Can anyone tell me when the new superheroes sets will be in shops. There in Lego shop but no where else

I see you're in Ireland. I have no clue, they're out in the US and UK, they should be out there. They were all set for a January release.

Just watched the new Suicide Squad trailer! It's making me really excited for Harley and Deadshot!

I second that! Just wish the builds weren't so lackluster :/

I agree, but the figures do make up for anything disappointing about the vehicles.

Plus low price point so we can live with that!!

Hi all, been lurking for far too long so decided to sign up!

My first question - Just out of interest, has anybody heard any murmurs of whether there will be a Jared Leto joker flying about in one of the summer sets on the back of Suicide Squad?

Came across this cool custom depiction of a JL joker on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEGO-Custom-Joker-Jared-Leto-Minifigure-New-from-Suicide-Squad-Movie-Minifig-/371536436945?hash=item56814c1ed1:g:pLIAAOSwwPhWitM2 (might take a punt on it closer to the ending time)

So far we didn't hear a single thing about the Joker being in one of the summer sets and, even if there will be a Joker I wouldn't expect a Jared Leto version, atleast not one that is 100% accurate to his appearance.

LEGO has done nothing to directly tie into the film, and I seriously doubt they will. Harley and Deadshot are from the film's source material, so, by extension, a comics Joker would be used and not be any different from the previous ones.

I agree. The movie doesn't seem to fit with the Lego brand as a toy company and having "Suicide" in the title will probably go against a lot of their company ethos... Having said that they made a Heath Ledger Joker and he was just as messed up...

I'd be happy if the only psudo Sucide Squad based set was this one though as Harley and Deadshot are paramount and seeing as we should be getting Killer Croc and already have plenty of Jokers all is fine by me

I could see them throwing a movie version of him into a comic set, I just wouldn't expect any sets to be strictly based on the movie. We did get a Beware the Batman Batmobile and Batman in a regular set, so I don't think it's impossible to see a movie design pop up as an individual element in a set.

Someone over at the ninjago thread saw the prelim catalog for the two DC sets, details on them were very limited though. Only thing I got from it was a gorilla grodd placeholder for killer croc

A lot of the licensed figs we've seen show up in normal sets (Beware Batman, ASM2 Electro, etc) were likely due to them being planned for sets before some businessy stuff went down. Beware the Batman was cancelled not too long before the Riddler Chase, and I'd say Marvel pulled the plug on the ASM2 sets for whatever reason. The new Joker almost definitely hasn't had a figure designed of him yet, and will plenty of opportunity to down the line, given, y'know, he's the Joker. It might be a while, but we'll see him.

Glad to hear that Croc is definitely a bigfig. The old Croc minifig always felt off to me because of how small he was. I think it's kinda funny, though, that all of the comments about Killer Croc on every Suicide Squad video complain that he's just a guy in makeup and not a practical effect, because he should be way bigger, but over here a bunch of you are complaining about him being a big fig because he should be smaller. Somewhere between Lego fans and YouTube commenters lays the perfectly proportioned Killer Croc

Definitely happy with Killer Croc being a bigfig! I do like it when we get the bigfig and a minifig variant like we did with Hulk but as he is much larger it does represent him much better!

I'm also happy to hear about Croc being a big fig.

So, someone saw the catalog? What do the sets look like and what figures appear to be included?

For whoever asked about the sets in Ireland, they'll be out in March (yes, the BvS sets are out in March here along with 76053 and the Mighty Micros) like the UK. And another Grodd? Cool

While I don't mind a big fig, I would love a minifig version so that I can showcase it along with my other Batman villains in the minifigure display!

I hope you're joking because I specifically said Grodd was a placeholder for Killer Croc haha

- just got ninja'd by Robianco and Ultron
