I said this a few pages back, but Syndrome from the Disney CMF series may have legs that would work quite well. Overall I think black pants would probably look better. I wonder if he would look dumb with an Ultron Drone helmet on.

Well I did Crossbone with Ultron helmet...and bodygear...But after I get original Crossbone (today:) I used only helmet and hawkeye legs but photo of this new update will be around few days so check my flicr if you want :) ...hier is the first version Crossbone

Crossbones really should have gotten a printed bulletproof jacket to make him look better. I don't know what they could have done for the fist weapons but they could have done something.

Ug, every time you make a post, it just reminds me that I don't have my Ghost Rider yet. C'moooon, time, let's go!

Hmmm, tragic banjo is making it sound like there's no vision in the 4th set. Honestly this would be perfect:

Hawkeye, Spiderman, iron man, baron zemo, and Martin Freeman's character.

We'll have pictures in no time.

- Red-hulk (if included) would probably be a new big-fig or a repaint of one of the other Hulk's

The directors have already said Red Hulk is not in the movie, so I don't think he'll be included in the Lego line.

I assume you mean scale mail, not chain mail.

In the comics it is a chainmail style suit (Not sure if it was actually chainmail) that looks like scales. Thus gaining it the nickname 'scale mail' though referring to that style of suit seems to be fine with most the community. Personally i refer to it as just a chainmail or chainmail style suit because that was what inspired it and what its supposed to be - the nickname coming afterwards.

For example, in the Airport battle, he is wearing this and even in the battle with Bucky and Iron Man (presumably late in the film) he seems to be in the same outfit.

We've had promo art and a lot of focus has been on the airport battle which i'm beginning to speculate is to draw attention away form the actual final battle that would include a villain that unites the Avengers. Kind of like how Batman Vs Superman made all the information focus on the two heroes fighting and then revealed Doomsday. The scalemail/chainmail suit is presumably one of the several aspects being kept most hidden from the trailers and will probably appear solely for the final battle of the film. Yes he is wearing an AoU style suit in the Airport battle (likely because it is a battle that occurs in the middle of the movie, or similar to the last film has him put on an older suit) however i still feel they should have given us an updated suit for that set - or at least some arm/leg printing.

That still didn't t answer the question

Nobody here would have a chance of answering a question that only Lego knows the answer to, sorry, but we wont know for sure unless Lego says, was just speculation on why i thought they were doing it up :cry_sad: Though by bringing this up publically it is somewhat interesting that the sets appeared online for Europe the very next day... :look:

Box art does not mean it is in the movie. Even the Lego toys don't indicate what's in the movie (remembers Mandarin driving a flame thrower car, Hank Pym suiting up in a darker suit for the final battle...)

Scale mail Captain America does not appear in the movie.

The Mandarin set was made to give fans an easy way to get the Mandarin and an Iron Man figure. It was not movie accurate to avoid spoiling the film's main twist. it was highly likely that Lego recieved misleading images on which to base that set off, and that Marvel kept the final battle of Iron Man 3 a secret from virtually everyone. This is not Lego's fault.

Hank Pym's inclusion in the Ant-Man set was to give fans the original Ant-Man suit that he wore. Though admittedly they included a head for Hank Pym that was older than what he would have been at the time. Chances are high that yet again, Marvel gave Lego the original idea of the film's ending which would have included Hank Pym coming out of retirement to save Scott or Hope.

Box-art is different from the actual Lego sets. The box-art is the actual characters in the actual suits (or CGI'd suits) posing. The multiple t-shirts showing Captain America in that suit along with the multiple pieces of merchandising and the promotional art are all evidence towards its involvement in the film.

Anyone had any ideas on how to improve Crossbones?

Honestly been looking into this a bit recently, feel he'd be best suited to some custom pieces - so will probably get some of those for him. Will try and share picks when i get the pieces together :3

Hawkeye, Spiderman, iron man, baron zemo, and Martin Freeman's character.

We'll have pictures in no time.

- Baron Zemo is likely going to wind up being a guy in a suit and that'll be it.

- Doubt we'll see Martin Freeman's character given he's less important than other characters we could get instead

- Spider-man could go either way at this stage, not expecting much from him

- A movie-accurate Hawkeye would be kind of pointless without a movie-accurate Black Widow to fight against...

- Iron Man is always nice, but i dont think he has a different form in this film that would be worth getting in set form

As for pictures... do we even have a general idea when this fourth set is out?

Hello everyone. I have been following this topic for a little while, and had a question. With the Lego Avengers video game recently coming out, and the mystery of the fourth CW set, is there a chance the set could be the VTOL Helicopter from the video game? It has a lot of Avengers qualities and looks like something from the movies. I only bring this up because with the Lego Marvel game 3 years back, the hydra tank, spider trike and spider helicopter all became sets after that game came out.

Why does everyone want Martin Freeman's character so badly.

He is only a Wakandan diplomat or something. It is essentially Bilbo's face with a suit.

Anyway, not to stray too far into wish list territory, but logically the set will most likely include:

- Captain America (most likely a given due to it being his movie)

- Vision (Probably a repeat. I honestly don't care all that much about the gem color)

- Spider-Man (Most likely the reason the set is coming out later than the rest)

- A villain like Zemo or the movie's adversary Iron Man

If we're trying to look at it "logically," the most likely figures are:

-Spider-Man

-Whoever the hell else shares a scene with Spider-Man, so since there is no solid info on the circumstances of his appearance, it would be pointless to speculate on other figures just yet

Never heard of those characters.

Well, based on things I've read about the film, it is done so that the film is mainly centered on Cap. I'd honestly expect another Cap, along with Spidey, in the set,

I believe Cap will have a fight with Spidey in the movie

But yeah, anything else is anyone's guess, but those two see, obvious.

Because I’ve seen this discussion before: scale armor is a real thing, and distinct from chainmail. Some artists draw Captain America wearing chainmail under cloth, but just as often, it's been scale armor.

Also, the outfit in question has only been seen in one (heavily re-used) piece of promo-art, so it is theoretically possible it’s an unused design that accidentally got signed off on for promotional usage. Unlikely, I know, but I don’t like either the scale or chainmail looks for Cap, so I’m hoping.

Actually, the Hank Pym figure is also based on an unused concept. In the design phase, a suggestion was made that the suit had a “stealth” mode when in the dark, where the silver parts of the outfit became black and the red parts glowed. Obviously, this isn't actually very stealthy, and it was scrapped. Both in planning and in the final film, there was only ever one Ant-Man suit in universe. I think Lego and Marvel just had some crossed wires in communication.

- A movie-accurate Hawkeye would be kind of pointless without a movie-accurate Black Widow to fight against...

Our Cap has an outdated torso, but Iron Man has an accurate torso, so Lego’s clearly not updating across the board here. For comparison:

I think the reuse of Cap's Torso and Black Widow is just forgiveable, But big costume changes like Iron Man and Hawkeye deserve a new Torso at least!

Thatls interesting considering the main reason heroes get different costumes every movie is because toy companies make them to sell toy as new because of costumes.

A new Civil War trailer is coming out tomorrow! If we get our first look at Spiderman I am sure pictures of the 4th set will show up sooner or later!

Im one of the few people who want to wait for the movie, but if they do show Spider Man, it seems reasonable that the set can then be shown

Unless they are keeping the final set hidden for another reason such as Baron Zemo, Hulk/Bruce Banner figure or even a spoilerific scene from the film.

Though the trailer should give us answers to a lot of it, though personally hope we dont see much of Spider-man yet (Unless they go with the Iron Spider suit) as i feel seeing him in a classic suit is a little underwhelming after all the hype of him joining the MCU.

He supposedly has 2 different suits in the movie.
