Source? It'd be awesome if this turned out to be the real amount of sets!

Edit: I see Amazon as the source? So that's 7 maybe more Marvel sets if those sets in between are some too? Sweet!

Thanks! This made my day so much better! :)

Just like this year with Lego SH DC and Lego BatMan 3, they will release a lot of sets because of the video game.

Those weren't because of the game, it was because BvS got pushed back.

I got a feeling we are going to get more than three sets, given how many characters are in Civil War

They seem to be based off of the Avengers Assemble TV show.

The submarine likely has Iron Man and Cap disguising as Grim Reaper and Crossbones, while the Space Mission likely includes either the Watcher or Thanos.

Hot damn I can't wait!!!!!!!!! I've been itching for an Iron Skull since the beginning of the show. Also, if Thanos is in the set, he may be based on the MCU version since they look very similar with toned down colors. (Gold instead of yellow and dark blue rather than a bright kind.) :excited::wub_drool::excited::wub_drool::excited:

I have so much i can do with these figs.   (if all turns out to be true.)

Does anyone have a picture of iron skull? I really don't know what I'm looking for.

Pretty much Red skull in a black Iron Man armor with the Hydra logo in the chest.

So he'll just look pretty similar to the one we already have? Does he have a helmet?

Awesome to see more Avengers Assemble sets since we had none this year, though I'm wondering why so many and different Avengers themed products ?

Nope

Crossbones! Crossbones! Also, does anyone think that the space mission set could be the Avenjet? That would be dope.

lol

Avenjet makes sense, or most likely those weird Power Ranger inspired armors they had when battling Thanos on the moon in the cartoon. Those were just a ploy for making toys so I could definitely see that happening. Maybe Hyperion comes in the moon set? It could just be a hodgepodge of characters and episodes crammed into one set like Hulk's Lab Smash which wasn't really based on one specific episode but had a bunch of characters from the show included.

Now, I'm not sure if Lego is ready to do Thanos this early, kinda ruins the appeal (at least a little bit) for Infinity War sets. But it would make sense as there would be minor differences.

I'm just hoping if Thanos is in the moon set he isn't brightly colored and can fit in with MCU figs too. I actually have an idea for a MOC with a bunch of MCU scenes and in the middle is just Thanos with the gauntlet ready to wreak havoc.

Anyway, my 2 cents based on what we have.

Over in the DC thread, we have a theory, based on some recent news and speculation, that Lego might be releasing some battlepack type sets for Batman. If this does turn out to be true, I don''t see why Lego wouldn't release some for Civil War. What I'm thinking is that they could release some larger sets based on the movie itself featuring the main characters, and a few less prominent ones, and then also release some battlepack type sets featuring some of the less prominent characters as well as a few more prominent ones.

It's ironic, I'd actually prefer the opposite: a brightly colored, comic-based Thanos. The comics always trump the movies for me.

I could see those poorly-animated Power Ranger mechs appearing in the Space Mission set.

Honestly, so long as I have an Infinity Gauntlet all is good.:thumbup:

At least those mechs will have good parts… I guess. *sigh*

Agreed. I'd rather get a bright comic Thanos because we'll get an MCU version in a couple years and it wouldn't make much sense to put that one in a non movie set.

Six Avengers sets next year is a nice surprise. Hopefully we'll be seeing plenty of new characters like Captain Marvel, Wasp, Doctor Strange and AIM Henchmen. Some comic-based variants for Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Mandarin and Ultron would be more than welcome too. Fingers crossed the actual builds will be as good as this year's Justice League sets.

Would be nice if one of those mystery sets was an X-Men one, but I'm not holding my breath. Would be nice to get Apocalypse, Jean Grey, Mystique, Archangel, Nightcrawler and 90s Cyclops.

Still disapointed by the lack of Civil War sets though, but I'll be satisfied as long as we get Bucky, MCU Falcon, Black Panther, Sharon Carter and Crossbones.

The three sets (43,44,and 45) are all BvS. 51-60 are still possibilites.

This sounds like an excellent decision. I wholeheartedly approve. Particularly if we get Captain Marvel, Wasp, or some redos of Comiccon exclusives. The only potential downside is that nobody really needs multiples of particular superheroes, do they? So they might not sell as well as SW battlepacks. I mean, if I'm a 10 year old, and both Auntie Beth and my good chum Tim buy me the set with Howard the Duck and Spider-Woman, I'm returning at least one of those, whereas I can use two stormtrooper battlepacks. Same goes for us adult collectors.

3 of those must be Avengers sets. That's what happened with the AoU sets. We had numbers (Avengers 1, 2, etc.) before names I believe.

And 1 has to be Civil War.

Do we know what 76046 is?

So from what I've heard over the past year from the last time we got an Xmen set is there won't be any sets based on the MCU right because of all the legal stuff... (MCU = Mutant Cinematic Universe xD)
