems an odd choice in the really big sets like the bridge.

I get the impression here that most people really love the dual molded legs, but do you prefer them over printed legs, and if so why? Have we had dual-molded AND printed legs before?

Can anyone point me to a reliable list of minifigs that have these advanced features, like arm printing, leg printing, dual-molding etc.?

Kraven has the face from Vic Hoskins in Jurassic World, who is played by Vincent D'onofrio, who plays Kingpin in the Daredevil Netflix series. Just a nice little Easter Egg for the hardcore Marvel fans ;)

Especially since the blonde one has TWO torsos. This Ghostbusters set has just fantastic minifigs, the only thing they don't have is dual molded arms (not that they needed them).

That's because a bunch of sites erroneously reported it was Wakanda. There are even men in Nigerian police uniforms in the set photos.

The same thing happened when Age of Ultron trailers were out and a bunch of sites said the Hulkbuster fight in South Africa was in Wakanda.

I know she's slated to appear in Avengers Assemble this season, so hopefully she will end up in the Lego line at some point.

I may be the only one on the planet who is fine with the Spider-Man fig. It's Spider-Man. He wears practically the same thing in every medium he appears in (unlike characters like Captain America and Iron Man, who change costumes frequently from movie to movie or show to show). It makes sense that they aren't trying to reinvent the wheel with his figure.

Well duh! I should have realized that. It's more that I didn't realize there was a Vic Hoskins fig from Jurassic World. True Believer here. So Kraven uses the Vic Hoskins face print?

Another item on my wish list is pictures of custom minifigs made with unaltered lego pieces. Knowing that there's a D'onofrio face print would be useful for that sort of thing. (Wait, facial hair, never mind).

Ok, I'm gonna get yelled at for off topic stuff, better stop!

Leslie Jones: "Do you even know what country you in?"

Bill Hader: "Of course I know what country I'm in."

Leslie Jones: "What country you in, huh, huh?

Bill Hader: "Africa."

Yeah, it's been confirmed though that the movie will feature at least one scene set in Wakanda. Chances are none of the Lego sets are "set" there, but that's where they've filmed in Nigeria. I know it's MCU talk, not this thread, but that's what the setting is for one battle, in a marketplace.

This is my own fan theory;

Black Panther is against Cap, but not with Iron Man. So if the film starts with Crossbones fighting the New Avengers in Wakanda, which he will promptly blow up, Panther will pin blame on Cap and want revenge.

Or he wants revenge on Bucky for something (maybe cos Bucky killed his daddy) so the film don't start in Wakanda

The scene above was shot in Atlanta, Georgia. So if there are cops in Nigerian police uniforms on set, it's probably because it's supposed to be in Nigeria. That's presumably the scene the Crossbones heist set is (very loosely) based off of.
