Winter Soldier Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I wouldn't be surprised if we shall also see a polybag with a micro-version of the new Batwing.
Ultron Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Not a bad set but the only one I'm interested in is Wonder Woman to be honest.
wilson3a10 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) Thanks a lot for the pic! Luckily for my wallet, I don't like the set too much. The figures, however... Having the three big DC characters in a single set, that's nice. OMG Spoiler so lex will turn bald in the movie And that wonder woman looks gorgeous! Edited November 7, 2015 by wilson3a10

Coca-Cola Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) I'm not sure if you need spoiler brackets for something that's been known since March. Same thing as to the other guy.. this is a LEGO fanbase website. Not everyone here follows the movie news and photo releases as closely as someone like me or you. I mean. I agree it's something most fans should know by now.. but like the mainstream trailers haven't shown Lex bald and this simply isn't a collection of people eager for the new movie. It's new news for a lot of people.. Does anyone have any assumptions for pricing in Australia, or even a proper US price i could compare with? I'm guessing maybe $60au but the amount of figures and size of that box has me worried it could be another $100 set. Edited November 7, 2015 by Coca-Cola

Robert8 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Wow... that Batman ship looks odd Even for Hollywood standards.... which says a lot
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Wow... that Batman ship looks odd Even for Hollywood standards.... which says a lot It looks a lot like Black Manta's Sub from this year.
Deathstroke77 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 It's an... ok set IMO. The Batwing looks okay, but I'm not too sure about the grey on it. And against that tiddly helicopter?! Either way it has nice figs, but nothing at all special other than that. I'm still wondering what the £30 set will look like, but it's kinda bad from LEGO when people want the £12 set almost as much as the big set of the wave, which seems REALLY overpriced to me. Really hoping the March releases will deliver, especially 76053, that's the set I want most from the TRU description.
TheLegoDr Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 It has nice figures...that is all that can be said for any Super Hero sets anymore. Maybe it's the scale, but the Batwing definitely doesn't fit how the movie one should be. And this is the first I'm seeing the Batwing. I only know what LEGO tells me since I haven't been following it. I'm a Batman fanboy and I haven't kept up with the hype..I think that says something. Plus, is this Batman print any different? It looks the same as this last year's where we got multiple of the same dark gray suit...boring. WW looks good. Boots on superman, I can go either way. Is that the only difference? And for that price...I don't know. I'll probably skip even more LEGO sets or wait for a sale that will never happen.

No, this Batman is based on the movie version which has a different torso print from last years version. As far as scale goes, I think it's close, maybe a bit big. Colossus Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Although I'm no Batfan, I actually like this new Batwing set. Great minifig assortment, and I'm intrigued by the build.
Winter Soldier Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I wonder how the Super Jumper will be used in this set. Return of the Super Jumper!!!
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I wonder how the Super Jumper will be used in this set. Return of the Super Jumper!!! Hopefully Lego has modified it in some way. Otherwise, you might as well "break a leg!"
psqidexslizer248 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I wonder how the Super Jumper will be used in this set. Return of the Super Jumper!!! I don't see the Super Jumper advertised anywhere on the box.
Amazing Bricks Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I don't see the Super Jumper advertised anywhere on the box. Yep, super jumpers are gone. What really bothers me, is the fact that wonder woman has dark red, while supes gets the bright red. It just doesn't look right, now when I put them together, it's going to look all messed up. Although, I can switch out the red cape with a dark red cape.

Captain Nemo Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Set looks terrible to me. I'm really only interested in Wonder Woman, and the set is not worth it for her alone. The other figures--another Batman, Superman is fine, and a lazy Lex and Lane (I hate that Lego reuses Bruce Wayne's face for everything). I'm not a fan of the new Batwing design (granted, Lego did the best they could with the weird design, and it does look accurate), but that helicopter is an abomination. And that says a whole lot considering the many terrible helecopters that come from the Superhero theme already...
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Don't tell me you guys didn't know that that was how the Batwing was going to look: As an aerospace engineer, I have to say this looks terrible.

We saw a super jumper in the first set and maybe they have changed the design of the box?
psqidexslizer248 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I don't think so. We saw a super jumper in the first set and maybe they have changed the design of the box? It could just be that the smallest set comes with a Super Jumper and the largest one doesn't, IDK. I guess we'll find out when official pictures start rolling in.
benderisgreat Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 As far as I know, the price is $69.99 US. 70$ for 517 pieces? Way too much. I'd pay 60$ for this set no problem, but 70 is overpriced. I mean even the builds are generic, Lex's helicopter has been done in many forms by Lego before, nothing special here, and Batwing isn't that interesting to me either so the only reason to by this set is minifigs. Lego has already overpriced SW sets in September would not want them to do the same here with Superhero line.
