IMBATMAN Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Oh my god! These look so cute! The X-men one definitely comes as a surprise Quote
Robianco Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 The Thanos Infinity Gauntletmobile is probably my favourite though Quote
Captain Nemo Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 So I guess this is the 'annual' two year X-Men set we should expect...and they managed...for a third time...to include Wolverine and Magneto. On the plus side though--classic Iron Man! Quote
IMBATMAN Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 The Thanos Infinity Gauntletmobile is probably my favourite though Same here. My least favorite is scorpion's though. What's with the open back? Quote
tafkatb Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 What's with the open back? Leaves room for his tail. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 (edited) Same here. My least favorite is scorpion's though. What's with the open back? It's so he's tail doesn't get stuck Edit: Crap ninja-ed! Edited July 1, 2016 by Im a brickmaster. Quote
The Lego Nolan Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 What's with the black head on Magneto? Is it supposed to be Onslaught? Quote
Borex Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 What's with the black head on Magneto? Is it supposed to be Onslaught? He does look a bit like him, maybe we'll get him someday in a real set? Quote
Lyichir Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Very nice! The Wolverine and Magneto set is great all-around. The Iron Man and Thanos set is also great—I especially like the cartoony Iron Man helmet and Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet-mobile! The Spider Man and Scorpion set is less appealing. Like the Batman and Killer Moth set in the DC wave, it features a repeat character for Mighty Micros along with a minor villain who appeared in a regular set this year, but unlike that set neither vehicle is particularly impressive. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 So cute!! That Iron Man vs Thanos set is a must, and even though Wolvie vs Magneto are repeat characters, the vehicles are so well-done that I like it. The Magneto reminds me of his first appearances ever in Uncanny X-Men when his face was mostly in shadow under the huge helmet. It was a while before Magneto got a real face. The Spidey set is an easy pass, though. I guess LEGO feels having Spidey is obligatory for the kids. Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Coming 2018, Spidey with both eyes closed against Doc Ock. Quote
Nerd-with-a-Pencil Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 I definitely need the Iron Man one (Love the infinity gauntlet car!). Wolverine looks good, can pass on spidey though. Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 He does look a bit like him, maybe we'll get him someday in a real set? No! No more Wolverines and Magnetos! Third time is a charm Quote
Zergos Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 wow these 2017 mighty micros are gonna bleed my wallet. Love all 3 of these, see some great parts! Awesomee! Quote
GoldenNinja3000 Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Awesome MMs! I love the Iron Man one especially! Quote
Borex Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 No! No more Wolverines and Magnetos! Third time is a charm Lol. I meant Onslaught, not wolv or magneto. Quote
Shishalzafrazz Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 I don't understand why FF is off the table, but Wolverine and some of the X-Men aren't. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 That's probably a reference to a character named "Hellfire", an inhuman who weilds a flaming chain in one episode of Agents of SHIELD. Odd choice for a promo, given the easy confusion with GR. Whether Hellfire becomes the MCU Ghost Rider on the show I can't say, but Hellfire is a baddie, so prob not. http://marvelcinemat...m/wiki/Hellfire http://marvelcinemat...ellfire's_Chain That's what I was willing to make of the chain thing when I first saw it, but there is just waaay too much evidence in Robbie's favor now. Coming 2018, Spidey with both eyes closed against Doc Ock. Coming 2019, Spider-Man fights Electro...blindfolded?! Iron Man's helmet is a new mold, isn't it? They couldn't print a face like that so smooth on the old visor, and it looks like there's just one solid piece there? Could we be getting a regular classic Iron Man soon, too? They are really perfecting the art of these Mighty Micros sets. The DC ones are so much better than this year's, and now THESE? Thanos's Infinity Gauntlet on wheels, Magneto's little car that's 90% magnet, the SPIDER-BUGGY, these are fantastic! I might actually leave most of these together this time! Quote
Robianco Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 (edited) With DC getting the classic '66 Batman Batcave would there be an equivalent thing for Marvel that would lend itself to a classic Iron Man or similar? Edited July 1, 2016 by Robianco Quote
BaneShake Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 These are so much better than the original marvel ones. I'll actually pick a couple of these up fairly early, whereas I'm only considering the normal ones on a great sale. Quote
Ultron Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Hm, maybe we're not done with the X-men? Thanos' car is awesome! And I love everything about Tony. It'd be nice to get the Spider Buggy as a full size set though! Quote
GoldenNinja3000 Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 I guess the 2017 rumors and discussion thread can now be opened! Quote
Sir Gareth Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 The 2017 Rumors and Discussion thread can be opened now! So can your eyes http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=136848&st=25#entry2600823 Quote
linnormlord Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 So I guess this is the 'annual' two year X-Men set we should expect...and they managed...for a third time...to include Wolverine and Magneto. On the plus side though--classic Iron Man! I would like to upvote this somehow, because three sets with Wolvie and Magneto is ridiculous. Second reason is that Captain Nemo is on and less grumpy than his pic! Quote
