YoshiBlockr Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Ok here is my speculation The smallest set will have the showdown with superman and armores batman on a rooftop with a batsignal= $15 The middle set will have normal batman with the batmobile with him facing of superman in the face to face car sceen, this set will probably include alfred, wonder woman or a superman guard= $30 The biggest set will be the lexcorp building. It will probably include batman, superman, wonder woman,a strong muscule villan such as doomsday, and as confirmed lex luthor with hair will be in this set. This set will also maybe include a batwing or a vehichle of some sort. = $70 This is all specualtion, but if any of this is true, please tell us j2g, Sci, or anyone else. We are all very desperate...
psqidexslizer248 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) Alright guys, first off I never said I'd reveal any info September 1st. Second off, the "info this weekend thing" was said through a PM between BrickJagger and I, and I said "maybe" but honestly, it was just hopeful thinking because I usually get more info from myself when new sets come out. I really wish it didn't become a big thing. But, I don't want this thread to get any more off topic soooo, Big BvS set has Lex (only set with him in it) with hair, there you go, BvS info. Thanks. The smallest set includes Armored Batman and Superman, doesn't it? Edit: Also, can you tell us anything else about Luthor's appearance? Edited September 1, 2015 by psqidexslizer248
IMBATMAN Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) One can only hope... (until someone confirms/denies this) On a side note, did J2G say that we were go ing to be disappointed by Raven because she's in a polybag, or not even appearing at all? Edited September 1, 2015 by IMBATMAN

I doubt there's be two Batman v Superman fight sets, even though that's the main plot (that we know so far) of the movie.
Ashnflash Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Wow... J2G was right this thread just blew up and talked about small piece of news for an entire page... I know its exciting but now I'm looking at this and I'm excited myself... But lets calm down a little bit... Thanks for the news J2G!
legosamsonite Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) I just hope luthor has a younger looking face... Edited September 1, 2015 by legosamsonite

I don't see the problem with more than one set where Batman and Superman face off.
Bricky Dee Williams Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Yes, it is supposed to have another vehicle. I don't see the problem with more than one set where Batman and Superman face off. Right, but three figures? Who know, maybe it'll just be an "inspired by" set and not a "based on" set, like Iron Man 3. I'm excited for them all, either way.
8BrickMario Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I'm sure the supposed Lexcorp will be an open-backed facade like Arkham or the Temple of Airjitzu, I wouldn't expect an enclosed building, because it would need to be a hinged dollhouse if it were.
ARSLOCK Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 can someone explain what a "racer" set is? if they are $9.99 that'd be a great cheap way to get some figs I want...

From what we know so far, they are $9.99 sets each featuring two mini-vehicles and two minifigures (1 villain and 1 hero). Edited September 1, 2015 by psqidexslizer248
Ashnflash Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) So as of right now the only figures we know that we are getting are: -Batman -Superman -Wonder Woman -Lex Luthor w/ hair Edited September 1, 2015 by Ashnflash
VictorFrenchFries Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Guys, take it easy. Nobody said it was Lexcorp, it can just be like some random building or just a bunch of vehicles, like the Batwing.
Pheonix1604 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 That's what I hought the other day. Batman and Robin are already racing, so why not Batgirl? But then again, there are inconsistencies between four racers and the leaked list. How so?? alos i would think that if this is indeed the case we might see New 52 Catwoman and New 52 Batgirl together in the set :)
8BrickMario Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I don't think any of the figures in the Racers are new. Hulk_Smash saw no new prints, and nothing indicating a new mold.
Bricky Dee Williams Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I don't think any of the figures in the Racers are new. Hulk_Smash saw no new prints, and nothing indicating a new mold. Except for the Marvel Hulk. He could be the one in the promo, but no new characters on the DC side.
Ashnflash Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 In prelims there are no final designs of characters! If you remember the Hulk stood in for every big-fig also in the Brainiac set Superman had his Man of Steel design in the prelim. No ones designs are final in the catalog!

Like the 2012 promo. And yes, he did stand in for Darkseid and Grodd.
Ultron Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Except for the Marvel Hulk. He could be the one in the promo, but no new characters on the DC side. Actually there are a few new printed ones on the Marvel side, but it is strange the DC ones all seem to be the same And Let Luthor with hair? Lame! Good thing he's bald and you can just take that ugly thing off. I imagine it will be the aragorn hairpiece in orange or the sandy orange color
Ashnflash Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I meant minifigure size! Like the 2012 promo. And yes, he did stand in for Darkseid and Grodd. Its not just that! Look at the original Sinestro and Green Lantern! Firefly or Deadshot only has a white head because there is no mold. Characters turn out very differently in the final products...
8BrickMario Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Its not just that! Look at the original Sinestro and Green Lantern! Firefly or Deadshot only has a white head because there is no mold. Characters turn out very differently in the final products... True, stand-ins happen often, but a new mold is almost always indicated by a white prototype or head. If there's an older mold, it's unlikely to be replaced by a new one, and thus, the minifigure is a rerealese. Harley's hat turned out to be in the Jokerland set, even when everyone assumed it was a stand-in for the pigtails. It wasn't. Combined with the old prints, it's safe to say that DC has new vehicle builds, but nothing new in the way of figures.
TheLegoDr Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Why would anyone want new figures? We buy these for the sets! Get your heads in the game, people! (time will tell what LEGO has in store for us)
8BrickMario Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Why would anyone want new figures? We buy these for the sets! Get your heads in the game, people! (time will tell what LEGO has in store for us) Not anymore...minifigs are a powerful motivator for buying a set.
dmarvin Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) Not anymore...minifigs are a powerful motivator for buying a set. In fact, if the set is anything other than an iconic build (like a '66 Batcave, for instance) minifigs are my only motivation for buying a set. Has it already been established that there's no possibility of a DCCU Aquaman in the BvS sets? Edited September 1, 2015 by dmarvin
Legocity2713 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) Not anymore...minifigs are a powerful motivator for buying a set. Indeed! However, arguably, this is more so towards licensed and action themes as everyone wants an iconic character to play with and display. I don't really recall anyone buying a City or Creator set for a fig. "Wow! Look how plain it is!" Other than for parts for making their sigfig with. In fact, if the set is anything other than an iconic build (like a '66 Batcave, for instance) minifigs are my only motivation for buying a set. Also very true. "Iconic" really is the keyword with sets nowadays. Edited September 1, 2015 by Legocity2713
