Trailer seriously dampened my enthusiasm.

First half was great, built up more tension for the initial faceoff.

Second half revealed nearly the entirety of the story, it seems.

I figured WB was just backpedalling when they said that Doomsday wasn't in the movie and I'm glad that's the case.

And as already stated, it makes the Sky High Battle (Or whatever it's called) look really strange. No Doomsday, but Lex in a helicopter? Batman in the Batwing, which is already (apparently) crashed when Doomsday makes his first appearance? It's not like it's called "The Final Battle" or anything, so for all we know this could be a battle that takes place before Doomsday's unveiling, but that makes Wonder Woman's inclusion inaccurate.

(It's a Lego set, I know, just trying to convince myself that Doomsday will be coming later :P)

New image of the Batmobile polybag (I don't know if this has already been posted):

Still have my custom one sitting in my room. Very easy to recreate.

Would be nice if the summer wave would bring us that desert/'Knightmare' Batman and a big fig Doomsday

Very flad Doomsday is in the film, however I REALLY don't want to see a BvS version of him. He looks like a giant, dirty frog. I'd rather see something like his Injustice version: doomsday-injustice.jpg

Would really like some Injustice sets, especially if they added skins in for some variations (e.g in a Green Lantern vs Sinestro set they could do John Stewart Green Lantern and the Regime version, with a more armoured look and a helmet). Great game that was. Really surprised they haven't done an Arkham Knight set, especially the Batmobile. Would be great to see that in brick form.

That seems like it's going to be a dream sequence sorta thing like the sea of skulls was in Man of Steel, so maybe Knightmare Batman could be an SDCC exclusive like the black suit Man of Steel Superman was.

I should hope Warner Brothers has not gone full 'Terminator Genysis' on us and actually revealed the entirety of the film in this trailer. Maybe Sky High Battle makes sense, maybe not - either way it's got some great minifigures (who actually appear in the film) and a decent bat-ship-thingy, so we could be in much worse shape.

At least these BvS sets may only be lacking things instead of containing stuff that's just dead wrong, like Mandarin's Go-Kart or other builds that are irrelevant (though perhaps Lex's copter will be irrelevant, it remains to be seen).

I agree, but fortunately at least the helicopter is "in character". Hard to be as irrelevant as a set that leads you to believe that a bumbling actor as harmless as a fly is actually a radical terrorist who fights on a go-kart.

They tend not to do direct tie-ins with the games. The closest thing we've seen is the Arkham Asylum set with the pseudo-Arkham Robin.

"Giant dirty frog" is the most perfect description I've heard so far XD

You guys do know that Doomsday evolves his look right? That's kind of his thing.

The other car in the Batmobile set is a forklift. The other figure is another henchman, but I think he may have a new angry cheekbone face.

Do you have any ideas when we will be getting pictures?

Great, thanks for the news J2G. Find it weird that with only 4 weeks until the set is officially meant to hit the shelves we still haven't seen the full set.

Nope.

Yeah, they're really keeping it under wraps. But no prob!

yeah. I guess the people here are probably bigger lego fans than DC by alot. I expect by Man of Steel 2 for him to looked like a more comic book look

I know he evolves, but considering he's just been created presumably, I doubt he's going to develop much, maybe a more mutated version if there is to be a sequel to BvS or in JL P1 and P2.

As for the new sets, don't they hit America early? I know The Brick Show had their hands on the Black Manta Set just less than 2 weeks before the official release date.

I wouldn't count on him being the main villain in Man of Steel 2. We have no indication that he'll be hanging around after this movie. Especially if he's being created by Luthor, he'll probably be destroyed in this movie.

Leaks from the set confirm you should have more faith...

Doomsday could be one of the great movie villains - a terrifying and unstoppable force that really challenges the audiences belief that the heroes will win. I wonder if the film has enough time to use him well.

Apparently the original Batmobile set had Batman, the Batmobile, Doomsday, and a ruined LexCorp building but then Doomsday got "cut" from the film so now like Just2Good said

Where did u get this fact from

Who in the world said that? Not all of that would fit into a $30 set, haha.

Definitely shouldn't be trusted but actually a few weeks ago when it was confirmed there would be no Doomsday in the film he posted a fact saying it was originally going to have Doomsday but he also said they went a different route because Doomsday "isn't in the film" and went with a generic goon and a forklift: which is what Just2Good just told us. If you don't believe me check his instagram.

It's fine that we aren't getting Doomsday...he looks so much like the LOTR Cave troll that i feel like i already have one! ;-P
