Zergos Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 They all look so good!! Totally getting them all :) Quote
EdWebhead Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Love these sets! It looks like the bridge is already designed so that two could attach easily, which is great! Quote
TheBatstan Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 That Bridge Battle set is what I've been wanting ever since this line was announced! A Spider-Man line that had really impressive builds, and classic comic villain designs rather than the weird Ultimate designs! And Green Goblin.... Just take my money already Lego! Quote
Jay_Em Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Have they stopped printing legs or something? Virtually none of this year's new figures have leg printing. Looks a bit odd with the super-detailed torsos and heads. Sets look great otherwise. Quote
The_Duke Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Got lucky and scored this today. http://m.imgur.com/czSXJie The Falcon figure is well done. Crossbones is simply awesome. Quote

Lucky, that's the first set I'm getting on day one. Did you see the other sets? Anyone else finding these in the U.S? Quote
The_Duke Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Lucky, that's the first set I'm getting on day one. Did you see the other sets? Anyone else finding these in the U.S? No, it was the only set. They had two and that was it. If the airport set was there I would have grabbed start first. Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Spiderman's torso in the Doc Ock set is the same one as the one in the mighty micros. Quote
froggy95 Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 I'm disappointed in Scarlet Spider's torso. The spider print could've been a little bigger across the chest and centered. I know different comics have different representations of his costume. Quote
DarthBrickus Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Spiderman's torso in the Doc Ock set is the same one as the one in the mighty micros. It's the usual one on the box though. Good old Spidey-Pyjama *sigh* Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 (edited) Spiderman's torso in the Doc Ock set is the same one as the one in the mighty micros. I saw that in brickshow's video, but sadly, it's going to be the same old Spiderman torso. On the box, you can clearly see it's the old torso. It'd be neat if they decide to include the mighty micros torso in future sets. Edit: Ninja'd Edited February 13, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Dang it! I was really hoping for a different Spidey. Quote
benderisgreat Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 I love all summer Spider man sets, especially Hobgoblin one, since he is one of my favorite Spidey villains. Shame nobody took pictures of the other face expression. Bridge battle set at 100$ is a great deal , and supervillians minifigs are great. Love new Goblin face( looks like he is completely nuts, which he is) , arm printing is a welcome addition as well. Scorpion has completely new piece for his tail, definitely better than what I thought they used for his tail. And Kraven looks good too, and this reused face looks good on him, so no complaints there. Quote
Ceroknight Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 They look good! The stand out is still the Ghost Rider set though Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 What's with all the basic minifig designs? Winter Soldier is clearly a step down from the polybag too... Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 What's with all the basic minifig designs? Winter Soldier is clearly a step down from the polybag too... I agree, but the only reason winter soldier is a step down is because he has no leg printing. Other than that, he has the same look from the polybag. Quote
N_Cat Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 I agree, but the only reason winter soldier is a step down is because he has no leg printing. Other than that, he has the same look from the polybag. What? I mean, it's a completely different design! It's of a similar quality level, but it's a completely different look. Quote
benderisgreat Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Lego is really cheap with minifigs design in CW sets( except War machine and Scarlet Witch). Don't tell me they couldn't have made printed legs for Bucky and Panther, this minifigs look inconsistent without keg printing(especially Panther). And why Star Lords face? Couldn't they make a new one? Is it really soo expensive? I doubt it. Quote
DarthPotato Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 LEGO's been reusing lots heads and skipping on leg printing lately, but I'm pretty sure it's because they're sacrificing it for other things. While you have some figures with reused heads (Winter Soldier, Kraven, Captain Stacy), you get other figures with detailed printing all over and dual molded legs (Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Doc Ock). It's a shame that some figures like Black Panther don't get leg printing when they really need it, but I think LEGO has a limit with the amount of prints and molds they can do with a set or a theme as a whole. I never imagined Cap Stacy having a new head, he's such an obscure character. Bucky and Kraven are appallingly shocking. Also don't see why Bucky needs to have leg print, but nobody complains about Cap, Scarlet Witch, Ghost Rider or White Tiger. Bucky doesn't need leg printing Quote
Ultron Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 (edited) It's rather sad that only 2 figs from the Civil War sets (excluding Black Widow because she's a rehash) have leg printing. Do they have a low budget on movie sets or something...? The figs are almost always cheated on with reused faces and lack of leg printing. And it doesn't even make sense because the comic sets have tons of new prints and faces in comparison. I'm starting to not like the movie sets as much...they need to aim higher and give us leg printing and new faces like Star Wars. Hell, Lor San Tekka has a new face print when he's in the movie for maybe 1 minute total I get the SW sets probably have a higher budget but it just comes off as lazy to me. Bucky doesn't need leg printing Actually he had leg printing in polybag last year, and I can't understand why they didn't use that piece instead. Also Black Panther is the one who really needed leg printing to be consistent with highly detailed head and torso printing. Quote
CM4Sci Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Gonna guess Black Panther comes in the 4th set with leg printing, which also means it could be a higher priced set...? Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Gonna guess Black Panther comes in the 4th set with leg printing, which also means it could be a higher priced set...? If that happens there would be no reason to buy the Black Panther set. I don't think Lego would want to do that. Quote

Minifigure with leg printing (in order of year): Loki Iron Man MK 6 Iron Man MK 7 Hawkeye Black Widow Wolverine Deadpool Hulk poly bag Doc Doom Iron Man MK 42 Heartbreaker Mandarin War Machine Iron Patriot Storm Electro Doc Ock Star Lord/Gamora/Drax Star Lord Ronan Carnage Nick Fury Winter Soldier Iron Man MK 43 Iron Man MK 45 Hawkeye AOU Black Widow AOU Ultron MK 1 Ultron Prime Ultimate Ultron Iron Legion Scarlet Witch Silver Centurion Ant Man Ant Man Pym Yellowjacket Hulk AOU poly bag Spider Man Iron Skull Iron Man Deep Sea Iron Man Space Hyperion Captain Marvel Iron Man MK 46 War Machine Civil War Green Goblin Kraven Hobgoblin Doc Ock 2016 32 are from movies. 17 aren't. The Sea/Space IM armours kind of fall into both categories, so anyone can choose if they are movie or not. Also Winter Soldier poly bag is a bit of both (hence the double face) Edited February 13, 2016 by Quicksilver838 Quote
