IMBATMAN Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 I was looking at the DC sets organized by new ones, and I saw an official image of the Ra's set listed for $29.99 and arriving on August 1st. I didn't see the same for Tanker Truck Takedown or the Sanctum Sanctorum. You can't see them because they aren't listed on LEGO's site, but use these links to go to their "store page" Civil War Spidey- http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Tanker-Truck-Takedown-76067?_requestid=4441748 Doctor Strange- http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Doctor-Strange-s-Sanctum-Sanctorum-76060?_requestid=4441748 Quote
Ashnflash Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 (edited) Actually on the Lego Shop for Canada the R'as set is listed as July 1st and all the other sets are August 1st except the Spiderman one is not listed But clicking on your links above takes me to a page with no pictures but it says August 1st... I also saw this in the description.. "This set offers an age-appropriate building experience for ages 7-14." That's so strange... I looked and no other sets say that. Must be because of the magic and sorcery Edited June 13, 2016 by Ashnflash Quote
Capn Frank Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 I apologize for the potential lack of coherency in this topic and the Marvel Super Heroes Wishlists. I moved all posts with content not related to 2016 Marvel sets to the Marvel Super Heroes Wishlists Topic. See below for a reminder for what to discuss in the Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion. Reminder: Rumors & Discussion Thread Guidelines Rumor & Discussion threads are for discussing newly released sets and news of upcoming sets. Anyone may add set news that they can confirm with a source. Treat each other with respect. Do not make posts begging for people to provide more information on upcoming sets! When members who share this information want to tell you something they find out, they will. Remember, they don't have to share anything, and not everything they know from preliminary information is gospel.Asking questions on recent set news is fine, but refer to the First Post beforehand to see if the information you seek is already there.[*]Discussion about potential future sets and minifigures that have not yet been rumored with a source belong in the appropriate Future Sets or Wishlists topic. Once news has come out, you may discuss how the film/tv/media material will translate into LEGO in the Rumor & Discussion topic. For example: once there has been sourced news that a Batman v Superman set will contain the Batwing, you may discuss images from the film as they pertain to how the movie Batwing will look in the set. If there is no news stating that the Joker's purple car will be in a LEGO set, discussion of the purple car in LEGO belongs in a Future Set speculation topic.[*]Discussion soley about the story, character, and other movie related information belong in the relevant movie topic in the Culture & Media Forum. Amazing Bricks Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Brickset has it as $35, glad to know it's not. $30 is a reasonable price, I love this set and will get no matter what. Quote
Aethersprite Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Don't these 2 sets release in August? Still, nice to get confirmation on their prices :) Quote

Stan-Lee Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 When is the sdcc figure revealed? Before or during the comic con? Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 When is the sdcc figure revealed? Before or during the comic con? Just a little before comic con starts. That's been the case past years and I don't think it would change now. Quote
AmericaLego Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Has anyone else thought of using Baron Mordo's headpiece and hair for an unmasked version of black panther? Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Has anyone else thought of using Baron Mordo's headpiece and hair for an unmasked version of black panther? Thought about that, but then I realized, baron looks a bit lighter than the normal black skin. It looks like he's this color skin: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSMaXx-RyEm-LkL3jG2GHsY4NnRV6G9VmoSNXjo_TiAX5yPTwzA9w Is that just me, or anyone else seeing that too? Quote

PriorMarcus Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 I'm using Boateng's head and hair for my unmasked Black Panther. I'll probably mod his mouth to be less happy too. Quote

agoodfella77 Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 (edited) Doc Ock mech is the only 2016 Marvel set I don't like. I took out the figures, Doc's new arms (which are much more accurate and superior to old ones), the boat and sold the rest. I also liked 2014's Doc Ock best, but that's the matter of opinion, I simply prefer printed legs to double-moulded ones. Design of Doc Ock aside, this is what, technically the 7th variant of Doc Ock (granted in the Spider-Man 2 wave it was the same fig with 3 head variants) but still, would have been nice to get one more Sinister Six villain like Shocker or Mysterio Edited June 16, 2016 by agoodfella77 Quote

It just seems a logical thing to do. And if they'll do it, i hope for a better, classic Electro too. Quote

Captain Britain Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Hope the same thing! Fingers crossed boys.. we're just screaming out for them now! Mysterio and classic Electro would be my top wants. I'd really like a Shocker too though, along with maybe a Lizard and classic Rhino! Anyhow, I have put this in the wrong thread Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 I feel like Lizard's more likely than Shocker. Then again, I didn't think we'd get Hobgoblin or Scorpion any time soon, either, so what do I know? An official Mysterio would be to die for, assuming we actually manage to get some comic-based sets next year what with all the movies coming out. Speaking of comic book dreams being crushed by the film industry, shouldn't we have heard about SDCC exclusives by now? Nearly every other major toy company has confirmed theirs with pictures and everything, and it's not all that far off. Quote

Kman860 Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 NIce, my issue though is that truck is a tractor-trailer, but the truck in the movie was a rigid. Quote
