CF Mitch Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Ok I really had a difficult time convincing myself to purchase the airport. I am so happy I did. This giANTman is amazing. Well done Lego. Swapped the old head for war machine. Looking forward to a fourth set. Same here, on all accounts. Didn't want to buy the whole set at first (mainly because of the -in my opinion- semi-useless Quinjet) but I did it anyway and I enjoyed building it. I also swapped the Cyborg head for the proper Rhodey head. It's the only CA:CW set I will buy now, though. Perhaps the fourth set will be interesting enough to warrant a purchase as well Regards, Mitch Quote
benderisgreat Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Just replaced Black Panthers legs with Zod's and Panther looks so much better! I can't understand why Lego didn't use these legs to begin with, they make Panther look consistent with awesome and detailed torso printing. But this made me question why Winter Soldiers doesn't have leg printing as well? He had nice leg printing in polybag last year why not reuse that piece? Quote

Buildingwon Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 (edited) It's a great set. Did you get 2 micro antman? Also what do you mean by swapping out the old head? Yes I got 2 micro antman. I swapped the ironman 3 warmachine head for the cyborg one I got the 2 antman in the second bag I believe. Edited March 8, 2016 by Buildingwon Quote
Green Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 (edited) So... to any Australians, I checked out my local stores for the Mighty Micros, and they were COMPLETELY stocked up on ALL of them except for the Hulk and the Flash ones. I'm slightly worried if those two sets have been purposely unreleased (or made limited in my case, as I live isolated) as they contain rarer and more sought-after characters. Anyone have any further insight on this, or am I just being paranoid? Edited March 8, 2016 by Green Quote
tafkatb Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Can't speak to the Australian situation specifically, but I have noticed the same thing here. However, it has nothing to do with anything being intentionally held back; those sets are just so overwhelmingly popular that they're selling out faster. Quote
linnormlord Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 He has it on the LEGO boxes so I'm pretty sure it's confirmed for the movie. https://i.imgur.com/x4qvXLz.png You have proven my point very nicely. Box art does not mean it is in the movie. Even the Lego toys don't indicate what's in the movie (remembers Mandarin driving a flame thrower car, Hank Pym suiting up in a darker suit for the final battle...) Scale mail Captain America does not appear in the movie. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 So far I have found all the micros in various stores, but some are selling quicker then others. I've seen slightly more of the Spidey/goblin in one spot which is odd I would think it be the most popular! That and the bat/cat micro are the first and probly only ones I plan on getting Quote
agoodfella77 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Scale mail Captain America does not appear in the movie. One can always dream! Who knows, it could appear in some form perhaps in the after credits.... Quote

Scale mail Captain America does not appear in the movie. Lego box art shows the characters in the costumes they wear in that specific movie/tv show or anything else. I'm not saying that the scale mail armor WILL appear, but I think after seeing that image it's very possible. I think that the unknown polybag exclusive could be scale mail Cap. I wouldn't expect yet another Cap in the 4th set. They should leave that open for new character variants (updated Vision, updated Hawkeye, MCU Spider-Man, Baron Zemo). Quote

What I should have said is: There is no evidence that scale mail Captain America appears in the movie. We can hope he does, but there isn't anything concrete that shows us that he does. I am starting to sound really negative, and that wasn't my intention. I'm going to stop now. I am just as eager as anyone to find out what the 4th CW set that the 5xxxxxx polybag will be! Quote

There isn't.....yet. I don't think we have seen anything in the third act of the movie, which is presumably where Zemo shows up. It's logistically possible that he, ScaleMail Cap and Spider Man all pop up in that 4th set. Quote

There actually is, i've seen 4 Promo Pictures in total with Cap's scalemail suit, next to the T-Shirt art that is. Let me see if i can find it. Quote
Captain Nemo Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Let me see if i can find it. And then not post it here. Remember everyone, this is not the thread for movie discussion. Whether it's inaccurate or not, we have the Lego Captain America we have. Let's focus on the sets, and not the still photos please. Quote
HawkLord Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Considering that Cap appears in four new sets this year and an upcoming polybag, I'm good on not seeing Cap for awhile. No matter what kind of outfit or armor. Quote

Ultron Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Anyone had any ideas on how to improve Crossbones? I said this a few pages back, but Syndrome from the Disney CMF series may have legs that would work quite well. Overall I think black pants would probably look better. I wonder if he would look dumb with an Ultron Drone helmet on. Quote

The Ultron helmet hides ALL the skull away. It looks OK with the eyes, but the only bit of skull shown is the tiny bits of lines at the bottom Quote
