Pulp Detective Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 I don't care if Thanos is in a $200 set, I have to have him! Same for Bucky,I don't care if he is in the most expensive set I'll buy it any way. Quote
EdWebhead Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) And this is why I have trust issues... So can someone be so kind to give a recap of what is really confirmed? All this fake news got me confused. Edited August 24, 2015 by EZNetwork Quote
Sir Gareth Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) And this is why I have trust issues... So can someone be so kind to give a recap of what is really confirmed? All this fake news got me confused. ...because the good news is we're still getting Hyperion and Ms. Marvel, and while we're not getting Kang the Conqueror, we're getting the Mad Titan himself... You mean like space variants of Captain America and Iron Man? Edited August 24, 2015 by Sir Gareth Quote
Ultron Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 So people stop asking, we're getting Captain Marvel, not Ms. Marvel. Please let that be the end to the questions about Carol haha Quote
kevkipo Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 I'm just waiting for someone to totally make my day and tell me we are getting Hawkeye / Scarlet Witch / Spidey next year... My brain could use more explosion after Thanos Quote
Zergos Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 So people stop asking, we're getting Captain Marvel, not Ms. Marvel. Ultron Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Considering Sir Gareth keeps quoting his quote that says Ms. Marvel, I'm pretty sure it's Ms. Marvel, and not Captain Marvel. No, it's Captain Marvel. Just2Good gave us that information after we previously believed it to be Ms... People here are just using them synonymously which is fine except for the fact that people keep asking over and over which we're getting. Quote
Sir Gareth Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) Just2good and I are unsure. We will clarify whether it is Captain Marvel or Ms. Marvel when we have further information. Edited August 24, 2015 by Sir Gareth Quote
Capt Winters Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Does anyone know what the figures for the Iron Skull Submarine set might be except for Red Skull? Quote
VictorFrenchFries Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Just hope Hyperion doesn't have Superman's face, that would be kinda weird. Also, if it is Captain Marvel, do you think that maybe she'll get a new hair mold or something like the spiky hair? Quote
Ultron Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) Just2good and I are unsure. We will clarify whether it is Captain Marvel or Ms. Marvel when we have further information. Hm, must have missed that part. Well I'll be happy with either, honestly. Just hope Hyperion doesn't have Superman's face, that would be kinda weird. Also, if it is Captain Marvel, do you think that maybe she'll get a new hair mold or something like the spiky hair? Hyperion with Supermans face..that's just too much. Hopefully they don't go with that. A new hair mold for Captain Marvel would be nice, but I'd rather have the style that's not her spiked up one. Just her shoulder length hairstyle. It would be nice though if they went out of their way to mold an entirely new one just for Diversity's sake, but I suppose it's unnecessary. Most of the mold budget will probably go toward Thanos and maybe a few pieces for the ship. Quote
BrickSantorum Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Just hope Hyperion doesn't have Superman's face, that would be kinda weird. That would actually be hilarious! If it doesn't come with Supes' face, I'll be modding mine immediately. Quote

benderisgreat Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 So this CW wave of sets will be much cheaper to get than this years Avengers AoU sets, which is nice. I spend a lot of money on this wave but got a lot of repeats, seems like next wave will only have repeats of Cap. Good. Even though I love Iron Man, I think we had too many of him this year. As for sets themselves it's nice we won't be getting another Quinjet. Maybe more buildings than vehicles this time around? Quote

There are actually some film set pictures wich suggest that there might be the one or another vehicle in the Lego sets. Quote

So Iron Man will probably get his "Rubber Duckie" armor (yes it is really called that, look it up if you don't believe me) from Avengers Assemble then... interesting since it would require a new helmet mold. For as many sets as we got from AoU this year, I sure wasn't impressed with the selection. I only picked up the Quinjet because I didn't collect when the original was released and I got a great deal on it new. I got the smaller sets for the figures. I just hope 2016 eventually gives us a substantial Marvel playset. From the looks of the early information for the first half of the year, that doesn't seem likely - just more large and small vehicles. I don't understand why DC gets awesome Batcaves, Arkham Asylum, etc. when Marvel's biggest playset to date is, what, the too small Avengers Tower? A Daily Bugle with no back side? Quote

On a personal note, I don't mind getting another quinjet or other vehicles. I do not like playsets in general. As you mentioned, mostly because of the lack of a backside or being too small. Ultron Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Upon further inspection: The Rubber Duckie armor is rather ugly: I'd rather have this one personally: So we're basically getting a bunch of iron men next year aren't we? If there really are 2 new variants in the AA sets, a new one in the Juniors, and 1+ in Civil War...that's already at least 4 new suits. Yet we can hardly get any spidey variants? Quote

Elgard Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) And Silver Centurion. Silver Centurion is coming out this year. Ultron was referring to next year :P. But yes there are going to be a bunch of new Iron Man suits. Can't wait! Edited August 24, 2015 by Elgard Quote
