Bricky Dee Williams Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 That's not so bad  Haha, *uneasy laugh*... I'm just glad we're getting suicide squad characters, movie variations or not. Lego was very smart including those characters, they did it to please us. Yes, good move on their part indeed, especially the Gotham Chase part. The Killer Croc part feels a little forced, honestly. I mean, there's no indication it take place in a sewer at all.
Legoman123 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Why would you expect a hair piece - Boomerang's always worn a hat! This is his current comic-book look, nothing to do with the movie (other than the fact Lego have very cleverly given us the Suicide Squad in the new sets) I know that but I was expecting him to be based off of the movie not the comic, that's why I'm slightly disappointed.
psqidexslizer248 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I am not too sure on Captain Boomerang with his hat on as I was hoping for him with a hair piece. (basically just a copy of Jai Courtney's version in suicide squad) There is already a hair piece that'd look fine with the figure (http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Part_62810 in dark orange). It shouldn't be too hard to find one and replace the hat.

Marvelous Spidey Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 It's PG-13 ; as is Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Lone Ranger, any Marvel movie in the past eight years, Star Wars: Episodes III and VII, Prince of Persia, etc. It's really just the name, I'm sure. The movie is just bad guys going to take out a bad guy, I see no other problem, personally. Besides Harley Quinn's lack of pants..... I think it's more down to the name and perception than anything. It has been portrayed as much darker than anything else you mentioned. Plus it's an "all villains" movie, I don't think LEGO would want to produce a Superheroes set with no actual heroes.

The least they could do is Batman vs Leto Joker with the pink car. That's all that I need for my 'Suicide Squad goals'

SpiderSpaceman Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Better looks at DC Sets. Credit to the same site/Youtube channel as before. I started hunting back through the thread when I saw 8BrickMario's super-clear closeup. I still missed it if it's in here, but there were some good extra angles. Also I'm now deaf from some really bland zydeco music.

Cobb Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 (edited) This new wave is a little dissapointing. I like the figures except for Croc's bigfig, but the builds are very uninspiring. I would have loved if the sets included some sort of building (part) or a location. Strangely the best part imho is the little red tractor. i do like the juniors set though, it's a nice add on to the earlier juniors batcave. I wil get that for my son. Edited January 31, 2016 by Cobb
KCMatze Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Build wise I am really underwhelmed, but in the end I am more of a minifig collector anyway. I do like nice builds and see them as a bonus, but do not have enough space to display them all. I just wish Boomerangs boomerangs were chrome or at least silver. I mean he has silver ones all over his body and they give him blue ones. Strange! Will get most of the figures off bricklink or eBay. That croc is really my candidate for ugliest bigfig ever. Glad I don't collect those!
Lionbear8 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 First time posting, been following this thread for a year now, you guys are on top of everything. Keep up the great work.
Legoman123 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Well I don't mind the Bat Tank, but that's it. I am seriously sick of getting vehicles in the superheroes line. I understand that we may need one or two in a wave, but not the amount we've been getting. I've said before the minifigure selection is fantastic but other than that the sets are boring.
Lionbear8 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 DC needs to take a page from Marvels Spiderman bridge set and start including more buildings with features. Maybe for the batman movie next year.

Exactly. Like maybe a sewer build in the sewer set?? Rather than Killer Crocs dentures of doom, with a sidecar for Cap Boomer. Welcome also
KCMatze Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Yep that's pretty much the most ugly and stupid "vehicle" in a Super Heroes set...
Deathstroke77 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Ow, my chest hurts. 'Croc's dentures of doom.'
KCMatze Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 (edited) Nope, I don't think so, the pics on Galaads flickr say no tail. Edited January 31, 2016 by KCMatze

Croc's vehicle is a mess, and will be the first that I don't keep. There's nothing aesthetically pleasing about it, and bigfig's just aren't made for vehicles.
