What exactly, apart from the wings, do people find bad about the grey and dark blue Batman figure? The head is surely an incorrect one, as leaked figures often have. The muscles are an older style, true, but there's nothing inherently bad about that style. Just curious what people find wrong with it.

I think you just said everthing wrong with it XD

Though it looks convincing, duplicates of figures from brands such as SY and Decool are beginning to really resemble LEGO's figures. LEGO needs to do something about these fake brands, some of my friends who've wanted rare figures such as Deadpool and the old Scarecrow have all been drawn into cheap duplicates that have ultimately broken after a few days. LEGO will start receiving complaints soon that 'their figures' are fragile when they are coming from rip-offs like the two I mention above

The bootleg figures actually don't bother me at all. I think the bigger issue is that people need educating about them and know the difference between bootleg and the real thing. I've never known a fake to fall apart though... that sounds like the kind of thing Brick Show would say in a scare mongering kind of statement. I know discussion of bootlegs is kept to the Community part of the forum so I'll say no more on that... although I will say that the new cowl is something that is being bootlegged widely now and it wouldn't surprise me at all if these were cloned figures although they seem to have Lego stamps on them which none of the bootleg companies do.

I think we might have set pictures around like mid-end november. After that seems to late. Was there or is there any confirmation or rumor for hoe many figures are in the largest BvS set.

Always check the first post - that's where all the information is. It's Batman, Superman (with boots), Wonderwoman, Lois Lane, and Lex Luthor.

And a random goon!

Do you know something?? Could it actually include Doomsday :cry_happy: :cry_happy:

Couldn't be, DC already said there will be no Doomsday in the movie.Doomsday is more of a Superman solo villian than a group villian. However, if Luthor is the big and only threat in the movie then.....

Ok, please don't start rumors based on wishes in here. I don't think there's actually a Henchman in the Batwing set, that's all. It's just the other five minifigures, like I said in my previous post. Nothing's confirmed, though, so I'll leave the first post as it is.

I still think LEGO need to take their eyes off the comics and towards big franchises like the DCCU which they are finally doing properly. The Arkham games are very popular, and it is stupid they arent trying to do anything based off those. The CW shows are getting huge successes, mainly The Flash. LEGO are really missing the trick here with these kind of things, kids are starting to get interested in these types of things (at least the CW shows), they should really swerve into that kind of thing rather than a constant stream of comic based sets. We should get 2 waves; The Winter Wave should focus on stuff like the DCCU and so on, then the Summer Wave should roll out the Justice League and comic based sets.

The Arkham game series is basically over and the CW shows don't have as large an audience as comic and movies do (and anyone who would buy CW based sets would buy the comic based sets anyway.) When the DCEU finally kicks off next year, we'll likely see sets based on most of its movies. (Judging by the schedule, those sets should for the most part be Winter Wave, which would leave the Summer Wave open for comic sets.)

Sorry for the change of subject, but did anyone get his hands on the Cosmic Boy figure yet? I mean... There are some pictures floating around the internet, or where do those come from?

He hasn't been released officially and I have not seen any appearing on ebay so I don't think anyone has yet.

There was an open one on France eBay at one point.

Edit - It's still up: http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Lego-Cosmic-Boy-/111812669532?clk_rvr_id=924779152265&rmvSB=true&ul_ref=http%253A%252F%252Frover.ebay.com%252Frover%252F1%252F709-53476-19255-0%252F1%253Fff3%253D4%2526pub%253D5575046059%2526toolid%253D10001%2526campid%253D5337309211%2526customid%253D%2526mpre%253Dhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.ebay.fr%25252Fitm%25252FLego-Cosmic-Boy-%25252F111812669532%2526srcrot%253D709-53476-19255-0%2526rvr_id%253D924779152265&ul_noapp=true

Source of where DC/Warner said that Doomsday wouldn't be in Batman v Superman?

Sean Ray, 3D creature artist for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice:

"Unfortunately Doomsday isn't in Batman v Superman. Maybe in a Man of Steel sequel or a Justice League movie maybe".

And it should be noted that in case anyone says "he's lying to cover up the truth", the guy deleted that quote he said from Instagram as well as his entire account shorty thereafter.

Please don't debate Doomsday's appearing in the film here. That belongs in Culture & Multimedia. We do know for a fact that he's not in any of the BvS sets we're getting so far, so at this point Doomsday is irrelevant to this discussion.
