So if this is the case and it is for the fourth Civil War set;

- Vision (Confirmed)

- Hawkeye (Speculated)

- Baron Zemo (Speculated)

- Spider-man (Speculated)

That sort of thing for the fourth set would probably make sense, though they'd need to add something else to tip the balance... probably along the lines of the rumored 'red hulk' or basically a villain to balance it out. Maybe rather than Red Hulk they just have Hulk given he's rumored to appear in the film also.

- I guess Zemo would just be a man in a suit

- Hawkeye would probably be his AoU version given Black Widow was not updated and she is his counter-part

- Spider-man and Vision would presumably be new versions

- Hulk (if included) would be his AoU version though perhaps without the Avengers symbol

- Red-hulk (if included) would probably be a new big-fig or a repaint of one of the other Hulk's

Given the timing of waiting, Spider Man has GOT to be confirmed.

Black Widow has now got a blank black costume. No detail. It's better off a repeat of AOU. Hawkeye is all new, just because Widow has lost the blue streaks on her outfit doesn't mean Hawks can go from black to purple

@scarillian I didn't confirm new vision. I was just joking about tragic banjos new vision photo. Sorry :(

Wel, that's how Tragic Bnajo gets his hints across, Vision is confirmed. Unless he was hinting at the rumored CMF series 17 "gem-headed android" minifigure I've heard about.

Or Tragic Banjo was hinting for the winter sets, Vision appears for the first time in the third season of AA. And Baron Zemo is also going to make his appearance together with his Masters Of Evil.

Any idea why only one Civil War set shown in S@H Europe?

I dropped Lego and e-mail about this to see what the deal was.. the response back was..

We can tell you that the sets that you are after, LEGO® set 76051 Super Hero Airport Battle and the LEGO® set 76047 Black Panther Jet are about to become available in our shop.lego.com. The official launch date was the 1st of March, this is why you have already seen the sets in places such as Argos, but don't worry because you will be able to buy them and build VIP points as well, since the sets will be shortly announced in our site, just keep an eye on our website, shop.lego.com, since they are about to be released.

That was on 3rd March though - so not exactly speedy!

Hulk isn't in CW.

The helmet/mask looks 'ok' its kind of like the enlarged Kylo Ren helmet in that it feels a bit like a bobble-head.

The wolverine claws dont fit for me - just looks odd. Black Panther has claws, but those are vibranium tips on the ends of his fingers to do a 'claw'

To each his own, I happen to think that the Darth Maul piece doesn't do justice at all to the Black Panther cowl. The claws (3rd party) have been cut down, but I suppose I could have cut them down even more. Thanks for your comments, feedback is appreciated.

I think one of the actor recently hinted in an interview that he actually was? Listing Mark Ruffalo as one of the "nice actor performance" to watch out for in CW. Maybe it was just a mistake on his part though.

And here I thought that we would get the 4th Civil War set in March too, and notice by checking the front page that it actually is listed as a summer set. What a sad day. :(

Anthony Mackie mentioned Mark Ruffalo along with Robert Downey Jr / Chris Evans/ Scar Jo etc doing some really good acting but then later back tracked and said he meant in general in the MCU. Be interesting to see if he pops up though! I'd assume not though with what happened at the end of AoU.

My understanding is that Thor and Hulk were left out of CW due (at least in part) because they'll be teaming up on the next Thor film.

Yep - another reason why I don't believe he'll be in CW. I think it was just a mixing up of words from Mackie. I think I'd prefer it that way too. We've already got a bucket load to watch/enjoy in CW. And wasn't it teased that Thor Ragnarok would include a story line for Hulk that we've always wanted?

Anyways this is all off topic. Nobody knows what the deal is with the 4th Civil War set until we get some solid news on it. Spider-Man would seem an obvious choice with him being hidden in everything and what with Tragic Banjo's Vision pic but that's about it?

A likely choice would be Iron Man or Cap. Hopefully a certain variant of the latter...

With less smiling.

Also, my 500th post :)

Yeesh, not every new avatar has to be a reference to a new figure, folks. You're not going to find out anything about the fourth set from me anyway; I'm actively avoiding learning more about it because I would like to be surprised by Spider-Man's appearance in the movie.

Same here. If I even hear a picture is released, bye bye phone for a month

D'oh! Like I said, as far as I can recall, it's been every profile pic since I joined, up until now, it would seem. No worries, but you can't be surprised that people would take it that way.

(BTW, if you chose it just because you're a fan of the Vision, you should check out the current comic series. It is quite interesting, with very solid writing and art.)

I'm actually pleasantly surprised with the Crossbones set. I replaced Falcon's arms with Storms and gave the rifle off the jeep (with a lightsaber hilt as a scope) to Bucky, although there may be spoilery reasons why it was included with Crossbones.

That response from Lego is terrible. It doesnt answer why they have not appeared and seems more like saying 'yes, it should be out, but they are not and we wont tell you why'

I'm pretty certain at this stage that Lego is delaying them appearing on the site so younger fans or parents confuse the AoU sets with the Civil War sets and end up buying them..

For example;

Airport Battle Vs Quinjet City Chase - which would you buy if you had the choice of both?

dZ93V6c.png

Facts of the matter;

- The sets are now over 6 days from their official release dates with no confirmation of when they will be made available

- The sets are clearly uploaded on the database, however not being made available for viewing the product pages or to add to bag

- Lego seems reluctant to given a straight-up reason of why the sets are not being released

Would love a scale armoured Cap! Openly welcome another Iron Man variant too.. can't get enough of those.

A chainmail armoured Captain America i feel is necessary. Why have a fairly movie-accurate Iron Man without a movie-accurate Captain America, doesnt make much sense. Though not so sure about another Iron Man variant in a fourth set, most the movie variants we have gotten for Iron Man are just red and gold, at this stage i'd rather see his other older suits be represented - though they probably would'nt fit in Civil War accuracy.

I happen to think that the Darth Maul piece doesn't do justice at all to the Black Panther cowl.

I dislike the Darth Maul style piece also, it makes the head seem longer and the noticeable bump between the two pieces look off-putting. Honestly they needed a Lego head piece with the horn pieces just sort of attached onto him and the stud connection on the top removed.

I am having a really hard time with this. First, I assume you mean scale mail, not chain mail. Second, I haven't seen any movie stills or promotional photos with Cap in his comic book scale mail outfit.

For example, in the Airport battle, he is wearing this and even in the battle with Bucky and Iron Man (presumably late in the film) he seems to be in the same outfit. An image search for "captain america civil war XX" where XX= chain mail, scale mail, or scale mail doesn't turn up anything.

Why does anyone think that Captain America wears scale armor in the movie at all? I saw the same early concept and promo art that suggested scale mail, but that was artwork on t-shirts.

Full disclosure, I don't like the scale mail armor in general because it is silly, but I can understand wanting an old school comic version with the scales on it.

If I am wrong, I am sorry and ready to learn. If not, let's stop talking about scale Cap in CW sets.

The website updater are incompetent. Simple as that. Since the 1st March they have been advertising the other two Civil War sets in the 'recommended for you' area, however someone has chosen not to make them publicly available so nobody can buy them. These sets were meant to be available about a week ago online and they have no excuses for why they are not.

Well what a response. That still didn't t answer the question. Funny thing is all of the sets are available already in the USA.

I guess I will have to take a look into the physical store later.

better?

Vision and Hawkeye are in this one but missing from the original. Did you edit this in or is it an alternative poster confirming(?) the other two characters? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CcjIVAqWwAESEBh.jpg:large

My point exactly, that is artwork on a t-shirt. May not even be properly licensed, we don't know anything about it. Definitely not a still from the film trailer or film promotional material. The Iron Man is clearly a drawing for example.

He has it on the LEGO boxes so I'm pretty sure it's confirmed for the movie. https://i.imgur.com/x4qvXLz.png

I'd love a scale mail armor on an old school variant, I'm sure I'm in pretty good company, but your point is well noted, it's unlikely that there is a version of this in CW...

Ok I really had a difficult time convincing myself to purchase the airport. I am so happy I did. This giANTman is amazing. Well done Lego. Swapped the old head for war machine. Looking forward to a fourth set.

It's a great set. Did you get 2 micro antman? Also what do you mean by swapping out the old head?
