If you look closely at the set picture, the two diagonal red "V"s are still there. Given how similar the CW costume is to AOU Lego probably didn't bother making a new torso.

EDIT: Unless you're talking about the real costumes and not the minifigs. In that case, I'm wrong. There are no red V's on the CW torso

You're right. I didn't notice this before - both CW sets have Cap in his AOU costume. A little disappointing, considering that he has a new costume in CW. But I don't mind it that much; I love the AOU costume and I don't own any AOU sets!

About NYTF being completely useless this year - here's hoping that some websites (like FBTB) have video demos of the sets, as they have in past years. I'm looking forward to see the interior of the new Quinjet, although it looks to be pretty tight like the AOU one.

Ghost Rider Team-Up is $19.99, while the Doc Ock set is only $39.99! :excited:

Edit: Web Warriors Bridge Battle is $99.99!

Yay! That Doc Ock set seems much better at $39.99 rather than $49.99.

I was just about to say that. I feel like were are getting a lot for that price. We sure it wasn't a typo?

Nope, it's definitely $39.99.

It's also obvious now why LEGO chose to produce Ultimate Spider-Woman: Her and Scarlet Spider share the same headpiece, keeping prices down.

In a 1092 piece set for $99.99 USD, I suppose that is explainable.

You could remove the plate entirely and just not replace it.

But then won't there studs showing?

Actually I have an idea (but this is based off of lego marvel avengers which is fairly accurate). It looks like underneath the base jumper plate there seems to be studs (2x2 i think?) If so, then take a 1x2 plate and then place the grey stickered piece of the drone on top of said studs. Hopefully this works.

Why does Cap have his AOU torso in the BP set? Perhaps he changes costumes midway during Civil War, or Lego just wants to keep his Civil War costume exclusive to the airport set.

He ditches his AOU costume after the accords are introduced, probably just a way of indicating that

He looks like he's wearing the exact same costume throughout the movie. The only difference is that he removes the Avengers logos.

This is from the fight in Nigeria at the beginning of the movie.

If I had to guess why they used the AOU torso? The two look so similar that they probably didn't think anyone would notice. Even here, the first response was someone saying they thought the AOU and CW figures were the same one.

I think maybe this plate with the sticker from the little drone thing without the other parts could work:

Ooh, that sticker on a 2x2 LBG tile would be great! *oh2*:excited:

The stickers in the Spider-Man sets (especially the bridge and Hobgoblins set) are phenomenal! Highway signs, Daily Bugle newspapers, Goblin Nation flag!!!!

Sooooo useful!!!

Like I said, the most noticeable difference is the two red "V"s, which the CW one doesn't have. While I like the AOU torso, I'm disappointed that Lego didn't give Cap a movie-accurate torso, especially for a movie centred around him.

Wait wasn't the range of prices of the sets from that press release $13-$120? If the bridge is only $100 than what is the $120 set? Could it be the fourth civil war set since that's the only set that we know about and don't have a price for?
