TheJoker Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I'm sorry, but I was talking to someone else. And there is a thread for wishlists. no this is not a wishlist and oh ok.
Deathstroke77 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 'TheJoker', do you play the Arkham Series by any chance? Because all of those have popped up in the series.
JaHawk2009 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) no this is not a wishlist and oh ok. Well.... It is literally a LIST of characters that you WISH you could own. Soooo... Wishlist. Edited January 28, 2016 by JaHawk2009
Hoth Rebel Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 This thread has gone from quite good to really bad in like 2 pages because some people give 'The Joker' the attention he doesn't deserve.
Legocity2713 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) And to get this train back on track from new members who take no regard to even perhaps skim the guidelines of the website... Has anyone noticed the crocodile piece on the back of Killer Croc's vehicle? Is it a separate piece from the vehicle or is it attached? --- because I do see some gray pieces on it making it seem similar to a remote controlled/robotic croc. I think it was described as a tail that is attached to Killer Croc's chomper-thing. It can swing side to side I believe. Edited January 28, 2016 by Mr_KnowItAll_JD23
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) So zusammengebaut has just uploaded some clear shots of the Marvel sets and they give us a much better look at the figures So we should be getting clearer shots of the DC sets either during the night or most likely tomorrow :) Edited January 28, 2016 by TheBrickBuilder14
Bricky Dee Williams Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I think it was described as a tail that is attached to Killer Croc's chomper-thing. It can swing side to side I believe. Yeah, Brickset said it had a crocodile mouth on the front and a crocodile tail on the back. They didn't mention the crocodile's mouth was taken from the adopted brother of Jaws, but they did mention the attached tail.

Thought it was a crazy Killer Croc "minion" to be added to such an already crazy set.

dario2739 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Better looks at DC Sets. Credit to the same site/Youtube channel as before. Most of the vehicles are pretty poor to be honest – the exception is the Scarecrow's combine harvester... that looks really nice. Minifigures are all outstanding though – Boomerang in particular looks very good in close up. I am a bit disappointed with Croc though - the moulded scales down his back are great, however I think they could have made more effort on the face instead of just painting the features on – also would have liked to see chain round his wrists. Could do with a better look at Scarecrow, but he does look like the classic look from BTAS from what I can make out... hopefully he comes with a scythe too. Incidentally - if anyone from Lego's looking in... give Riddler a proper question mark staff in future - not a crowbar!
The Lego Nolan Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I'd assume that the reason for Blue Beetle would be that he is one of the Titans in the new Justice League vs Teen Titans animated movie.
8BrickMario Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 (edited) Scarecrow looks...interesting. Still can't make it out, but I may or may not hate his new face. He looks like he's wearing goggles...? Moth looks better, but I didn't realize the farmer was a hilbilly type. Edited January 29, 2016 by 8BrickMario
NXS7 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 (edited) I'd assume that the reason for Blue Beetle would be that he is one of the Titans in the new Justice League vs Teen Titans animated movie. That just means we're missing one Titan, whom is much loved around here Honestly though, I thought the same But the movies are slightly too brutal for kids Edited January 29, 2016 by Quicksilver838
Amazing Bricks Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 How boring, the farmer has Vic's torso from the tmnt sets. I thought he would have something new like the banana seller did. Very disappointed. Anti gas Batman is all black, hoping for a new torso.
Coca-Cola Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 How boring, the farmer has Vic's torso from the tmnt sets. I thought he would have something new like the banana seller did. Very disappointed. Anti gas Batman is all black, hoping for a new torso. To be fair, many who are going to by this set, won't have the farmer from tmnt set. I can see how this is annoying for collectors but this is a new minifigure to the majority who buy this set. And correct me if I'm wrong but the banana seller was only new because there was no previous banana seller... I guess what I'm saying is if it isn't broken, don't fix it. The farmer is a fine minifigure and as someone who doesn't have him yet he is welcomed. If it were a reused torso from the same line, I would feel the same but come on man... I'm happy all around. Superheroes has never had super strong builds (DC especially) so to have 3/4 come out as decent as they have, on top of the awesome minifigures, is just exciting to me. Both of these will be day one purchases for me.
Neomars Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Looking at the box art gives a better look at, well, all the minifigures. Batman is in a black suit again and it looks like he has yellow eyes. And from a distance looks like Black Panther from the Marvel Superheroes game. Blue Beetle also has a new mold for the beetle picers that extend to the front with the scarb legs. Plus I don't know if anyone pointed it out but he seems to have the new clear piece the Spider-Man have to have studs pointing outward from the hand.
mantebose Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Seems like anti-gas Batman really have a new torso. + better vehicles in this set... As for me Scarecrow set > Crocs set. At first I was sure that I'll buy Crocs set, but now I dont even know. Figures in Crocs set is better as for me. Especially I want Boomerang and Red Hood. But it seems that it will be better choice to buy just figures without set and take full scarecrow set.
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Scarecrow looks pretty great from what I can tell and it is quite apparent that he'll look very similar to this: Come to think of it he might even get a double sided printing on the head since the witch piece now covers up the back half...
Robianco Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I see those Mr Freeze '66 figures are starting to make an appearance! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEGO-Mr-Freeze-Minifigure-from-Batcave-50th-Polybag-EXCLUSIVE-/272117268508?hash=item3f5b74001c:g:5DkAAOSwFMZWqMAd http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lego-Mr-Freeze-Minifigure-Adam-West-1966-Classic-Batman-not-in-polybag-New-Real-/272113684064?hash=item3f5b3d4e60:g:J~EAAOSwX~dWo4Di

8BrickMario Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 (edited) Scarecrow looks pretty great from what I can tell and it is quite apparent that he'll look very similar to this: *pic* Come to think of it he might even get a double sided printing on the head since the witch piece now covers up the back half... Ah, I hadn't looked at the design for a while. That's why his eyes are surrounded by darkness. I'd love a second face! I'm wondering what Moth will look like under the helmet. Have we ever seen Walker's face? Surely it's not a molded head... Also, the similarities are uncanny: Joker Steam Roller vs. Fear Harvest * Vehicle with front roller * Vehicle with front roller * 3 heroes, 2 villains * 2 heroes, 2 villains, a civilian * Flying Bat-vehicle * Flying Bat-vehicle * Gas-based weaponry * Gas-based weaponry * Sidekick in peril? * Citizen in peril * 2 builds * 3 builds So the farmer's inclusion is the only major difference between the sets!
