It is really hard to keep up with this thread and all of its off topicing. Avengers Assemble is not that well known and that well liked by many people. And with the lies of Nekchir it is hard to understand and believe what the heck is happening. Quote
strangely Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) What is it with Spider-vehicles though? It's not just Lego that do it. These toy companies want to make money. So they have to find ways to keep the consumer buying their products even though they're all selling the same character and sometimes even the same parts. Spider-man doesn't have many vehicles nor gadgets and he doesn't have some massive lair like Tony Stark or Batman. So naturally companies have to make up things to keep selling Spider-man. Kids love vehicles. So they take whatever vehicle they can think up, add a web play function and slap a recognizable color scheme on it and they have another product they can charge too much for and kids will jump up and down because it's Spider-man and he has a cool car, plane, unicycle, whatever. It's worked so far too. Lego has managed to get me to buy all of these sets and I have an entire of legion of the exact same Spider-men... Edited August 27, 2015 by strangely Quote

Ultron Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I'd buy that! For the new Doc Ock of course. Because we've only had five variants in 13 years. What other variants are there really to get? We pretty much got the perfect one in the bank truck. Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 What other variants are there really to get? We pretty much got the perfect one in the bank truck. There's the one from the 2002 fusion lab, the multiple green coated ones from the other Spidwrman 2 sets. the 4+ Juniors sets, and then Ultimate Doc Ock and the Bank Truck variant. I agree, the Bank truck variant is my favorite. But again, his comment was just a joke. Als, for anyone looking, the official images of the Duplo Spiderman sets are in the Brickset database as "Spider Man 1" and "Spider Man 2" Quote

Capn Frank Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 ... Thank you Quicksilver for updating the first post. I'm glad to see that this topic got back on track. As a reminder: This topic is for discussing sets, not the movies! Discuss movies in the Culture & Multimedia Forum. Oh my god, What ever. I make no sense and blah blah blah. GOOD BYE This is not how you should respond to people who have different opinions about a movie. Our Site Guidelines Topic states: Don't be offensive to other members. We like Eurobricks to be a friendly place to discuss LEGO and won't allow posts that are intended to offend or attack. Quote
legofreak86 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) So the looks for the teams in civil war have been revealed in promo art, so these are what we can most likely expect these characters to look like inthe sets next year. I especially love Hawkeye's new threads which perfectly toe the line between modern mcu movie style and comic book style, Winter Soldier's suit I think will translate well to Lego form, he appears to be cleanly shaven and his hair is pretty much the same as the winter soldier look, his costume has a different Jacket to the promo bag look which is mostly black with some gun holsters and his usual silver arm. There is anothercharacter mentioned above with her own military spy look so I'd imagine we'd see her. Black Panther just looks awesome and I really hope he gets a minfigure next year cause that look is so cool, Ant Man seems to be wearing a new version of his suit with a bit more dark red and a slightly differentshaped helmet. Either way I can't wait to see what the minfigure assortment for next year would be, I hope at least we get the villains of the movie and at least the new members of both teams and obviously Iron Man and Cap as its sort of their movie. One thing I notice about these costumes is with the exception of Panther and Falcon most of these figures won't require new molds which lego will be happy about. No sign of Spidey so I guess they are keeping their cards close to the chest for his reveal but I would guess with him being Lego's and Disney's golden boy merch wise he'll probably show up in a set in MCU version.
