For sure it's black - I'm not sure that it has white on the side. It looks like gray but that can be wrong and it could just be plain black.

Are you basing all this all off of (an) official picture(s)? Methinks there's something you aren't showing us.

EDIT: Wow, Sci, you and I posted at the same time!

Guys, don't beg for pictures. I'm just thankful for news on this set, just be patient. He'll put it when he gets the chance. Thanks for all the info J2G!

Nopers, I just saw the pics, doesn't mean I have 'em. I don't think LEGO or DIsney would like them being posted or shared either. If I could post something I would, if I couldn't I won't.

I wouldn't be surprised if LEGO did one black-widows-peak-with grey-highlights piece that they could use for both Doctor Strange and Ras al Ghul. Sounds like it could work for both.

Oh thanks J2G. You got me worried there. Wait. If j2g has seen pics for the dr strange set, does it mean that he has info on the 4th civil war set?

No. He would've shared it if he did.

Thanks for the info J2G! Looking forward to seeing that set. Sounds like it'd make a good display piece!

The Doctor Strange set is the Ancient One, Mordo, and Strange. Looks like the Big Bang Theory set but with eccentric collectibles and a big octopus out the wall.

Yessss!! Thanks for the update! Can't wait...

Interesting, Can't wait. Thanks J2G.

Can't help but also feel a little more hyped about that 4th Civil War set, I know you haven't seen it yet, but it is so secret-y.

Thats sucks that they use that old hair, its like they have gotten stuck in the old ways and forgot somehow that they got a new perfect hair to fit the movie look.

It's the same hairpiece used for Dr. Strange in the Lego Marvel game a few years ago, maybe it's the old curse of Lego working off concept air and going into production before the movie itself actually started filming. If we're getting grey on the sides, that hairpiece might be easier to print on, too. (Doesn't mean I won't be giving my minifig Superman's new hair, though...)

Oh yeah, forgot about that, Altough in the new game he does have the Superman hair?

Yeah it looks like in the new DLC pack he has the new Supe's hair... I've always been partial to the comics variants....

A little late to the game, but...

I got the Black Oanther Pursuit, and I absolutely love it! The build is fantastic, and I love Black Panther even more after swapping his legs out with Generak Zod's. (And owning him :sweet:) I also love the new hairpiece for Captain America, so much here for $30. The truck itself is also pretty nice.

Also late to the game on this one: Man, this Doctor Strange set sounds amazing, I can't wait until the rest of us see the pictures.

This Doctor Strange set sounds great! It sounds like Stephen will need some modifying, but otherwise I'm digging it! Somebody said that the window is in there, right? The Seal of Vishanti?

Thanks for the update Justin - you're the best :classic: So would you say it is very much a vignette style set as opposed to one filled with play features and such? If so, this will definitely be a welcome change to the norm :classic:

Well, there's some play features. Moving the monster's tentacles, placements, etc.

I gotta ask though, How does his cape work? Is his collar huge or just regular like in the movie?

And does he have a cloth skirt piece or is all printed on?

Also, does he have a small upper cape piece, like Martian Manhunter does?

This set is already my favorite set of the year just by hearing the description of it. A big bang theory style of set in the superheroes theme is unbelievable. I'm curious to see their new faces, i'm shocked Lego didn't reuse any face. I'm not complaining though. This is going to be an amazing set.
