HyperOnion Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 The problem is, Vision is an android, so he doesn't have an ever-changing costume like Cap, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, etc. So I think this is a pretty good update. Well... Synthezoid, technically. An important distinction, since Synthezoids sometimes wear sweater vests. And I would really, really like Fancy Sweater Vest Vision. Re-enact the current Vision series with him. (but more seriously, one of the more eagle-eyed posters here pointed out a bunch of small differences between the current minifig, based on concept art, and the final Vision suit. Would be great to get a new, more screen accurate printing while they're updating the fig. Ah well.) Quote
Nerd-with-a-Pencil Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Should see 3 new Marvel Micro Machines in a few hours My guesses: Wolverine Vs. Deadpool Thor Vs. Loki Iron Man vs. Dr. Doom (they haven't made any "proper" Iron Man rogues yet) Quote
AnnaBuildsLego Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 My guesses: Wolverine Vs. Deadpool Thor Vs. Loki Iron Man vs. Dr. Doom (they haven't made any "proper" Iron Man rogues yet) Those sound excellent! I'd love Wolverine vs Deadpool, but I have to wonder if Lego would ever release Deadpool again considering he's now associated with an R-rated movie. Quote
Borex Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 (edited) Any word on the new marvel mm's? They did surprise me pleasantly over at dc, so i hope they can do it again with the mm's for marvel. *edited because of too much wishlisting* Edited June 30, 2016 by Borex Quote
Clone OPatra Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Remember: speculation does not go here. The DC ones were a pleasant surprise, let the Marvel ones be as well whenever LEGO feels like announcing them. Quote
just2good Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 If I had to guess, they'd release in March along with the GotG 2 wave. DC is in January because of the big LEGO Batman movie wave. Quote
Sir Gareth Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 DC is in January because of the big LEGO Batman movie wave. Is the LEGO Batman Movie wave separate from the DC Superheroes line? Quote

Sir Gareth Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 (edited) Yes. Sorry, but I'm waiting for just2good's answer, as he seems to believe otherwise. Back on topic, I would not expect any Marvel set reveals at SDCC this year. I stand corrected Edited July 1, 2016 by Sir Gareth Quote
KCMatze Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Hum...why not? I would love to see some tidbits :-) Quote
just2good Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Well yeah, it's not part of the Super Heroes line but it's still a DC Comics product. So the first DC wave for 2017 is thirteen LEGO Batman Movie sets and the Mighty Micros. Quote
CM4Sci Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 (edited) And the Super Hero Girls are? Wrong topic to ask Edited June 30, 2016 by CM4Sci Quote

All the character they make up, the Batman variations, and we still don't have a CMF line just for Iron Man suits? After the exceedingly great sets this year, and the obvious increase in output, I cannot wait to see, besides the Might Micros hopefully being reveleaed soon enough, what 2017 will be bringing to the table in this theme. Zilcho Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Has anyone combined two bridge battles? I'd love to see pics. Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Has anyone combined two bridge battles? I'd love to see pics. Yep, and then somebody combined four. Just check a few pages back. I thought it would be nice to give you guys an update on the Bridge project. Right now I'm busy building my city so this has been put on hold, but you can see some progress. From Kevii23, just hit the back arrow in the quote box. It's pretty cool. Quote

There's legal issues with Marvel and CMFs. Since they don't come with builds, the collectible minifigures fall under the category of action figures as far as licensing is concerned, and Hasbro owns those rights. I think the reason we're getting Ghost Rider has fall seen the light of day. They've got a train in San Diego running with an Agents of SHIELD logo coupled with a flaming chain, and they've moved to 10 pm so they can get a little darker. The damning evidence (heh) is their casting call for two Latino brothers, one disabled in a wheelchair and one "the most dangerous person in the room." That sounds an awful lot like the All-New Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes and his little brother Gabe. And by "an awful lot" I mean "exactly". So, could be some subtle promotional work. If nothing else, that is a terribly convenient coincidence. Quote

They've got a train in San Diego running with an Agents of SHIELD logo coupled with a flaming chain ... That's probably a reference to a character named "Hellfire", an inhuman who weilds a flaming chain in one episode of Agents of SHIELD. Odd choice for a promo, given the easy confusion with GR. Whether Hellfire becomes the MCU Ghost Rider on the show I can't say, but Hellfire is a baddie, so prob not. http://marvelcinemat...m/wiki/Hellfire http://marvelcinematicuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Hellfire%27s_Chain Edited July 1, 2016 by linnormlord Quote
Shishalzafrazz Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Seems like, unless Hellfire is being set up to be the big bad for season 4, it's got to have something to do with Ghost Rider. Too strange a coincidence that there would be so much talk of GR coming to the MCU and a GR Lego set for the theme of the AoS title card and advertising to be an ambiguous picture of a minor villain. My guesses: Wolverine Vs. Deadpool Thor Vs. Loki Iron Man vs. Dr. Doom (they haven't made any "proper" Iron Man rogues yet) I doubt very seriously they'd make a kiddie Deadpool Lego set and I doubt they can do Doom yet. I'd guess Wolverine v Magneto, Thor v Loki and Iron Man v Civil War Cap or Sam Cap. Quote
Ultron Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 I doubt they can do Doom yet. Well we have already had him. Quote
Shishalzafrazz Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Yeah, but wasn't that before Marvel put a moratorium on Fox characters? I mean, I guess it makes Wolvie and Magneto out of the realm of possibilities now, too, but I was just going off what came out since the embargo. Maybe it's black Spidey v doc Ock. Quote
