I didn't even know who Calender Man was until I played Batman: Arkham City, so the likelihood that kids will know who he is or even want him by someone who goes by the name Calender Man are extremely unlikely. But then again, would they really know who Deadshot and Deathstroke are?

Probably - Deathstroke has been in the recent DC Animated Original Movies, and shows up as a bad guy on Teen Titans. Deadshot is a more obscure one, for certain, but he's about to be in a major film, and has made appearances in other DC projects that children could have encountered - such as Arrow, Justice League and others.

Wasn't there a Calendar Girl in Batman: The Animated Series?

Wow we are actually getting the Ventriaquist and Scarface! Is there anything else I have missed?

Don't mean to burst anyone's bubble, but amazingbricks said it could be either those two or Two-Face... Don't say it's confirmed just yet.

Scarface and the Ventriloquist is (are?) one of my favorite Batman villains. I really just love the idea. The perfect sort of real-world psychosis that's also sort of colorful and fun. He would've made for a great easter egg in the Nolan movies (y'know, if Nolan ever actually cared about Batman as a character :hmpf_bad: ) As weird as Scarface could look, I'm willing to accept it.

If it's Two-Face, I'd still be perfectly fine with that. I'm surprised we haven't seen him again already, since he's one of the 5 most well-known Batman villains. I just hope he's well-utilized and isn't just the same figure we saw with that first Batmobile.

I seriously doubt we would get the Ventriloquist and Scarface before more mainstream villians like Ra's al Ghul or Clayface.

Never doubt the Lego group's unfathomable ways! Hahah

Since I'm not sure where else to ask; which of the larger 2016 sets should I get first; Batmobile or Batwing?

If you can find the Batmobile at Target, there are reports that it's mismarked at $50 (instead of $60). If you can't find that deal, then I would want the Batmobile first, personally.

Since you are getting both, I would get the Batmobile first so you will have a set sooner.

I'm from the UK, so no Target for me unfortunately

Sweet, Batmobile it is for this month then, thanks for making up my indecisive mind for me

I'm indecisive too, especially when it comes to LEGO! I'm glad I could help! Also, please tell me whether it's a worth while purchase, I am on the fence about it.

I have a question, since we may get a fourth BvS set with Doomsday, what are the chances Mercy Graves would make an appearance in the set. Sorry if this is considered a "wishlist" of sorts, I just desperately want a Mercy Graves minifigure!

We got Man-Bat and I wouldn't say he I s anywhere near as well known as Ra's. Edited by Legoman123

And getting Deadshot, who until very recently, had less exposure than Man-Bat.

I wasn't aware we may be getting another set? When was this mentioned?

So question, when do we usually get descriptions of the summer sets? Do we have to wait for the toy fair or is it usually earlier then that?

We should get descriptions from London Toy Fair, however I'm hoping the preliminary images will get leaked out before then.

But Man-Bat's not a hard concept to sell in toys. Even Imaginext has a Man-Bat. Plus he lends himself to a set really well: you either make a bell tower or some sort of Bat-flying machine. Ra's al Ghul is a lot harder. He's just some a guy with a sword who doesn't die so long as he takes a bath. It's certainly not impossible to put him in a set and do it well, but he's much more difficult than the likes of Man-Bat or the Ventriloquist, who really only needs a truck.

Erhm, Marvel got Hyperion, of all villains.

Nah, turns out he had mixed it up with the Juniors sets this summer.

Hyperion has made several notable appearences in the Avengers Assemble cartoon on Disney XD. He's one of the reoccurring villains. In fact all of the Justice League rip offs (Squadron Supreme) have appeared as villains on the show. So far he's made around 9 appearances in the show.

So it seems there pushing that character big time, (I even think he's getting a solo comic).

Unlike Scareface and Ventriloquist who have had almost zero exposure in the past few years.

Although it seems the 4th BvS set was dismissed and we are getting a Bats and Supes vs Lex Juniors I think DC really missed a trick with putting together the Doomsday bigfig set...

The ONLY villain in the BvS sets is Lex and he is in the most expensive set... For them to only release another Lex set in the summer... I have a feeling that may be down to the release of the film being pushed back and Lego not being informed of the Doomsday reveal at all when designing the sets as it seems to obvious to leave out? Still the BvS sets do feel a bit thin as wave especially Kryptonite Interception which feels like it is missing an element to the set for the price and I believe that to be the Doomsday bigfig! I reckon Lego are kicking themselves about that but how could they have known?

They could do a Lazarus Pit showdown kind of thing for Ra's, with collapsing stuff and a mechanism that makes him jump out of the pit or something.

Noooo! The return of the Super-Jumper!!!
