Bricky Dee Williams Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 From what I'm hearing, croc will indeed be a big fig. He'll look different from LB3. About two face, I was told hints and I'm thinking it could be scar face now. Either one would be great. No way! I love the way they did Scarface and the Ventriloquist in those Club comics, with Scarface as a microfighters with a fedora. Wouldn't he be the first "printed" microfig in an official non-game product? Ooh, this would be great, although I suppose Two-Face wouldn't be all that bad... What indicated scar face in lieu of two face? Just lost in translation, maybe.
JaHawk2009 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 A Scar-Face would be fantastic, mainly because it's finally a brand new villain!! And it also gives me hope of somebody new in the other set (Hush Hush Hush), though I am definitely excited to see how they interpret Scarface. Would he be a brand new element?

My excitement for the summer sets is starting to build now. Anyone else expecting the 60s Batcave reveal this week? Feels about right, a month before VIP release to me - though I may just be hoping too hard. Edited January 10, 2016 by JaHawk2009
8BrickMario Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I don't expect Ventriloquist. Yeah, he'd reuse the bald cap, but otherwise, I don't think it'd look great. Scarface would have to have an oversized hat, which would look too silly, and Ventriloquist is fairly obscure and doesn't really have a place in either set, from what we know.
psqidexslizer248 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I hope this Ventriloquist rumor is true; Batman's rogues gallery is in serious need of expansion (granted, he wouldn't be my first choice). I can see it happening; he's not quite on the level of Penguin and Two Face (and nowhere nears Joker's ), but he is definitely a mainstream Batman villain (he's had recurring appearances in both Batman the Animated Series and The Batman). Plus, he was in the JL Lego comic a year or so back. Also, if this is true, this will be the year since 2006 to feature two or more new Batman villains in Lego form.

Also, does anyone else recognize the goon in the red visor? He looks to me like a mutant gang member from The Dark Knight Returns! Edited January 10, 2016 by PepperoniBricks
Bricky Dee Williams Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 A while back, someone said a D2C has never been $270. The 10030 2003 Imperial Star Destroyer begs to differ. I just wanted to point that out. It still does not dignify the Batcave's price tag....
Airbenderfreak Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) My thoughts on the '66 Batcave. Figures: Great, all accurate. Great to see another Alfred after ten years! Disappointed at the exclusion of Batgirl. Bruce and Dick were unnecessary. Love Catwoman. Design: Eh. It's a shame when LEGO bases it's design around one play feature. We usually only see this in small sets, so it's not that damaging. But in a D2C set rumored to be $270? And since there seems to be a play transformation play feature, it affected the minifigure choices! I feel they could have easily have made this into a $120 set with a more acceptable design. I will get Catwoman on the secondary market, but skip the rest. Edited January 10, 2016 by Airbenderfreak

Unless the box art is misleading and it is much bigger than it seems to be, but for that price, I want something really chunky. My thoughts on the '66 Batcave. Figures: Great, all accurate. Deathstroke77 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 It's just the huge price tag they've slapped on it that is holding me back. Like JaHawk2009 said, if this set is under £200, it's on my shopping list. If not, then I'll cash in for the figs and give the set a miss.
zipper778 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 That would be awesome to get the Ventriloquist this year! I hope the rumors are true.

Deathstroke77 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Here's hoping. And I'd love The Ventriloquist! He's a great Batman character, and with big sets this wave I guess it's more aimed at us, and most AFOL who like Batman will know him, especially from the Animated Series.
Zergos Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I'm not a huge fan of scarface and the ventriloquist, but this may lead to other batman rogues being made! So I guess I'm for it :)
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 So images of the summer Star Wars sets are starting to surface online, lets hope we'll get some of the DC sets very soon aswell :)

Hopefully set descriptions at the very least.

Mr_KnowItAll_JD23 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Is it possible for us to get pictures of the summer sets from the Toy Fair?

The London and German one's rarely ever allow pictures, but the New York one usually does. Edit: The dates for those: London: Jan. 24th - 26th German: Jan. 27th - Feb. 1st New York: Feb. 13th - 16th. Im a brickmaster. Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I will say this again... I'd rather get Calender Man before the ventriloquist/scarface
psqidexslizer248 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I will say this again... I'd rather get Calender Man before the ventriloquist/scarface Calender Man would be cool, but I don't think he's had even the exposure that Venquilitrist and Scarface have had. Personally, I'm just happy that we're actually getting some of the more obscure Batman villains. Hopefully it's a sign that some of the more popular Batman villains that have yet to be made in Lego form are on their way as well.
Deathstroke77 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I didn't even know who Calender Man was until I played Batman: Arkham City, so the likelihood that kids will know who he is or even want him by someone who goes by the name Calender Man are extremely unlikely. But then again, would they really know who Deadshot and Deathstroke are?
