TheBrickBuilder14 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Honestly I don't think that Lego will be making anything based on the DC tv shows. They'll probably go the comic route with a movie sets coming out right before a major DC Movie. As for the summer wave I really hope that they will finally make a Red Hood figure. The design that they have for him in the video games would be very easy for Lego to produce and wouldn't require any new molds. I'm also hoping for an updated version of Two-Face but that probably won't happen any time soon. Finally I hope that we will finally get a new hair piece for the Joker, either the slicked back widow's peek or the Doctor Who hair would work much better then the ones they currently have.
BlockLogo Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Yes, I know all of that. The problem is the price in Europe are really expensives, and every time. Finally, here, all the sets are between 20% to 30% more expensive compared to the US price. Because "we win more money by month", but it's not real for all of us. Lot of people here can not by all the sets they want. I'm disapointed when I see the price ... Don't forget that sales tax needs to be added to US prices. They vary by state and are anywhere from 5% to 10% upwards. Value added taxes are usually included in euro prices, around 20% for toys.

If you mean the Malfoy hair, then I can't say I agree. But the Doctor's hair would work fairly well for his Arkham version. If we do get a new Two-Face, I'm betting it'll be a Micro...
Kraby Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I don't think this is the right place to ask, but since I don't know where it would suit more I'll just throw it here. Please delete if needed. I was wondering how likely / possible it would be to get a batmobile based on the Animated Series design (from the 90') somewhere down the line, not necessarily in 2016? If I'm not mistaken, it hasn't been done in the past, and I always thought this cartoon was the most critically acclaimed and iconic one? Maybe I'm biased because I grew up with it, but it was always my impresson.
DarrellBricker Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 If we get DC Summer Sets, I hope they are Justice League-oriented so we can get a Black Canary and/or a Zatanna at least ... although I suppose either one of these could end up in a Batman set if the summer sets *have* to be Batman-centric. I'd also love to see a set that includes Red Tornado, Hawkgirl, Firestorm, Atom and Elongated Man to round out the "classic" JLA, but that's a pipe dream and a half. Looking forward to what this winter's toy fairs reveal ...

No, I mean this hair piece: https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=92081&idColor=11#T=S&C=11&O={"color":11} would work really well in green for the Joker I think.

That's exactly what I said, It's the hair that debuted with Draco Malfoy. I don't think the Joker's hair is commonly that smooth and rounded in shape.

Actually the Joker has that hair quite a lot of times, Grant Morrison's Joker had it and Leno currently has it as well here is a picture of Morrison's Joker.
Neomars Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 According to Bricklink some Target stores have the Clash of Heroes sets in stock now. Also I've seen some pics on instagram with Barnes and Noble stores having a majority of the new sets in stock.
Kraby Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Weird it hasn't popped up, however the 2006 UCS Batmobile looks a bit like it Indeed it kinda does, but I can't say I'm a fan of the build...
Numbuh1Nerd Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 On the topic of the Summer Wave, I hope that Lego takes inspiration from the Flash TV show- it's fairly popular while still fitting the colorful, kid-friendly aesthetic typical of Lego. If nothing else, I'd like to see some loose inspiration. A nice Flash set with Reverse Flash and perhaps Firestorm, or maybe something Legends of Tomorrow inspired with Atom, Hawkgirl, and (again) Firestorm taking on Vandal Savage or some other villain, all with comic designs. Or maybe even just something more generally Arroverse, like Green Arrow, Flash, and Atom? *shrug*

Lego doesn't need to create a sub-theme or provide show accurate replicas or anything, I just think it would be profitable for them to take advantage of the current popularity of the characters involved in the shows.
Khscarymovie4 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) This is the last comment I can see. I think its glitched, and this the only thread that's doing it for me. EDIT: I fixed it by commenting. Edited December 30, 2015 by Khscarymovie4

I'd love to hear your idea there, I'm a huge fan of the show!
Krikkit Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Wait, are you just talking exchange rates? If so, your math is off a bit, because €70=$76 USD. If instead you're suggesting that $80 will be the US MSRP, the US consumer catalogue for next year already shipped, and the Batwing (76046 Heroes of Justice: Sky High Battle) absolutely costs $59.99 USD. Lego's international prices vary. Often the US gets the better deal, but sometimes all countries get the same price rounded to the nearest price point, and sometimes, though infrequently, the US gets a worse deal. If France's Batwing costs €70, I'm sorry. remember tax.
Deathstroke77 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Well the new sets should be on shelves officially in 2 days, so I'll be checking around every store here in the UK, anyone else who hasn't got any of the sets be doing the same?
Sir Gareth Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) Found the two largest Batman vs. Superman (ft. Wonder Woman) sets, Kryptonite Interception and Sky High Battle, at Barnes & Noble, along with both new Marvel sets, and some Nexo Knights (Only bought the Avenjet though.) If you're impatient like me and can't just wait until Friday, I suggest checking out your local B&N store (YMMV). Edited December 30, 2015 by Sir Gareth
Deathstroke77 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) The new DC sets have been added to S@H (not for purchase though): http://shop.lego.com...questid=5111755 Edited December 30, 2015 by AngelofVengeanceAzrael7
Legocity2713 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Fully agreed. I'm not a fan of exclusives. LEGO is expensive enough without the crazy exclusives being added in. I've seen the prices people charge for them and it's really annoying when it's a character that that is the only way you can pick it up. It kind of creates a brick wall for fans of certain characters or general LEGO fans who just want to grow their collections. Just another opinion. 2 sides of the same coin.
Amazing Bricks Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Do you guys agree with me on Superman and Lex switching faces in this picture looks better?
psqidexslizer248 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 (edited) Do you guys agree with me on Superman and Lex switching faces in this picture looks better? *snip* Yes for Lex, no for Supes. Supes should have the currently existing serious Superman face print instead of the Bruce Wayne one. Although I still think the Bruce Wayne head suits Lex just fine. adotnamedstud Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Do you guys agree with me on Superman and Lex switching faces in this picture looks better? image Wow! That looks much, much better! Yes for Lex, no for Supes. Supes should have the currently existing serious Superman face print instead of the Bruce Wayne one. Although I still think the Bruce Wayne head suits Lex just fine. If you started a collection with just this set and wanted to be accurate. I'd switch the heads. People do it unintentionally all the time it looks really great.
NXS7 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Only issue is you need to switch heads for a bald Lex. I really question Lego's choice for that head piece. It only suits comic book Superman and Hyperion
