Captain Britain Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I'm glad we're getting some more characters like Ra's and Talia but from what I've seen of Ra's so far (if that's the accurate pic?) I wasn't blown away, and sadly the same goes for Bats too. Although it's still nice to get another Bats variant and I didn't expect it to be a Knightmare version. Not sure I'm keen on the sound of the buggy either .

retrotaco Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 My only problem with the new cowl is the complete lack of matching flesh-tone for the head - he's either way too tan or way too pale - if they could just get that nailed down, I'd love it. I hope that Com-Bat or whatever from last page does have a better matching cowl, cause the suit seems cool enough, but it doesn't really 'stand out' as desert-like to me, y'know?

I'll want to switch out the cowl and cape for something that has a more...'desert survival' look to it, but unfortunately, I don't think that's really out there lol I'm hoping for a brown cowl Yup, exactly - a brown cowl and cape and I'd be quite satisfied.

It's not that different from the previous one, just a small color change and different sticks. Definitely not worth getting if you already have the red one.

Actually it kinda is, granted it is exactly just a color change but it opens up the door for say an Arkham custom and other things like that. So while you are right. A lot of people myself included will get it because it is an amazing figure, slight color change or not.

Definitely not worth getting if you already have the red one. Of course it's worth getting. The fact that he's known for having his blue attire, makes this minifigure good. It's been a long time since we got blue nightwing, and this is the chance to get him updated and better. Yes, we have the red one, but this is much better.

Agree to disagree. I have the red one, and I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for this one. The blue fits Nightwing so much better- it's been his color scheme for 90% of his history. I got the Batzarro dvd for $6 or something on Black Friday at target, and Trickster and Kent on clearance at B&N for under $10. The only one I paid full price for was Cosmic Boy.

I wasn't around for the original blue version of Nightwing, but I got the red version. However, I've never ever preferred that iteration of his costume, so I'm psyched to see him turn up again in blue, especially with a hairpiece that's a bit less...extreme.
BaneShake Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I really hope, if Desert Batman does have a type 2 cowl instead of a type 3, that they give him an old head. I tolerate the printed-on-black heads only because they provide a chin to the chinless cowl, and would serve no purpose here.
