agoodfella77 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 (edited) It's irrational, but I really dislike the caramel-colored hair for Cap, both in the Helicarrier and the upcoming Black Panther Jet. Of TLG's present color library, my preferred color is their dark tan. I'm currently using the Chase McCain hair for my unmasked Cap, but I didn't have a replacement for the future Superman hair mold. I think the new Chris Hemsworth hairpiece (in the Ghostbusters set) is regular tan, but I'll still use it over the orange from the Panther Jet. When I'm being more level headed, I do acknowledge that both dark tan and "medium nougat" are accurate for Chris Evans, and it merely depends on the lighting conditions when deciding which it more closely resembles. I think it's just my attachment to his comics look that pushes me away from a red-headed Cap. Not irrational at all. Never understood the reason why they kept choosing an orange palette for Steve / Cap's hair. Edited February 6, 2016 by agoodfella77 Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 The scene above was shot in Atlanta, Georgia. So if there are cops in Nigerian police uniforms on set, it's probably because it's supposed to be in Nigeria. That's presumably the scene the Crossbones heist set is (very loosely) based off of. Thats right, I've seen the Falcon on-set video! Duh, I misread that. It has been confirmed moviegoers will be visiting Wakanda though..... Quote
Legocity2713 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Well, this thread really went down hill with a new account giving fake "news," all this talk about Wakanda, and even the Ghostbusters reboot being spoken of here. Its really all making for a confusing thread. We just got clearer set pictures for Civil War, the clearest ones in fact. Could nobody find a piece of discussion there? Or perhaps with the Spider-Man sets? Have we forgotten about them already. Not mini-modding, just frustrating to see 50 messages all having nothing to do with anything relevant. Quote

Or perhaps with the Spider-Man sets? Have we forgotten about them already. Er, um, how 'bout that Spiderman? He's in three sets and he still doesn't have those printed legs, but Lego will sell them to you for $2.22 a pop on Brics and Pieces....yeah, I tried. That initial hype for the Civil War sets got me thinking about that movie, and that set, and the minifigures that are yet to be had for the film. Quote
Battlinpanther Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Honestly, there's so much goodness in the Civil War line that I'm not sure what else I'd want. Quote
N_Cat Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Well duh! I should have realized that. It's more that I didn't realize there was a Vic Hoskins fig from Jurassic World. True Believer here. So Kraven uses the Vic Hoskins face print? Another item on my wish list is pictures of custom minifigs made with unaltered lego pieces. Knowing that there's a D'onofrio face print would be useful for that sort of thing. (Wait, facial hair, never mind). Ok, I'm gonna get yelled at for off topic stuff, better stop! I'd send you a personal message, but I doubt you can get them yet. Have you checked out the Purist Superhero Figures thread in the Customization Forum here on eurobricks? It's got tons of characters, including Kingpin. Quote
kevkipo Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 So Friday Toy Fair, anyone expecting anything preticular? Doc Strange? Maybe the 4th CW set!? Quote
Ultron Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Hopefully civil war..really anxious to know the figs and build Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 (edited) The Doctor Strange set is the most anticipated set for me. This is our chance to see the doctor strange set, hopefully someone takes a quick photo of it and posts it online. Edited February 6, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Spiderman might be reveled during the super bowl. In that case Spiderman's look won't be a spoiler anymore, so Lego could show the 4th set at New York toy fair. Quote

Spidey is going to be in Civil War a lot more then Luke was in TFA. One way or another we will see Spidey before Civil War is released. Maybe even through Lego.... Quote

With Age of Ultron, Vision was revealed by a small cameo in the third trailer. I would except a hint to Spidey in the next trailer (like a web) and a glimpse in the third. But keeping him under wraps as much as possible makes for the best reveal yet. Marvel could just go "k here's Spider Man, you'll get to see him more in 3 months" or they can let us wait and have that ultimate satisfactory feeling when we see him swing into action Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I don't know if anyone is still hunting for the Silver Centurion, but the prices have been rising during the last few days. It is possible it will drop and be more on par with other polybags once the hype is over, but it is also possible that the availability issues discussed before could have resulted in a lower supply. Coupled with the fact that many think this is the best Iron Man figure ever, this might become one of the most expensive polybags. It is too early to tell and the figure has barely been on the market for a few days, but I wanted to give anyone interested in purchasing one the heads up. Although the aftermarket prices right now are bad, they might become worse... Quote

I was saving for the game + figure but my mum got me just the game, cos she was able to get it free at Sainsburys (nectar points thing mucked up) so now im soul searching for this thing Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Coupled with the fact that many think this is the best Iron Man figure ever, Nah, I would say Mark 37 from the Iron Skull Submarine set is the best Iron Man armor. IMHO of course. Quote
Mapashote Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 (edited) Nah, I would say Mark 37 from the Iron Skull Submarine set is the best Iron Man armor. IMHO of course. Dual moulded and printed arms, full legs printing, dual moulded armor and that black eye. I think SC it´s for sure the best Iron man armor till date. I even believe it could be one of the best minifigures ever done. IMO of course Edited February 6, 2016 by Mapashote Quote
NXS7 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I might be the only one here, but does anyone else think there could have been a better armor for lots of printing. Not saying the SC isn't one of my favourite comic armors and a great figure, I love it Quote

Let's please discuss the sets and when Toy Fair comes, discuss the pictures, but not start speculating 'what will be shown' ahead of time. That's useless talk. Quote
