I'd imagine we're definitely getting Zemo. We just got word from Scarlet Witch herself that Zemo is the "main villain" of Civil War.

Of course we would get Zemo minifig. I just hope he looks just like in the comics. Don't want to get him without his signature mask and purple outfit.

It comes off as a bit puffy looking, but I think it's way more accurate. If you actually look at a picture of Falcon, he doesn't really have a widows peak and his hair isn't slicked back like that. Doesn't really matter what "looks better" to me, it's about accuracy and that piece they have on him now doesn't look like him.

Finn hair is the lesser of two evils.

I think you're right, but I'm no longer positive. As I see it, we have four options:

1. Good old fashioned Lego male hair. Surprisingly, it's not too shabby:

It gets the job done, is relatively compact and mimics Mackie's hairline well. The only downside is the lack of texture compared to modern Lego wigs.

2. Bald. This also works:

This one looks pretty good. The obvious downside here is that it allows only one face, and, y'know, Mackie has hair, so it's not totally accurate.

3. Lego's piece:

It's again compact and tight to the skull, which is nice, but looks nothing like a buzzcut, and Mackie has no widow's peak whatsoever.

And then the Finn's hair way. I think this is the most likely. Boyega's hair looks a lot like Mackie's and if that's how Lego wants to represent that look, that's how they're going to represent that cut. But it is a little poofy.

But really, as long as the face print is designed with the hair (or lack thereof) in mind, I'll be happy no matter which one it is.

Mmm... a lot to consider now... my money says Finn's hair.

I think that finns hair would be the best choice since the other two hair pieces that've been suggested are very common and i personally have tons of them, so if I really don't like Finn's hair I'll switch them. but since i didn't pick up the falcon (and even if I did, I wouldnt want to steal finn's hair from him) so if it comes with the either of the other pieces i wont have the option of using finn's. Though we could always hope for a brand new hair piece that works, which would be great because if it looked close to mackie's then it would probably also work on war machin, and maybe miles since they all have that similar close shaven hair. just my 2 cents

Now we are heading into the waiting time, and one of these days a single drop of news, from the fountain of Lego will fall

And J2G / Sci / Sir Gareth / Hulk will catch it and share it with us, wich probably will be around end October / begin November

So now embrace for the waiting game dear lads!

I personally think that we'll get the first pictures from the catalog like last year, but who knows

Yeah I kinda just want news.. badly... but complaining won't help me, unfortunately.

Now then, back to Finn's hairpiece (or anything else substantive)

Well it wasn't really ment as a complaint (If that is what you are referring to)

It's not that you magically let news appear or something :snicker:

My post directly above yours told you to end this conversation. Consider this a formal warning - no more posts about the absence of news!

Alright, does anyone have educated guesses for what builds will be in the small set? I can imagine how they'd do a $13 market set: a tiny stall and a few crates which you could knock over, and maybe a Black Widow motorcycle. However, $20 feels too large to do something that unsubstantial. I'm not positive how Lego would do a $20 combat set piece. Does anyone have examples of sets in that price range that we can compare to?

Edit: I was thinking it wouldn't have any major vehicles, though having looked through Brickset, I'm starting to think that was naive. There are no Superheroes sets at this price point where the majority of pieces didn't go towards a vehicle, if you count Ant-Man's ant is a vehicle. Basically, Lego will shove in a vehicle regardless of its relevance to the plot.

However, in themes that didn't take place in industrialized societies, I was able find some examples of $20 playsets from the last 5 years:

2508-1.jpg?201102211258

9558-1.jpg?2011110404154737-1.jpg?2010100403207570-1.jpg?2010031804474181-1.jpg?2011020207394192-1.jpg?20110202073979011-1.jpg?2013080806522254-1.jpg?201103030253

In general, these sets represent large chunks of landscape rather than buildings or structures. This makes them poor candidates for the market set. Because there is so little overlap between Superhero $20 sets and playsets, I'm unfortunately forced to conclude that the set will have Crossbones stealing a semi truck the length of a pickup while Widow and Falcon chase him on motorcycle and wingpack.

From hearing what the D23 trailer was like I can say that Crossbones van will most likely be in the set. Since I have not seen the trailer and have only heard some stuff about it I can't say what the rest of the set could be like.

Oooh, that's a relief. I don't mind Iron Man Ultimate Showdown inaccuracy sometimes if it gets us figures, but knowing that there is a movie accurate vehicle there allays a lot of my fears.

There was this set which I believe was $20 7195-1.jpg?200904271116
