psqidexslizer248 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) Thank you very much J2G. "Heroes of Justice: Sky High Battle"? Is that the most ridiculous Lego set name, or what? Anyway, it comes with all the main characters, and the Batwing and Lex Luthor (not to mention everything else but Lex's chopper) look great, so it'll definitely be worth picking up. It's seems a bit pricy though at 517 pieces for $70, are we sure on that price? Edited November 7, 2015 by psqidexslizer248
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Here's a look at the biggest BvS set! Thanks a lot for the pic! Luckily for my wallet, I don't like the set too much. The figures, however... Having the three big DC characters in a single set, that's nice.
LegoPercyJ Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 The box figure art on the bottom shows bald Lex... SPOILER!
namioik Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I hope the jet is still preliminary.....not liking it so far
Falconfan1414 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 A bald lex or a lex with hair decent looking set! Also I like how they are not calling it batman vs superman
Zergos Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Not a huge fan of the set itself. Its great that it comes with the trinity all in one set though.
strangely Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Well... It's not bad, but honestly it doesn't look all that special. The Batwing or whatever it is looks okay, but it's not that interesting. The helicopter looks really bland. The minifigures look great though and even though the build doesn't blow me away it still looks like a nice selection of parts. Might wait for a sale though.
Falconfan1414 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 My only complaint is that this looks really over powered...
CM4Sci Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 What is THAT? I don't blame the set designer, what in the world kind of ship is that? Cool we get all 3 of them in a set. That's about it.
fordtruckin Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Thanks J2G!!!! I love everything about it. Especially Superman's boots!
TheBatstan Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) Don't tell me you guys didn't know that that was how the Batwing was going to look: Edited November 7, 2015 by MisterBatfleck
psqidexslizer248 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 So did someone buy this? Sets aren't supposed to be released until January, and even with store slip ups the soonest sets get put on the shelves usually isn't more than a month in advance.
Coca-Cola Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Don't tell me you guys didn't know that that was how the Batwing was going to look I mean other than the fact a photo of this was on the first few pages.. this is a LEGO fan website. You know where fans of LEGO come to talk about LEGO. Considering it isn't shown clearly in a trailer or anything yet, expecting a LEGO fanbase to know what a Batwing that hadn't even really been properly revealed yet looked like, seems a bit much.
psqidexslizer248 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) The box figure art on the bottom shows bald Lex... SPOILER! It's already been known for a while now he'll be bald in the film at some point, and it's not like it's that difficult to make a minifigure bald. Edited November 7, 2015 by psqidexslizer248
Churchill Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I like that we're getting a shield with WW. And use of the cockpit piece is interesting.
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Love how Superman is smiling in the top right corner. I thought this was a dark movie...
psqidexslizer248 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) Love how Superman is smiling in the top right corner. I thought this was a dark movie... I'm pretty sure that just because a movie is "dark" it doesn't mean the characters aren't allowed to smile. Also, these are children's toys (or so I've heard) based on the movie; if anyone can get away with having someone smile, it's them. Edited November 7, 2015 by psqidexslizer248
IMBATMAN Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Are those technic pins attached to the machine guns (on the Batwing)? It looks really weird.
DarthBrickus Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 It seems my '100%'-streak remains unbroken. Buy 100% of comics / DCAU-based sets. Pass on 100% of Movie-based sets.
benderisgreat Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Here's a look at the biggest BvS set! Thanks for pointing sting this picture. Great looking set with great minifigs. Although Batwing is a bit different than usual, I'm still intrigued by this set. Also it has 517 pieces, so it's going to be around 50-60$ set? With this piece count I see it selling for more than 60$.
Winter Soldier Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 WW's accessoires look very geat, she has a shield and a sword!!!!!
Soupperson1 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Are the grey things at the back of the batwing just for look or do they create play features? All the figures look great! I'm glad it's a $50-$60 set and not an $80
deskp Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Uh crap hair on Lois lane again, and they seem to be using same old lex face, no special face for movie, boo.
Cammo Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Nothing too special, I'll be picking up the minifigures seperately.
