NXS7 Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I would deduce, if I read this literally, that the set being $50 puts in in the four minifigure range. I could also conclude that "repeated minifigures" is more that one and at least one minifigure is rumored to be Spidey. That means potentially Spidey, repeats (probably two) and maybe one other new minifigure, at best. One repeat would be Cap or Iron Man, new variant/character either Hawkeye, Vision or Ross (or possibly Zemo if he is being kept under covers) Quote
Scarilian Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Yeah, we're not getting that zemo or doctor strange... Doctor strange shouldn't look much different though. Zemo is a bit of a wild card, its not expected that we'll see his suit in Civil War, so perhaps we'll get the comic version of him included in a Civil War set instead? Could see Lego doing that instead of giving us just a figure with a suit again. Pretty sure the movie version of Strange has a darker colour scheme - so yeah, we're not getting that This is my bet for a Marvel SDCC exclusive And they don't need new pieces to produce a version based on the film (dark red/black) Makes sense, honestly all they'd need to do is release the old version of Deadpool from Wolverine's Chopper Showdown and just give him the Ninjago 'double sword storage' piece and most fans would be satisfied... Why is it that Green Goblin seems to be the main bad guy in the LEGO Spider-Man sets as of late (he is in the Mighty Micros set, the Juniors set and the big Bridge set later this year plus last year's Duplo set) For a start he's the main villain of Spider-man In addition to this with the rebooted version, chances are we'll see Green Goblin appear in 2017 sets and they are preparing to role out a new version of him so they want to use the current version as much as possible. What if...... the SDCC exclusive is this one: That moment when... The SDCC exclusive turns out to be a brand new Spider-man figure with exclusive printing on arms, legs, body and head - with a dark red Captain America shield xD Though given we are apparently getting a different costume for him in his solo outing the following year, i could see Lego releasing him as an exclusive this year and introduce a new version based on the 2017 costume next year. Sorry to veer off topic. but I want to make an unmasked version of Black Panther. As of right now, I don't know what face I should use, and I'm leaning towards using Finn's. For the hair, I also think that either Finn's or Bruce Wayne's hair would work. Do you guys have any suggestions? I'm using - Rhodey's Iron Man 3 face for Rhodey's Civil War version - Cyborg/Rhodey's Civil War face for Black Panther (flipped around to his angry expression) That way both have different faces, rather than winding up with both having the same face. As for the hair,i personally gave the Bruce Wayne hairpiece to Falcon as it looks better on him and it works with the sleekness you'd expect from someone who does mostly aerial combat. So as much as i dislike the Finn hair, you'd probably be best giving it to Black Panther. One of the main things i find with customising them using official pieces is that you can do the with virtually any piece, but if you want them to look good in a group then they all need to have different pieces as similarities stand out. - There is Dr Strange sets coming in November apparently medium sized. The representative couldn't remember if there is one or two Dr. Strange sets - He was sure there is one more Civil War set coming in the 2nd half of the year (Most likely with the August Spider-Man drop) but couldn't really say much about it (Or the Doctor Strange sets) Seems so far away... though going to keep some VIP points spare for the fourth Civil War set anyway We also had this news about the Doctor Strange set from a while back; Price; £34.99 Based on; Vignette style Dr. Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum (Mentioned as including a window, bookshelves and a table) Additional comments; Brick-built red tentacle monster coming through a portal Three Figures; Doctor Strange Wong Baron Mordo OR Dormammu Reports on other two figures; Someone holding a chain with a trans-orange radar dish, and someone holding two fans Sources; - Brickfanatics Quote
Hinckley Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I think that the 4th CW set will be a set in-between 30-80$. I think it will include as follows: Spider Man - Of course he will be in this set, no doubt. I just hope it's the new suit. The Vision and Hawkeye - I think they want to include all of the heroes so, This could work. Maybe a new figure for them? Baron Zemo - I expect Baron Zemo to be the villain so, They should have a fig. Ant-Man - Maybe he should have a regular figure? I don't know. 2 Vehicles Please post speculation in this thread. Thank you. Quote
HawkLord Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 According to the May store calendar posted in the Star Wars section, the Cap on motorcycle polybag will be available May 27th - 30th with purchase of $35 or more. Quote
SpiderSpaceman Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Is this all that's going on here? (new doc ock back construction) Stumped me for a while earlier, odd construction in any case. Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I think that's so it can connect the the mech easier Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I've been trying to find some solutions to the problems with the civil war minifigures. Black Widow: Give her this hair piece, Agent 13's torso, and black plain legs with the same age of ultron face. Falcon: Keep the face and hair. Give him this space police torso and legs, put brown arms, and dark gray hands. Haven't found a solution to the wings, but it will look better. Hawkeye: It's unknown if he's in the fourth set. i'd recommend giving him Bucky's torso, one superboy right sleeve arm, and this face. War Machine: Give him his face from 2013 and he's perfect. Winter Soldier: Give him Poe's face and this torso with the silver arm. Everything else is good. Hope you find this useful, I'll try to always do these with upcoming movies. Quote
Ultron Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I gave my MCU falcon the legs from the star wars Sith trooper and he looks pretty good with them. They may not be really accurate and there might be a better option, but I like it well enough Quote
wesker Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Winter Soldier: Give him Poe's face and this torso with the silver arm. I don't really see how Poe's face is an improvement over the Star Lord one. He's still smirking and looks less accurate with black eyebrows and facial hair. Quote

Poe's not the best choice, but it gives me a Sebastian Stan vibe. Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Guys - simple solution for the Falcon Backpack that looks great - take the 2x2 slope piece that has the sticker on for the drone, give it a 1x2 piece of the same colour in the gap and place on the wings. Streamlined and looks perfect IMO. Just need a good leg solution and some brown arms for my Falcon now! I also gave Crossbones the original Hawkeye legs with the two buckles and they work fantastic Quote
GoldenNinja3000 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Black Widow looks fine with Agent 13's torso, now I just need to find better orange hair. I'm thinking maybe Mrs Weasley from Harry Potter? It's the best hairpiece in that color I own. Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Has anyone tried Cole from Ninjago's face mask on the Winter Soldier? It looks like it would fit beneath the hair in back. Quote

Bricky Dee Williams Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 It does work. Nice! The cheapest way to get the piece is BL, but otherwise it is in a $7 set. Thanks! Can anyone show how it looks? Quote
KCMatze Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 That is actually how most of the customs were made before the first official one (polybag) was released. As I am on the phone right now I cannot post a pic sadly. Quote

GoldenNinja3000 Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Maybe it's the new Civil War set? It would make sense- the movie is out, and you get a free Cap polybag if you spend $35 or more. And isn't the set rumored to be around $40 or $50? Quote
NXS7 Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 18th May is only 12 days after the film comes out in America. Would make sense Quote
