just2good Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Here's a look at the SDCC 2016 exclusive BrickHeadz! At the end, there's this teaser for what's to come: Quote
Ceroknight Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Not much going on in my opinion. Who is this meant for? Surely not for children. Quote
just2good Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Not much going on in my opinion. Who is this meant for? Surely not for children. These are definitely meant for collectors. I'd say the same audience as Funko POP! figures. Quote
GoldenNinja3000 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 All these question marked figures- does that mean we might get more than just the original 4 sets? Quote
NXS7 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 All these question marked figures- does that mean we might get more than just the original 4 sets? So far we've seen Batman, Joker, Superman and Wonder Woman for DC, and Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther and Doctor Strange for Marvel, which is 8, and there's 12 on the box. I imagined that the ones at comic con were exclusive, and we'll all have the chance to get new ones next year Quote

I imagined that the ones at comic con were exclusive, and we'll all have the chance to get new ones next year I meant that there were 4 sets with 2 figures each. And I thought it was confirmed that these guys weren't con exclusives and the exact same figures would appear in March? I thought the only exclusive part was the packaging and the SDCC tile. Quote
HyperOnion Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I thought the only exclusive part was the packaging and the SDCC tile. Yeah, that was my understanding as well. Would certainly be crazy if they did their most popular characters as con exclusives... Quote
Hero Bricks Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 With all of the talk in the 2017 Marvel thread about the All New and All Different Marvel comics minifigures is it possible that the polybag that will come out later this year could be an All New and All Different character? Quote

HyperOnion Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Oh. So who is it, then? ...D-Man? They've already got his mask mold! Quote
linnormlord Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 ...D-Man? They've already got his mask mold! I don't think they would troll us that badly - give us a character nobody cares about and is clearly a joke character, but ... It would be HILARIOUS if they did! Just needs a new new torso print, leave the rest the same! Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I just opened by Doc Ock's Tentacle Trap this morning, and it is not as bad as people say! I love the new Do Ock arm construction, and Vulutre is pretty good, despite the sudden drop-off of printing with the legs. White Tiger is fantastic, and looks great with the other four "Web Warriors," and Captain Stacy is well, trying to hit 88 mph with the Police Boat. The main build is fun, and some functions seem thrown in but it looks great altogether. For $40 or less, I'd recommend this. Quote
Captain Britain Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I thought the build on Doc Ock's mech was quite fun. It might get a tad repetitive towards the end but the parts that do really don't take too long to build and it looks pretty cool in the flesh! I've got him down in my little geek room holding a Spidey upside down next to the bridge set! Quote
Brennens world Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Yeah, The Doc Ock Mech is alot Better Then I Thought. The Minifigures are Great and it has a Good Price. When I First Saw the Set I hated It, But Right not it's The Only Summer 2016 Set That I Have Bought. Quote
Suproc Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I'm a big fan of any set where the villains get a proper hangout/ship. Things like the Milano and Avenjets are great but they come with a little baby addon for the villains. It's nice to finally have a huge robot that looks like it'd take more than just Spider-Man to defeat. Quote
SpiderJazz Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Still no news for the polybag coming later this year? Quote
Willsy Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Are the Tanker Truck Showdown and Dr Strange sets available in Lego Stores in Europe? Quote
Hoth Rebel Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Are the Tanker Truck Showdown and Dr Strange sets available in Lego Stores in Europe? Lego.com has them and you can also buy them at specialised lego stores. Quote
KCMatze Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 I just bought the Doctor Strange set in Germany at the LEGO store Essen yesterday. They also had all the other new sets there, including Tanker truck takedown. So I guess that would be a yes! Sadly no CMF though. Quote
Deadshot Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Built Sanctum Sanctorum today. Cool build and the monster feature is nice. Makes me wish Lego would make some DC setpieces, instead of vehicles in every set. (Or at least some setpieces at this pricepoint. Not 100$+ Arkhams, Batcaves, and Joker Lands) Quote
KCMatze Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 I really like the spinning tentacles, too. I had to get rid of the 3 other play features though, as the holes / technic pins destroyed the look on display. Very easy mod, of course - but super effective! Quote

Really hope this set does well enough for them to justify making more diorama / display pieces instead of trying to make everything a vehicle set. Quote
SpiderJazz Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 If someone can do a MOC with the Sanctum Sanctorum full room, that would be epic! Quote
NXS7 Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 If someone can do a MOC with the Sanctum Sanctorum full room, that would be epic! If someone could MOC it to remove the squid it would be epic. Don't get me wrong, the squid is epic, but its not always there, it just draws attention from most of the Sanctorum Quote
