Robianco Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Really excited to get V1 of Bane (have TDKR one) finally after 5 years. I think that's actually Bane v2... The v1 is getting very expensive now.
tafkatb Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 I think that's actually Bane v2... The v1 is getting very expensive now. Or it might be a whole new Bane altogether... these are still prelims after all, and the prints you see here aren't necessarily the final ones.
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 I think that's actually Bane v2... The v1 is getting very expensive now. Yes. Bane v1 was in the Bat-Tank set in 2007, and Bane v2 is the one in the Mighty Micros from the 2012 Batcave. Bane v3 is the TDKR one from 2013.
Tygurah Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Interesting.. might get all of the DC sets, as I can swap the legs rather easily...Marvel not so much
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Interesting.. might get all of the DC sets, as I can swap the legs rather easily...Marvel not so much Yes. The MCU films have led Marvel to have more detailed parts, including legs. DC are more comic-based, and therefore don't have as much detail/ printing.
Deathstroke77 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) I agree, but we take what we can get. The most developed is definitely the snowplow. The rest are meh, especially Catwoman's. (Not counting useful pieces that is) Yeah, the snowplow looks cool. And by the way I meant V1 of the Super Heroes (2012-present day) theme, should've made that much clearer. Nsk97 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 It is odd that in the marvel micros many of the minifigures have blank torsos or blank faces but in the DC ones all of them have printed pieces. Does this mean the Marvel sets may be getting new prints but DC aren't?
psqidexslizer248 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) Those racers look pretty bad IMO, but they are a nice way to get figures that you might have missed. I wonder why Deadshot and Harley are the only ones in the prelims without prints... maybe Lego and DC are having disagreements over which versions to use? Edit: The only ones in the prelims of the sets, not the micro racers. Edited November 15, 2015 by psqidexslizer248
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 That set is also four and a half months away. The other ones (Marvel) release in a month and a half.
Amazing Bricks Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) DC mighty micros are already finalized. Edited November 15, 2015 by amazingbricks
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Oh my goodness, Bane's totally driving the Power Miners Thunder Driller. Oh wow, I'm so blind! I just realized the color scheme, it is the Thunder Driller! DC mighty micros are already finalized. Ah, wrong thread.
Sir Gareth Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Ah, wrong thread. Actually the right thread...
CM4Sci Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 DC mighty micros are already finalized. No? How do you know?
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Actually the right thread... No, amazingbricks had a post about the Marvel Mighty Micros (alliteration!) here.
Amazing Bricks Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Yeah, I fixed my mistake. Well, what's there to change for these?
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Yeah, I fixed my mistake. Well, what's there to change for these? I agree with AB, there's nothing that looks temporary with these. All figures seem to be reused, and I think it'll stay that way. I say they're pretty final.
The Lego Nolan Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Well the legs you can see on a few of them and there just white or grey. None of them match the characters.
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Well the legs you can see on a few of them and there just white or grey. None of them match the characters. I'm thinking Lego may be planning printed small legs! Otherwise, why the white legs on characters who already have short legs that match them? (Their color)

psqidexslizer248 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Either that or dual molding. They've done triple layer molding with the small legs in the past, dual molding seems like a step backwards.

deskp Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 They've done triple layer molding with the small legs in the past, dual molding seems like a step backwards. Have they? the simpsons legs are just dual molded, the top and bottom parts are the same mold part, in order to keep the integrity of the piece.

Are they? I thought they were triple molded. Oops. Where? I thought in the Simpsons theme, but it turns out I was wrong again. I know Simpsons were double, when did they do triple molding? I thought they were triple, sorry about that.
