TheBrickBuilder14 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Its on the facebook page just search promobricks and you should get it. Anyway Batman and Superman are their usual classic comic book selves but Lex Luthor has a new printed torso and a lime green power armor suit that is similar to his previous power armor, overal Luthor is definately the highlight of the set.
wesleydoogan Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Absolutely loving the Juniors set. I was disappointed with the BvS Lex and already had Wonder Woman so didn't get the Batwing set but this more than makes up for it. I may not get any of the other DC sets in this summer wave but might bricklink some of the figs as after spending £230 on the batcave my wallet wont have any space for Bat tanks!
Hellfyre Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Don't like they have changed Luthor's face to be that of Bruce Wayne's. His first face was fine, what's the point? It would be a bit awkward now to have Luthor and Bruce Wayne in the same room now....
psqidexslizer248 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I'm liking that juniors set. Also, it looks like Lex Luthot has his classic purple and green suit under that armor piece.
Sir Gareth Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Ugh, why did LEGO change Lex's armor piece to lime-green, and his head to Bruce Wayne's? Looks like I ought to finally bite the bullet, and just purchase the original Power Armor Lex off of BrickLink
le-goat Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Must say the sets are slightly underwhelming especially given the price they're going for. Saying that no doubt Ill purchase them.. Do we know when these summer sets are to be released in the UK?

It could very well go down in price seeing as it seems quite close.
Cammo Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) Cool minifigures, lackluster sets. I'll save more money than initially thought. I'll just bricklink the villains I want. Same goes for the Spider-Man sets. The Marvel Bridge Battle honestly disappointed me; maybe I was expecting something similar to the Arkham Asylum set, display-wise. On the positive note: there's more money for the 1966 Batcave set. Edited January 27, 2016 by Cammo

Sorry I know it should be in the buy/sell/trade part but I can't start a topic there so didn't know where else to ask? They'd all be Marvel / DC.
8BrickMario Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Wow, this Luthor is actually better than the older armored one! Need.

If you mean how much a figure is worth then I'd look at completed listings on eBay and Bricklink prices. It's one thing for people to list a figure at £25 on eBay but if the last one that actually sold went for £13 and the cost on BrickLink is similar to that sold price then you have a value for that figure. The original Scarecrow, Bane, Killer Croc etc all still sell for good amounts and I don't see that changing with any of the new additions. The original Batman line figures have all been superseded by the Superheroes figures but the originals hold their value. I'm not sure how that translates to figures in other lines such as Greedo which was 'upgraded' with the Cantina etc but having a new and inexpensive route to a figure can bring the price of an older figure down. Alfred on the other hand will keep going up until we see another moustache classic/new 52 version appear. Edited January 27, 2016 by Robianco

Appreciate the quick reply. Roll on the new sets being released :D can't wait to pick up the new minifigs, Blue Beetle looks cool!
TheSilentShane Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Soooooooo glad they went with a more human-looking Killer Croc. I've gotten really tired of the slow shift towards making him just a straight up crocodile on two legs and I'm happy to see Lego stuck with a more human-with-crocodilian-features look. The set on the whole is made by the Bat-Tank which does remind me a bit of the TDKR Batmobile. The giant bear trap with the stand for Boomerang is really stupid, but the minifigs and the tank easily make the set. Also loving Blue Beetle and Killer Moth!
Numbuh1Nerd Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Not crazy about the color of that armor, and I liked the purple detailing on the LB2 version, but I'm just glad to get another chance at an armored Lex. The torso underneath better be cool, tho
rob-ot5000 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) RE: Juniors Power Armor Lex Well, that's disappointing. The lime-green for his armor piece is baffling, especially considering his hands are still dark green And no printed tile to go on the armor. The Bruce Wayne head doesn't really bother me, so no particular qualms there. The tank build looks fairly neat though, so that's something, I guess. I also might just pick up the old one from eBay or BrickLink. Kinda depends on whether I can get it for cheaper than this set. Hmm. Damn, that's a let-down. EDIT: Did I incorrectly remember a printed chest tile for the old one? It doesn't seem to be there, but I could've sworn it existed. Was that just in-game? Arg. EDIT 2: Oh man, there are so many things I didn't notice at first. His whole color scheme is flipped. Purple torse with green hands and legs. Hmm. Interesting. This will definitely require deliberation. Edited January 27, 2016 by rob-ot5000
Captain Nemo Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Ok Juniors set. It does seem redundant considering half of it is basically a rebuild of the Juniors Batcave (but then they used light blue bricks, so it wouldn't match ), however the Lex vehicle is great. Not too sold on Lex's new design (which is entirely the selling point of the set)--I like the lime green armor, but I hate the use of Wayne's head and what appears to be a strange torso print. I was expecting them to use the amazing Super Friends costume but even with what little is shown, it's clearly not that design; which is disappointing.
Legocity2713 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Lex Luthor's old Power Armor looks way better. His tank actually looks pretty good. The Batcave looks like a jumbled mess however, but I'm sure kids don't mind and AFOLs love some good printed pieces.
TheJoker Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Juniors set in my opinion is better than all of the marvel sets ever made! I am a DC fan and a Marvel hater

Ultron Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Juniors set in my opinion is better than all of the marvel sets ever made! I am a DC fan and a Marvel hater Not cool. We're all supposed to be mature here and not initiate petty fan wars.
TheJoker Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I was just Joking I am Thejoker remember? I like Marvel but not as much as DC!
8BrickMario Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 It's sorta cute at first, but pretending to be your username/avatar gets old. \ I can't understand why I'm so excited by the Scarecrow set, but the combine is one of my favorite SH vehicles. Batman's copter is nice, but it looks like it was designed for Beetle, not Batman. The blue is really jarring, so I might leave off the Batsymbols and give it solely to Jaime.
SpiderSpaceman Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) https://scontent-lhr...fg=eyJpIjoidCJ9 Say, that's pretty slick. Batsignal 2x2 rounds are awesome. Also the entire lex thing doesn't scream "juniors", good addition to my regular lineup. Edited January 27, 2016 by SpiderSpaceman
TheJoker Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I just think Marvel's Lego sets are lame. its just my personally opinion. I think DC better sets over all. because i don't have to buy so many sets like Marvel has. DC has maybe 6 or 7 a year. Marvel has like 11 or 12.
