Legocity2713 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Green Goblin has a green/orange kart with wings on the sides Spider-Man has a red/blue helicopter with flick-fires Box includes green bottle and pumpkin bombs. Red Skull has a flying 'gear' Captain America has a small version of the craft from 76017? I think he meant a motorcycle. Box has Cap's shield the Tesseract Ultron has a grey/red kart that launches a wrench Hulk is in a white/purple kart with big-fig fists in front, launches a chicken leg (?) Source It says the Pumpkin bomb is a head! And by mini version of 76017, he he most likely means the tank. (It was said that Cap would be getting a tank previously) Quote
dmarvin Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 The actual sets sound strangely amazing. Will be worth to pick up when they inevitably get discounted to $7-8. Quote
Ultron Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I figure they'll just reuse the jack o' lantern heads from Hagrid's Hut a few years ago as the pumpkin bombs. That's what I'll do if they don't turn out good. Quote
Hawkeye616 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 The racers sets actually have the short legs? Thats an almost definete pass for me. The torso and head might be what makes me buy most of them, and the actual cars or vehicles don't sound half bad. But ugh....short legs. Quote
Winter Soldier Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 (edited) You can see on the picture that Bane has a comic-style printed face. I think it's almost 90% sure that all of the racers or 'Mighty Micros' will be in comic-style. Just like I said in earlier posts before that image was revealed. EDIT: By the way, you can also see the helmet of Flash and the vehicle of Bane with a fire-ring that will maybe included in the racers set of Bane. Edited September 30, 2015 by Winter Soldier Quote
Borex Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 It went a bit like this: "We now have a great idea: Mighty Micros. Not only the vehicles are micro but the hero too!" Everybody at Lego applauds. In the meantime afols everywhere die a little. Quote

Does anybody know the approximate piece count for these? Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Big bummer on the short legs. Not even sure how they'll manage Green Goblin now, since he really can't be done without at least a differently colored hip joint. Some of the builds sound interesting, though, and this'll be wonderful for getting characters with solid-colored legs. Still holding onto hope with this one! Quote

Will he have purple spandex or be green/naked? The suspense is killing me! Anyone else think it's highly unusual that both Hulk and Green Goblin will now have the distinction of having been represented as regular minifigs, bigfigs, and short-legged minifigs? raminator Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 What if they make them multi colored short legs like with the simpsons? I think Gobby would look pretty nice with purple-green-purple legs. Quote

If they're not going to the "trouble" of including regular legs, I doubt the mini ones will be dual molded Quote
Winter Soldier Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I hope they'll make an MCU Hulk ( olive-green ) and not a green one like in the first polybag. Quote
BrickTamland Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 If this does truly confirm just "micro" legs will be included, that's pretty unabashedly gimmicky. At least their still technically minifigs and they didn't go full Xalax on us. This doesn't affect my interest in the line, I'll find uses for a hobbit army with brightly colored pants. But seriously most of these guys legs are without printing historically, so I'm a little surprised by the backlash (excluding green goblin). Quote
kevkipo Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 So quick question, i'm bricklinking so stuff and i added Ultron (Cause i didn't have him yet) should i add Vision, Scarlet Witch (With Mermaid Hair wich is 4 Euro's extra!) ? Or should i just wait for the CW sets and see if they fixed the hair problem and if Vision is featured On topic of the Short leg problem, just ridicoulus. They really shouldn't have done that, Spidey and Hulk will look the weirdest Quote

kevkipo Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I think I would just wait. Unless you really want them now Well not really now, i'm going to use them for a CW display. I'll probably start building when the trailer comes out, wich is right about the same time we'll see set pics (Probably) I don't know if they will fix the hair problem tough, but we'll see Quote

benderisgreat Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Racer figs officially have short legs? That sucks, since it makes buying most of them pointless. Red Skull , Cap, Bane usually have unprinted legs of 1 color, so it's possible to give these 3 figs normal legs. But with figs like Green Goblin it just won't work. So now I have to get that Juniors set with him, what a bummer. I don't think this Mighty Micros will be successful when minifigs have just short legs. It's a shame , but it seems I will now have to skip all but 2 of racers sets in which minifigs can be fixed with normal legs. Quote
Robianco Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 (edited) I don't think the success of the Mighty Micros is dependent on the use of regular legs. They're probably, as with most sets, be aimed at kids. Kids being able to race heroes and villains and as such I don't think kids think too much about the use of short legs... Kids also have plenty of legs lying round and normally switch things round a lot anyway... This is from experience. AFOLs having a cheaper way to pick up minifigs is a side product of the racers... At the moment there only seems to be 3 figs from 12 that replacement legs are tricky for which is a decent ratio... And one of those is pretty common thanks to a BP set. As a stocking filler and cheap buy I think they'll do well. Edited September 30, 2015 by Robianco Quote
kevkipo Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 If it's any consolation, she looks great with that mermaid hairpiece! She does right? it fits perfectly! I don't really mind the short legs, i mean off course it's a huge bummer, but it's not that i was picking these up anyway. I do feel those of you who expected a good Gobby and Ultron (Comic versions) this time around, you could say it's an easy fix but both deserve leg printing on normal legs Quote
Marvel_Geek Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I'm quite disappointed in the fact we are getting short legs. For the picture, does anyone know if lego will release stuff at NYCC? Quote
