just2good Posted December 2, 2015 Author Posted December 2, 2015 Went to a store that Brickseek said has them, gave a DPCI, and they couldn't find it because 'it's not tied to a stock location?' When that happens, that means it's in a street dated box.
CM4Sci Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 When that happens, that means it's in a street dated box. !?!? Why wouldn't it be out?
Amazing Bricks Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I feel bad for all of you who haven't found the cube yet. I ordered it immediately it was online and have now had it for 5 days.
Junior Shark Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) Just went to my local Target (North Colorado Springs).... like 40+ minifig cubes on shelves. Needless to say, I grabbed a couple. Edited December 2, 2015 by Junior Shark
Deadshot Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) While everyone rushes off to their local Target I'm going to slowly cry in front of my UK TRU... I don't mind regional exclusives with games and stuff but LEGO??? Seriously??? Just a simple kids toy is now being locked into 1 store in 1 country. What do you guys reckon are the most expensive DC figures at the moment THAT HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN REGULAR SETS (thought I'd just put that in case someone came up with Arsenal or something). I have every single figure from the DC line other than Bruce Wayne, Bane (the one coming in 2016 racers) and the 3 figures exclusive to that awful Battle of Smallville set. I guess I should say I don't have 76028, but that's on its way in 23 days time... One last note, is anyone not keen on The Dark Knight Batman figure from the Bat vs Bane set from 2013? It's not very accurate in terms of colour, it's grey compared to a damn all black suit, it's not meant to be a metallic grey. I'm with ya. It should've been all-black, or at least given him grey underwear so it was all the same color like Bale's suit. I don't have any of the Dark Knight sets, but that would certainly would've an annoying eye-grabber for me. So stoked about a Lego-official Deadshot minifigure. I was relatively hyped about it back when the story was that it would be Firefly, but the reveal that it was actually Deadshot got me really excited. And a new Harley? Never was a huge fan of her jester outfit, and I like the Arkham versions of Harley, so I'm hoping it will be along those lines. Edited December 2, 2015 by Deadshot
Falconfan1414 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Ah based on that trailer I want more batman vs superman sets. So much they could do
psqidexslizer248 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Ah based on that trailer I want more batman vs superman sets. So much they could do I am surprised we aren't seeing a Lego Doomsday.
The Lego Nolan Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Yeah I really hope they have more sets too. Cause there's some big things in that trailer.
Thelegodan Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I am surprised we aren't seeing a Lego Doomsday. we could get a set released after the movies release with the thing you mentioned.
namioik Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 we could get a set released after the movies release with the thing you mentioned. That rarely happens. Actually I don't recall any new super hero sets being released after the initial wave. Only polybags
rob-ot5000 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 (edited) Was there a new trailer, aside from the unmasking clip that played with Gotham? I'm not finding anything online. As for *that* character, unless we see him in a new trailer that I'm unaware of, we've been repeatedly told he isn't in this movie. Right? EDIT: Ahem. Found it. Alllllrighty then! . Edited December 3, 2015 by rob-ot5000
Coca-Cola Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 That rarely happens. Actually I don't recall any new super hero sets being released after the initial wave. Only polybags Captain America is doing it next year. Star Wars has done it with their movies. Batman even was late to get a set for The Dark Knight Rises. While it isn't the same thing with neither Batman or Star Wars it is another example of getting film sets after the film. It is totally possible but as you said rare. Although stranger things have happened and this is sure to be a huge movie so if we stay somewhat optimistic...
Valo487 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Since the sets still haven't been revealed officially, but Spoilersaurus Rex is now in a mass-released trailer, I'm kind of puzzled why it's not being included. Maybe Lego didn't get that information early enough? But you'd think that would play HEAVILY into the merchandising and they'd want to capitalize on it...

Maybe Lego didn't get that information early enough? But you'd think that would play HEAVILY into the merchandising and they'd want to capitalize on it... Delta Customs on Instagram was reporting that the sky battle set was going to originally include doomsday but LEGO canceled on it. Don't know the exact reason. Then again there was much discussion as to whether Doomsday was in the movie and that easily leads to if he would be in a set or not but now it's finally confirmed. I would've liked a Doomsday big fig over Lexs Helicopter but I'm also glad it didn't spoil the movie.
Valo487 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I knew there had to be something else, there was no way they would end the movie with those three heroes against one guy in a helicopter. I would love to know why they cancelled it.
DJ Bricks Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I knew there had to be something else, there was no way they would end the movie with those three heroes against one guy in a helicopter. I would love to know why they cancelled it. Might have been DC's choice. Remember they tried the damdest to keep him hidden even told Shannon to retract his statements a few months ago. They probably didn't want it spoiled.
Shib Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Didn't want it spoiled and yet put it in a trailer....seems like the kind of backwards thinking behind a lot of Snyder's stuff. With each trailer/reveal I have become less and less interested in the film, which sucks because I'm far more of a DC comics fan than a Star Wars or Marvel fan yet I'm far more likely to go see Force Awakens and Cap 3 at the cinema than BvS. The real silver lining is the LEGO sets for more DC figures. The Wonder Woman figure looks a great variation, the Armoured Batman also looks great, add into that a Bat Signal and I'm relatively happy.

I heard what the sets were including nearly a year ago and there was never a mention for Doomsday.

Winter Soldier Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 New image of the Batmobile polybag (I don't know if this has already been posted): http://brickset.com/sets/30446-1/Batmobile
Falconfan1414 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 (edited) The whole doomsday thing did not spoiler the whole movie, if anything the trailer did by showing him. But it seems like they want to market the whole every one vs doomsday so it's a little odd Lego would not put him in a set but maybe Lego did not like doomsday's design Edited December 3, 2015 by Falconfan1414
Kraby Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 (edited) Really hoping that we'll get Doomsday somewhere down the line, meaning anywhere except some Comic Con exclusive... Reminds me of how we first saw Azog. Glad he was included in the second wave... Edited December 3, 2015 by Kraby
Robianco Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Doomsday should be a bigfig so I can't see him being an SDCC figure. As a Batman fan I fear what the SDCC DC exclusive might be next year.
Numbuh1Nerd Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I bet that we'll be seeing an exclusive or a summer set with Doomsday and any other big surprises the film has to offer (I'd say there's maybe one or two good ones left). Not too crazy that we'll almost definitely be getting the movie's version of Doomsday long before a comic-accurate one, which would look significantly better in my opinion. This new one doesn't look quite as intimidating to me.
