I picked up a few of the Mighty Micros from the Lego Store. I just stopped by to speak with friends. I guess they were doing an event, they had displays and tracks out for kids to race sets. They said that's why they're on sale before the other sets release March 1. Not sure if it was a branch thing or if all stores were doing this.

I just rewatched those Lego Justice Legue cartoons. I took note of how they teased us with excellent printing all over the figure. I mean, It's mostly just a continuation of belts and such on the side of torsos, but it really adds to the figures. If only, lego, if only...

I would say 2012 Black suit Batman was blatantly based on Keaton. Maybe that was just me, but it's always what I imagined.

Also, all the users in the UK, I just went down to Smyths last Saturday to pick up the Lego Slave 1 and found all the batman and superman sets. They are great, but there was no mighty micro or civil war.

Thanks, I'm gonna go buy the Batmobile tomorrow then

Thanks, but due to being like 20 miles away from a Smyths I won't be going. I'll just wait for Argos and get it then.

I do think the black and gold Batman was based on Keaton.

That one definitely is, seeing as the 2006 Batmobile, Batwing, and Joker helicopter were also based on the 1989 film as well.

Could any of the dual molded arms or legs from the Disney minifigure series be used for any existing DC figures? Like Mr. Incredible or Syndrome.

May want to edit this post, DC thread. But I'm not sure...

He hem *Jokerland Batmobile!*

NO Minifigure is based on the Keaton Batman. The Black Batman is based on the 90s Grant Morrison/Howard Porter JLA look. A Keaton Batman would have the distinctive buckle and batsymbol.

I completely forgot about the Troika batsuit,

Damn, NOW I want a proper Keaton bats with that face! Just to display him in his face of no mercy against the Penguin and his duckmobile.

Batkeaton vs Penguins Duckmobile and Killer Croc's Dentures of Doom. Ideal

I've always found the resemblance to this figure striking. The figure was part of the 89 merchandise. Besides the Batman Lego movies almost all have the Danny Elfman inspired theme.

Has anyone seen any of the Batman V Superman or Mighty Micros sets in Australian stores?

I've seen all batman v superman ones here in Aus but no mighty micros or the Harley Quinn bike set. I haven't been to shops tho for about a week so that may have changed

I'm hoping to get two Mr. Incredibles so that I can use the arms and legs to make an upgraded Tim Drake. And, of course, there's the mask, which is really useful for any number of characters. That's all I have with just the pictures we've seen.

Those two figures look nothing alike. That's clearly not based on the Keaton Batman :sarcasm:

So I built the Cycle Chase yesterday, and here are my thoughts:

Harley Quinn is a fantastic representation of a costume/version that I hate. The figure really does look great, though. This version of Batman is completely superfluous for me, as I liked the torso from Riddler Chase a bit better without the white-ish highlights. Deadshot looks awesome, and is pretty much the main draw of this set, for me, though I find his jetpack to be odd and unnecessary, but hey, the pieces are nice to have. His arm-printing is excellent.

As for the builds, I don't know why, but I was expecting the bikes to be a bit bigger. Not that they should be, I just thought they would be for some reason. The scale of them actually looks pretty good. I think Harley's bike would look better with a bit of parts rearranging, i.e. big wheel on the back, or maybe a slight slant for the body. Not bad though. I really like Batman's cycle quite a bit more than I thought, and the resemblance to the Bat-pod is pretty cool. All in all, pretty satisfied for a $20 set.

Mr. Incredibles arms might work for New 52 Nightwing, but I think they're too bright a red.

Well, strictly speaking, neither are accurate to Keaton's Batman – the minifigure's symbol and belt are wrong and the action figure's symbol is wrong...
