Unless Lego is experimenting with permanently glueing pieces together, there's no way because it's used in the bridge battle on a different head.

Do you have pictures to prove it is attached? It just seems so ridiculous it is very hard to believe.

As you wish :)

Two pictures from the instructions. The head with flame piece is listed as one piece :(

And the figure itself. Maybe some brute force could separate the pieces, but I don't think it will work safely.

that's disappointing, why would they do that. if there was any issues with size they could just have designed it better.

I actually think he's pretty accurate for the most part. As far as I can tell he's missing some of the black detailing on his upper arms. Then the black lines on his torso shouldn't be completely straight. Web cartridges should be filled in with black, I think. And obviously the Spider symbol should be different. When you factor in how late in the game the spidey design was finalized for the movie it's an absolute miracle this turned out looking so good. A few of these changes I don't mind. I didn't like the black bits on the upper arm anyway and I can easily live with the wrong spider symbol.

That's super weird about the flame piece being attached to the head, that's a first. I'm wondering perhaps if the flame piece is maybe a bit fragile (Especially on the edges around the face) on it's own and that's why they decided to attach it. I can't say I'm that bothered by this. Though now I can't put this on a custom Human Torch so...

So, pumpkin bomb is all new instead of simply attached to a new flame?

Have to agree it's ridiculous, but for me it doesn't matter that much.

Why do you say so?

Agreed, seems a bit mad that it's all as one but hey ho, I won't be using the flame pieces for anything else so I guess it doesn't really effect me.

I also thought Spidey looked alright too!

wow hes super inaccurate, real shame.

Lets hope they sort it out for homecoming sets.

How is he super inaccurate? At any rate, at least we got an MCU Spidey for Civil War so we should be happy with what we did get.

Honestly I don't understand why would Lego mold flame piece to Ghost Riders head, wouldn't it actually make it more expensive to make? Plus Green Goblin in Bridge set has pumpkin bomb with this same flame piece, is it attached too? If it's not attached, Ghost Riders head mold makes even less sense.

That really stinks that those two pieces are connected. I was going to use them on a custom human torch. :hmpf_bad:

Spidey looks so good!

I think he looks amazing!

Ah just checked it, it is. Thought I remembered back when we had first pictures Ghost Rider and pumpkin were different flames

Rather shocking to see the new awesome flame piece is less a piece and more a molded head in a sense. As such it has almost no reuse potential. Granted, it does understandably makes sense why it was hypocritically kragled to the head. Still, it's disappointing.

That and if the printing is off center ever so slightly (like it is in those example pics) it'll drive me insane on account of not being able to readjust it. :ugh:

I feel your pain, Captain, the compulsion to fix such an issue is hard to ignore

I wonder if there's a more "behind the scenes" reason for the Ghost Rider head/flames. Like maybe a licensing issue where Marvel wanted the part to be connected or maybe Lego wanted to avoid kids putting fire pieces on other heads. Maybe something more that tied their hands on the subject.
